Pirate Adventures

We recently attended a children's birthday party with Pirate Adventures on Granville Island and it was an absolute blast! From start to finish, it was an unforgettable experience. The adventure began with an engaging and interactive story that captivated all the kids. Our daughter and her friends were transformed into little pirates with face paint and costumes which they provided. The pirate actors did a fantastic job keeping all the children and adults engaged throughout the voyage with entertaining games, stories and songs! The ship's crew showed patience and enthusiasm especially with a group of energetic kids. The smiles on all the kids' faces at the end said it all- this was a birthday party experience they would never forget!

Have always seen this from the shore, but it was even better than expected finally on board. They really catered to both adults and kids alike so that everyone got something out of it. Truly memorable.

This cruise was so much fun! Salty Jim, Silver, and Captain Crusty did a lovely job of creating a great experience and I loved the puns.
I've wanted to do this for years and it did not disappoint. Definitely check it out if you have the chance:)

Never recommend. They didn’t do that their show well. They didn’t turn on music for kids birthday dance. They are rude and unprofessional.
You waste your money and time when take this one.

All ages fun on a pirate sail, cast were excellent. You'll leave with a big smile on your face.

We were told to come thirty minutes before the tour started, but there was nothing to do but stand around the entrance. The man who we talked to was very aggressive.

Amazing actors! The guy in the main shop could use a lesson on customer service though. He seemed to be frustrated and yelled at us twice for doing absolutely nothing.

We had such a great time today! We came with my sons friends (3,5 and 6 year olds) and they all had so much fun.

The actors put on a great show that is also enjoyable for adults. Salty Jim, Jagger Jones, Crusty and I forget the other Pirate’s name, were all amazing.

Really cute and fun for the price. Very good pirate actors, lots of gear if you want to dress up, complimentary pirate names and temporary tattoos. We took the fireworks trip which gave a good dose of pirate shenanigans and a wonderful view of the fireworks from a less busy side of the perimeter. They do very well to position you close to the marked boundary without having other boats obstructing the view.

They double booked us and only notified us weeks after the original booking.they were then incredibly restrictive about when we could possibly rebook.they don't have a cancelation policy covering double bookings, stay away

Super fun experience renting the boat for a private party! We were able to bring our own food and drinks, all around excellent adult vibes (surprising for what's usually billed as a kids activity).

Great experience. The pirates (salty Jim and fritz) were great! They had great energy and kept us all entertained throughout. Highly recommend.

So much fun! Not only the kids are having fun, parents enjoyed it so much! Totally would recommend

We booked a family cruise for my grandson's 4th BeDay had such a marvy time. We all were given piratey names. Salty Jim played the villainy pirate in a fun, interactive way and involved everyone on the ship. Captain Iron Fist was a scowly pirate and Stinky Pete was such a good sport getting swamped with the water cannons. There was a treasure chest, dancing, theatrics and more!
Recommended for everyone!

Pirate Adventures was great! The staff went above and beyond to make the trip memorable for everyone. Our group of adults had a fantastic acting like kids for an evening.

We had a great experience at Pirate Adventures today attending a birthday party! The children were thrilled, we got lucky with the weather, the boat was very authentic and the team made every effort to engage the guests. We will definitely come again!

We Booked the Sunset Sailing for September 11. It was amazing. The crew Jim Salter, Patch and the Captain were so engaging, accommodating, funny Made it so relaxing and fun. The music so we could all dance was awesome sing and dance along. This is an affordable cruise. Absolutely love that we bring our own snacks and drinks.
Picked up some cool souviners in there store which is also very affordable.

Highly, highly recommend we are definitely going to Sail again with the Black Spirit and Crew.

Great experience with energetic staff who never stopped entertaining. I went with some co-workers and didn't really know what to expect, but Pirate Adventures really went above and beyond with their program. It was a fun time and I highly recommend for anyone to go (this includes kids and kids at heart).

It was such a great experience with these wonderful people. The owner and the crew were so great! They made our day! Although, there were some misunderstanding about my birthday package, Igore the owner finally convinced me. The crew, especially Captain Crust and James were rock stars They are so nice professional and so flexible. I really appreciate all their wonderful service! Totally recommended and will go over again and again to enjoy this wonderful cruise!

Thank you so much for this amazing adventure! We had searched high and low to come up with an outdoor bit of fun to celebrate together and this was EXACTLY what we needed. I know that your specialty is kids parties, but this group of mostly silly adults had so much fun! And so beautiful to see Vancouver from a new perspective.
