We went to buy pizza slices at 9: 30pm (they close at 10pm). We didn't feel welcome. The employee serving was totally distracted and singing along to a Rock metal playlist (totally childish). The other two employees, tall with round glasses, were polite and welcoming Thank you for that

She didn't ask if we needed tissues, sauce, extra drinks, heated pizza slice or anything else. We were not pleased with the service. I will think twice before ordering from Pizza Garden New West and will share my experience

This is my favorite pizza garden in the whole Vancouver area, the best here is the ambience and the service.

Just ordered here for my first time and had to write a review. Their Capricciosa transported me and hubby straight to Rome, one of the best pizzas we ever had! So fresh, so good. My kids were also very happy with their cheese one, they loved how light the pizza base was and the crunchiness of the crust, couldn't agree more. Not to mention this was a delivery expected to take 45mins but it arrived 25mins after I ordered online. Definitely on our favourite list of places in New west now! Thumbs up pizza, thumbs up for customer service!

Charging 8 dollars for 2 slices of super thin, low amount toppings, and burn pizza. This place used to be amazing and not any more. They expect you tip on takeout? 18% lowest amount option. I waited 5 mins to be asked what I wanted. Honestly walked out.

They have the best staff! Begum, Kerem, Omer and Alper are sooo sweet! And definitely try out their Carne piccante pizza! It’s the definition of heaven loved every bit of that pizza definitely Check this place out

They are charging around $25 for a 14" pizza that has a thin burnt base with inadequate amount of ingredients. I don't know how can this place survive with so many decent pizza joints around. Another thing to consider if you are ordering delivery from here is that, they don't have any security seal on the pizza box so you better hope you get a good delivery driver or else.

This review will change to 5 stars once Pizza Garden fixes their Uber Eats ordering. Previously you could change sauce, cheese etc, but it's been removed. I notified them, they'd and they said they would fix it.but nothing.pure laziness on their part. Please fix it, then I will update my review.

This is no longer the same Pizza Garden that made them famous 10 years ago. The original owner is long gone and the quality died with it.

Staff was very careless they changed some else payment and recharge the balance again. Very confusing. I ask them to add white source but they did tomato. VERY DISAPPOINTED service. I guess staff is not happy working

Went here and got ignored. When i walk into a establishment i expeect to be welcomed. I stood there for 2 minutes and tgen walked out. Never again

Decent neopolitan pizza. I recommend getting a large as the crust is very thin and it's easy to eat a whole pizza in one sitting if you are hungry. Large pizza was around $25, and drinks were $2 per can. They have a lot of vegeterian options as well.

The dine in area is kind of smelly though so I wish they would clean the tables a bit better.

My first option normally if I'm in the area around lunchtime as I've always found their pizza enjoyable and is worth the premium. However, during my last visit here I noticed a number of flies buzzing around and it leaves me a little concerned about the overall cleanliness here.

Been a fan of this location for years but quality is declining sharply. Crust is now so thin, floppy and wet it can no longer be considered “Neapolitan”. The staff is nice but the crust is no longer enjoyable.

Go upstairs and get better treatment from fresh slice, and it's very dirty in pizza garden, employees were rude barely wanted serve our table of 5, had to ask them to wipe their tables, when they did they used a dirty dry rag to push the old food off the table, we had to get napkins and wipe it ourselves, the napkins were dirty, do not recommend, kitchen must be dirty if they can't clean their tables, tried to avoid serving the five of us, fresh slice upstairs is very clean and courteous service,

I had previously given this establishment five stars. My pizza was burned and I ordered it with sausage (it came on this particular pizza). They called me and said they ran out of sausage and to order from a different Pizza Garden. Lol! I was sitting next store a Tim Hortons waiting. They could have just asked me if I wanted double pepperoni or a different topping. The people they hired here recently have no problem solving skills. I used to get a free sauce aswell. Last two times I didn't get any. This place has really declined to what it once was. I won't be ordering from here anymore. Sorry not worth my time!

Amazing place! The pizza is way healthier, delishous and HUGE. The only problem is the price, it's pretty expensive so it's not a thing I get often.

What happened? Recently, garden pizza had changed their recipe under new management, and i have to say, its nothing but disappointing. It used to be so good. The dough feels like cardboard, hard, tasteless and you can chew forever. Please bring back the OLD RECIPE! La Pache Pizza used to be second on my list after Pizza Garden, but now you can't even compare the two. La Pache (on Main St), similar Pizza shop, cheaper (-$0.50), and more delicious. The dough speaks for itself. Give it a try, if you miss the old Pizza Garden.

Oof! Don't think I'll be getting slices from here anymore. Smaller slices and not fresh. Sorry - nobody wants to buy that runt pepperoni slice that's been under a tanning light for god knows how long lol.

Quick bite outside new west skytrain station. They nake awesome pizza. Love their garlic bread.

Great pizza aI would come here frequently because I live near the place. I would recommend to try if they want a high quality quick slice.

It was our favorite pizza by slice place for years and years. Recently they moved and serve beer, which is a great option. However, the pizza quality has declined, unfortunately. In my original review I gave 5 stars, now downgrading it to 3 stars. Slices are so uneven, sometimes the size of two neighbor slices can vary by 50%. Also, the crust side (the one not covered with cheese) is getting bigger and bigger and can reach an inch or two.

Used to love this place, the quality has degraded significantly now. Very bad pizza, I think they changed the recipe of the dough. It was better before they moved to this location.

I ordered a pizza today and it took exactly 1.5 hours to get here and when it got here it was cold. That being said, their cold pizza is still better than hot pizza that you'd get from other pizzeria chains. But it still isn't acceptable when you have to pay 4 dollars for delivery and I paid for the tip.

To summarize: pizza good, delivery bad.

It's high end low end pizza. Like the fancy pizza hut.

Food is good but nowhere near worth the money charged. With what's charged there is plenty of local places with better quality and price.

The spicy meatballs are just meatballs soaked in Frank's red hot which is just. A surprise.

Our go-to pizza joint in New West. Whether you’re getting a slice on the go or a whole pie, the taste and quality is always consistent. I love their crust - it’s got the right amount of chew while still being crispy. The service is quick and friendly.

Ordered a pizza and garlic bread from here last night. It took 1.5 hours to be delivered and when called they just said they are really busy and the driver is a few minutes away. 20 minutes rolled around and finally at 9.30 pm it's here and I am super hungry! Another utterly disappointment! The order was wrong.we had requested mushrooms on half (the odd stray one is ok, I can pick it off). Unfortunately the pizza was COVERED in them. Lucky we had ordered garlic bread although this was a lot more garlicky than they usually make. I was so frustrated, after an 11 hour shift on my feet, I was looking forward to not cooking.

I ordered and they made me wait for 20 minutes while my order was ready and they served customers that came after me. Apparently that guy forgot what i ordered and i even payed in advance. I like the taste of these pizza otherwise i would never come here.

Great pizza. Excellent if you want an affordable lunch or dinner when you are by the station. Staff are always lovely

Ordered 3 pizzas at 7: 26pm (#3563) is and 2 hours later no response. All 12+ calls to the store is answered with msgs that sound like they disconnected their phone.

Yesterday was my first experience with pizza garden in Brenywood mall.
Not ready dont start. Drinks without price. Covid, everybody touching bottles cans and placing it back when they understand that price of cola more then pizza slice. Staff not trained no management. Menu sign for whom for your staff, no possible to read. Plates are too small, each slice of pizza they are placing on top of each other, its premade pizza
but you have to reheat it in proper way no rush no run no serve 3 customers in the same time. Finally it was cold not tasty and thrown to the garbage newer will be back

Good pizza, not your regular chain stuff, nice taste, but vegetarian options are not always available if you want slices

If you want fire oven pizza in the area, this is the spot to come to. They have a potatoes pizza that is absolutely delicious! Staff are always very friendly and welcoming!

I can't, in good conscience, say that I am "dissatisfied" with Pizza Garden when critiquing the restaurant as a whole because generally they're satisfactory.

Is there a more dissatisfied word to use other than "satisfactory"? Not my intention!

I want to say that ANY points I may want to take away in regards to the food and such are completely won back by the service and the high level of customer service and dedication to everyone's enjoyment. Every member of their team deserves an award within itself. 10/10 all the way.

The pizza is lackluster, too similar and actually tastes sad. I know that's a strange thing to say but it's the truth. It all tastes either exactly like the next piece or BBQ sauce.

The serious gamechanger for me was a box of the most atrocious, bland, improperly undercooked and, again, atrocious calamari. It was an experience so awful that I have since been unable to return to the restaurant.

But again, the staff are what will bring me back. It will however be after my stomach has settled down a bit after the "Calamari Calamity" that was my first restaurant experience since the start of this.covid *clears throat* thingy.

Great pizza, terrible service. The person running cash didn't make an attempt to acknowledge me waiting to order, nor the man in the wheelchair next to me. Never coming back

Cold dry pizza. I used to visit the location on commercial drive and it was good. I ordered a pizza costing over $30 and when picked up it was cold, dry and seemed old. I should have taken a hint that it would be an old pizza since the guy on the phone said ready in 15 mins.

We’re new to the area and ordered a large pizza for delivery from Uber Eats. I was hesitant from some of the reviews, but thankfully our pizza arrived quickly and in great condition! Warm and delicious, absolutely worth it!

A place I really want to love, but man they make it hard.

- Each Pizza is supposed to come with dipping sauce, but only if you ask for it. (I'm not sure how much money you guys are saving with this tactic, but just put the dipping sauce with each pizza without having to ask for one)
- Pizza Toppings have also become chintzy as of late.
- Today we had ordered a Calabria and found a giant piece of sausage on one of the slices. First thought was weird they aren't being chintzy, but upon a closer look it was sausage with a large portion of casing still attached.

I wish you guys the very best, but please care a bit like you used to.

Pizza garden, Ok the pizza was delicious. That’s not what this rating is about. The delivery driver handed us these Christmas cards which I assumed were coupons for pizza garden. It was a religious pamphlet for anchor Baptist church. I am not anti religion what so ever everyone has their own beliefs but did not expect a delivery driver to be pushing religion on me when ordering pizza.

Came in to grab sliced pizza.
Very clean and well organized location.
They follow all the Covid restrictions.

Have a nice seating area to sit and enjoy good food.

Pizza tasted fresh and I must say the crust was very good.

Prices are decent since the slices are very big, larger than other places.

Veggie pizza tasted really great and the cheese pizza was perfect as well.

Staff are very friendly!

I made an order for pick up for 2 large pizzas and I showed up after 30 minutes for the pickup when they said. Neither pizza was ready, they were still putting toppings on 1 of my pizzas still. Rather than calling me and explaining I sat there for 15 minutes waiting for my pizzas to be cooked. Extremely poor service, no compensation for their error.

Accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant with my friends when we stepped out of the sky train station. The smell of the place was sooo mouth watering we had to go inside to check it out! We ordered an 18” Margherita (20.25$ - see image) and an order of linguine with prawns ($16.00). The pizza was delicious, and my favourite part about it was definitely the dough: thin, airy, and crispy. The pasta was pretty mediocre, but definitely not bad at all for its price.

My only complaint is the tap in the men’s washroom - it’s design is a little impractical. (Or maybe I’m just really really bad at washing hands)

Best pizza in New Westminster, recently moved into this location from their small store above the New Westminster skytrain station. Located beside Tim Horton's. Also now serves craft beer and wine.

Our fave pizza place in burnaby and new west - but just disappointed last nite when our fave large pizza came in super salty! We couldn’t eat past 1 slice each. Sad this happened to us on our last nite in BC. Hope it was a one off!

They recently moved to the location near Tim Hortons. Awesome location but a bit of an inconvenience because people get rained on a lot. Besides the logistics, they now serve BEER and other food. Lots of options now to choose from too! Like salad and such.

They have a very very big area now for parties and such. I will try to reserve for one of my events. I hope there's no extra charge. Their pizzas are still better than most places I have been to. A bit expensive but theirs have more flavour (this includes the metro one). Can't really compare them to any other place.

It does seem that they want to be like Boston pizza. But that means that their pizza quality might go bad. Hopefully that won't happen.

I was expecting the pizza to be mediocre as it is in a train station but I was pleasantly surprised. The dough is extremely good, its flavorful, crispy yet chewy, and not greasy or oily at all. It is also very reasonable priced and fast.

Before this pizza location was great every weekend I was taking my kids there to eat but now everything it’s been change, first the location and the second thing and the most important thing the pizza they are doing now very bad quality hopefully to get the good pizza again like before

Update: Pizza Garden offered us a free pizza to make up for this and it did indeed turn out better than the last time. Updating to 3 stars coz pizza was decent and points for caring about customers.

Initial review: Terrible pizza, completely burnt and hardly any cheese or meat. The wife and I were so hungry that we ate the burnt pizza and ended up going out again to eat something decent.

The pizza is amazing. Cooked in a fire burning oven and ready to serve slices or you can order your own pizza in 10-15 mins. Service is always quick and friendly. I will go back.

Daddy’s night to cook tonight. Got a couple large pizzas: chicken pesto, jalapeño beef. We really enjoyed both and if you are looking to try these, go ahead. Thought the beef would be spicy however that was not the case. The slices are big. Great texture. It may look light on toppings but we found there to be plenty of flavour. Nice selection, quality ingredients. If you are looking for cheap pizza, look elsewhere. Would recommend this place and will probably come back again. Enjoy!

March 7th update: Went back to the store on seeing the managements reply here on setting the record straight by giving me a free pizza so I went back and i got treated well, the employee apologized and gave me a yummyyyy ruchetta pizza too. So impressed with their gesture

Feb 28th: Horrible experience at pizza garden and will never eat here again. We just bought an XL pizza and the crust was completely burnt. Every slice tasted like char.
It was a take out order.we live only 100 metres away from the store but couldn't think of walking back to the store when we were so hungry.
Also, the XL pizza is not even close to feeling full after eating 4 slices each. Had no chicken on it either. Save yourself from this misery.
Update: I went to the store the same night one hour later and asked the employee why he packed a burnt pizza as take away order and he replied 'it happens sometimes' with a very unapologetic face.

Hit or miss.first time the pizza was great, just had one delivered and opened it up to see the crust burned black in spots.and mostly burned on the bottom of the crust.the diet coke was good though so 1 star for that.never ever again. If you send out something that looks like this then god knows what else you do

For me, this is the top by the slice joint in Lower Mainland. For the price and what it is, this place tops the list. Added to this, craft beer on tap! What a deal! 2 slices and a pint of your choosing for $11.25. Great selection of craft brews too.

Alright. I'm sitting here right now and I see a team of people making pizza together and enjoying it. This place is a by the slice franchise, but so what. It's good pizza and the staff are great to boot. Don't come in large groups during lunch hour, and you'll do just fine.

Great try on a thin crust Italian pizza. I've had better but this is a good choice if you don't have an authentic wood oven pizza place. Better than the buck a slice and other chains though. I would try another pie from here.

The pizza is really good when you sit down in store, but every time I take it to go they try and give it to me cold. When I ask to please heat it up, they barely heat it. By the time I walk back to school in 5 minutes, it's pretty much room temp again. You have a giant wood burning oven behind you, why are you giving out cold pizza right from the storefront?

I like everything about this place - from their flava loaded rustic style pizza to their light hearted and energetic staff.to them serving my fave local Steel&Oak pints! These folks have consistently made me feel appreciated anytime of the day.we don’t see this everywhere and so consistently! Kudos PG and thank you - I hope you can keep this up for our area of NW and southeast Burnaby boundary!

The pizza is pretty sub par at best.delivery time is terrible. I'll give them credit for discounting my order but 1.5 hours for my order. I strongly recommend picking it up or ordering elsewhere.
And presentation was some of the worst I have ever seen

Never ordered before, always walked in and bought slices. Will say that my walk in single slice experience has always been excellent.

Now on to delivery.

Had a problem with delivery, went in person to resolve it after some issues the next day after speaking with an employee who was terrible. Spoke to the manager and owner and everything was fine. Amazing service as usual, worked everything out without issues.

Excellent all around, highly recommend.

The women gave me a cold pizza slice. When I asked her to heat it up, she stuck it in the oven for maybe 10 seconds and passed it back to me. It was still cold and not very good. A whole lot of crust, not much pizza

Walk in is fine. Delivery is terrible.
First time I ordered, their machine was messed up and the driver had to come back the next day. Second (and last) time was today. 1 hour and 30 minutes to get a cold pizza deliverered to me, and I live like 5 blocks from their place. The pizza tasted like cardboard and they sent the wrong soda.
