Beautiful views! Easy trail for all. Bring a hat, some none shaded sections. If your a birdwatcher it's great for that.

The place is 5 star, but the access road from Middleton is 1 star. It really needs repair or repavement with many deep holes for regular sedans to access it.

Insanely beautiful place to go. Lots of wildlife - bears, coyotes, birds, ducks, geese, herons are all very common here.

There are almost NO facilities here. No garbage cans - so you will need to pack out any garbage you bring in. No washrooms. Just a grassy (and frequently muddy) dyke trail along Pitt River towards Pitt Lake. (Pitt Lake picnic area is closed and the washrooms/garbages appear to be closed as well.)

Parking is on the side of the road. Road to this reserve is paved but rough - bumpy with potholes.

This is a great escape for a easy walk with your dog. Great viewing of wildlife with lots of different birds to see. Great wife and flat trails for the whole family. There are a few bugs to contend with depending on the time of day. The Sandhill Cranes nesting areas close certain trails from March 15th to August 15th. Enjoy the outdoors.

Amazing bird watching area. Trails are relatively easy as long as you don't mind long distances.
