A great choice for a stay in Golden. Almost sad to review in case people start booking it so I can't anymore: D
Compared to places that are similarly priced and reviewed terribly, this place is a breath of fresh air. On one hand, that's literal, the place was clean enough to satisfy my neat-freakness upon entry. Beyond that, the furnishings were all intact and useful, if not 5-star (but you're not paying for that). The kitchen is functional and had everything we needed to not eat out all week. The bathroom had sufficient water pressure and hot+cold water, and again was clean. The bedroom was nice and comfortable, and even had a gear room behind it for us to stash all our stuff, which was very handy.
The internet was "acceptable", a bit spotty and slow for simultaneous streaming of HD content, but enough to google stuff and plan activities during your vacation, though I'd not work remotely from here.
The best part is the ownership/service, though. They were super responsive, I had a friend come into town to carpool with us, and they responded to my request to let them park in our spot within minutes. When we came back the night before check-out super late and tired from assiniboine, they even were nice enough to give us an extra hour to check-out, which was very helpful and generous. I will likely be back
