Edit, The team at Pillar to Post reached out to me to make things right. I had not received the offer from them to reimburse me the difference because of a communication breakdown but have now spoken to them. They reimbursed me for my inspection (above and beyond what I was expecting) and explained why some things were not added to my inventory. While the main inspection was done very well and we have only found a few small things, they are not the big items they look at and they are covered under our home warranty. I would reccommend this company for their dedication of standing behind their product and the overall quality of their work.

Great home inspector, they were extremely thorough in their examination of the property. Excellent attention to detail.

We used this service on our home purchased a decade ago and the report served as a guide for thing to fix and maintain around our house the whole time. I have it at the ready even after all these years.

Now as we are looking to buy a new house we used this service again. Wayne was friendly and knowledgeable. He answered many questions and didn’t rush us.

The most amazing aspect was that he had a massive 60+ page report with pictures ready for us later that day, even though he has other inspections after ours. I realize they use a tool to help generate the report even while they do the inspection, but even taking that into account it was impressive.

He was very thorough and his walk-through was pitched at a level I could understand without glossing over the details.he gave a frank assessment of his views and provided helpful guidance. Our inspector Ash was methodical and very calm. He was able to provide the clients with a printed report on site which they really appreciated. He took time to explain the various key elements of the property and what ongoing maintenance might be required. He complimented the unit on things that were updated and/or had been well cared for which gave the clients confidence in their decision to purchase. Following the inspection I received a call from the listing realtor saying the garage door was now off the hinges. I had a condo inspection done with Wayne along with my property president and she said out of all these years, Wayne was the one who spent the most time and was the most thorough with the inspection. He even checked the boiler room, mechanical room and even got roof access to get it inspected. Although not the cheapest inspector around, he is certainly the best. Our family ultimately purchased the condo. Our strata even praised our inspector for doing such a good inspection and also inspecting the mechanical, boiler room and roof. Other inspectors did not do this. Strata even asked if they could have a copy of our report so they could get the minor things in the common areas fixed before they become worse! Wayne does a very good job explaining all the issues and related costs. He even goes above and beyond to explain what kind or repairs or maintenance could be needed next 10+ years. As you can see from all the other reviews, Wayne was highly recommended by many.
