The chocolate baklava wasn't bad I'd stick with the original. Bit too pricey for what it is.

The pistachio cheesecake was creamy and nice but don't expect a pistachio flavour.
Pistachios are expensive so don't expect this to cost the same as your Safeway cake.

Had the Turkish coffee which was nice but I'd stick with their drip coffee.

The girl working Friday evening was super friendly.and cute.

Had the turkish style coffee which was delicious. Had a kunafa and baklava to go with the coffee as a snack. I liked the coffee as it was nice and strong. The service was friendly and the care was nice and quiet. Seems like most of the other customers came on their own to have a quiet afternoon break like me. Nice place to try something different aside from your regular coffee shop offerings.

Just not good enough. Came here for lunch and ordered a beef sandwich, latte, and lemon cheesecake. Paid, sat down, and then was told there was no beef. Requested the chicken. No chicken, either. On a Saturday at 2 pm, all that was available were cheese and vegetarian. Ordered the grilled cheese sandwich. 15 minutes later, got unmelted brie and black olives on a warm, buttered hotdog bun. If you're going to make something this simple, in downtown Vancouver, the ingredients and execution have to be perfect. They were very far from acceptable. The latte was thin, but tasted alright. The coffee bean was nothing special, which is disappointing for a cafe. I might expect coffee like this from a 3-star hotel restaurant. The cheesecake looked pretty enough, but was very bland and somehow also bitter. Not tart or sweet, and it barely tasted like cheesecake.just bitter. If you're in the area, spend the extra $5 and go somewhere better, like Trees, Breka, or Artigiano. I don't expect to see this business still open in a year, if they don't correct their shortcomings.

Hidden Gem. Kunefe was descent not too sweet or not too dry.there is different sweets available as well. Berkay was really helpful for selections. There is parking lots available around location.

I went here for their kunafa and was not disappointed!
Big kunafa contains cheese while the small one doesn't. Ordered the small one and it was great:)
Also had their karak tea, which has i think a bit of turmeric in it (?), first time I had that kind and yeah I love it!

Amazing desserts. I tried Pistachios cheesecake. It was delicious. Amazing staff specially Johnathan did great job. The debit card machine was not processing my card and in cash, I was short by $0.20. He did not let me embarrass and give me discount of that amount. Thanks buddy. Really appreciated!

I’ve been to this cafe a couple of times. I loved the cheesecake and cookies, but Pide was at least 2 days old. I ordered to go, and they warmed it. By the time I took it to the office, it got cold and turned to a rock. Couldn’t eat. I’ll come again for sure because they serve Turkish tea but won’t have pide again.

I went to pistachio cafe with my friends and the servers was Amazing they answered all my questions and all their desserts are in house made so they always fresh and tasty! All my friends loved the place and the owners are super friendly! I will definitely be back and I would recommend this place for everyone especially those who need a place to study or work

Tasteful sweets, I tried the rice pudding and pistachio cheesecake and they were awesome. Iraqi tea that was served in a pot came with nice Turkish glasses

I liked the small Kanufe, it is served warm and it's the best desert in cold weather!
Service was good too
The cake was good too!

Nice and cozy place. The staff are nice but there were only 2 people to prepare the coffee, be the cashier and serve. We had to wait 20 minutes for a beverage to go. The reason for my 3 stars review is that the place is so nice and sophisticated but there were zero vegan options: (if I come back and there are options for me, I will definitely change my review and put more stars

I was excited to try their Kunafe and left disappointed. The small piece costed almost $6 so bit pricey and for that price I was expecting a good Kunafe. Found out that it was just sweet vermicelli and nothing else. There was no cheese in the middle. Don't know how they justify $6 for some thing so small and without the main ingredient. The coffee was ok. 2 stars because it has good ambience otherwise Kunafe is not a kunafe without cheese or cream and there was neither

I tried the pistachio cheesecake, baklava and Mamul pastries.
They were all delicious, not very sweet and you could tell they were made with fine ingredients.
Highly recommend it if you want to taste some middle eastern sweets.
Beautiful and cozy decorations
Just outside is a bit sketchy at nights with homelesses

It warms my heart to see little dessert shops like this, not within a fancy hotel, not having a Michelin chef, just an owner who loves to bake and create. Pistachio is a small shop hidden away off a busy street. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their pistachio cake and the special chai. Not overly sweet but definitely creamy. The owner and the worker were both very friendly. You can tell that they love this shop and the food they make.

It's open till late, good for work or chat. Wide options of sweets. Nice interior decor.

The cafe looks great visually. It has a good vibe. The seats are nice and comfy. It’s a pretty good place if you want to hang out with friends for an hour or so.
I enjoyed the Turkish coffee. I’m not sure if brewing Turkish coffee with cardamom is usual or not but it was different, warm, and pleasant.
I strongly suggest the rice puddings.
Here the things I didn’t like:
- The food wouldn’t give you a good experience. We had the cheese and the beef options and they just weren’t remotely good. They were heated in the microwave so the the bread will be soft and non-crispy. There are other places in Vancouver making the same dishes fresh in the oven.
- The Nutella cheesecake was mediocre. I don’t complain but it wasn’t special. Maybe I should’ve gone with other options. Pistachio maybe?
In general, it was a good one-time experience. If you go there, try Turkish coffee, rice pudding, and another cheesecake. If you’re looking for a good Turkish “food” experience, I would not suggest it.

Love the latte art, the decor, the chill and positive vibe, and especially the #1 cheesecakes!

My experience here was phenomenal! The atmosphere and vibe I felt was calming and smooth. Everything I ordered was fresh and made to perfection. I would recommend this cafe to everybody.

The Iraqi tea set was really beautiful, particularly the jar containing sugar cubes. Great place to sit down and chat or study/work with the wifi.

Lovely middle eastern sweets, Turkish coffee, even had a musician playing a stringed instrument, but I don’t know what it’s called. 8pm on a Wed night.

I ordered Kunafa from them via UberEats, package was neatly packed, they also accepted my request to pack extra sugar syrup separately.

Loved the Kunafa <3 and their sweet gesture of leaving thank you not with smiles:)!

Cozy cafe with real middle eastern treats that can be tricky to find else where (helawt jibn anyone?). The San Sebastián cheesecake was delicious. Really enjoyed the Arabic and Turkish coffee but took a star off because the Arabic coffee was expensive for the small cup given. We expected a small pot to come with it for another serving the way the Turkish coffee comes out. Didn’t have time to inquire about it as we had a movie to catch but doesn’t seem right to pay $5 ish for a small cup. I’ll still come back regardless!
