Pizza Pietra

The woman at the counter barely smiles at you. You feel like you need to beg for her service. Pizza was so dry and she didn't even give a cup of water. Everything is overpriced here. They should go and see some other pizza restaurants and how they serve to their customers. If they continue like that, they will lose their business soon.

Absolutely shocking quality. Look at these specs of brown 'basil'. What a joke. Sauce tastes like a jar from Safeway. Total garbage. Also, I think they lied about the cheese, and that fior di latte was replaced with cheap mozza.

Out of the oven, delicious! Not a fast food type of pizza. Reasonable price. Amazing taste. Key additional benefit: there is plenty of space inside and the space is actually beautiful! So when it rains- or not you will enjoy it. They also have a baker who does a great job with pastries and high quality desserts. There are custom wall drawings inside and it is a kid/ family friendly place. Check them out!

The couple who runs the pizza place are sweet. The cheesecake was made by the lady herself and it was light, not too sweet and amazing even without the berries sauce. Avoid the caprese salad, the potatoes wedges were nice enough and the pizza slices are huge. The pizzas in the images are Medium size half and half, each pizza containing four slices. The baklava ice cream sandwich was delicious, another homemade treat, but a little too sweet for my palate.

The ratio between the crust and the chicken. Well judge it for yourself but I was not very impressed. Somehow I've got a feeling that many other photos are staged. Sparse ingredients except the spinach. That suppose to be a chicken pizza. Big disappointment.

Amazing thin crust authentic Italian style pizza! Super fresh and lovely ingredients as well as the best cheese cake I’ve ever tasted! I highly highly recommend this place to anyone:)

Unfortunately they have started doing what some other cheap pizza places do. The toppings never reach the crust and you get inches of toppingless pizza that is basically toast.

Very thin delicious pizza! Reminds me of my grandmother's pizza. I tried the Peperoni and the cheese and they were both delicious. The lady working was extremely polite and friendly.

Some of the best pizza around! Fresh ingredients, great dough, great tomato sauce, great mozzarella. Prices are very reasonable for the sizes of the pizzas, they offer deserts as well. Staff is awesome! There is seating inside as well as a couple chairs outside during the summer season. If you’re in poco I highly recommend Pietra, you won’t be left disappointed. My personal favourite is the simple margharita.

All the foods and the desserts are wonderful and everyone there is very kind and welcoming.
The Capresse which is a vegetarian pizza with a great crust topped with tomatoes, greens, mozzarella cheese, olive oil and pesto sauce is my favorite. Highly recommended!

The owner is amazing. She suggested some great options and pizza were fantastic. Definitely a hidden gem in PoCo DT

Thin crust pizza just like the ones we had in Rome. Yummy. Pricier than pizza hut and green olive but worth it.

Must visit this place! Great food and great service! Their cheesecake is by far the tastiest I've had.

I just had the best burnt basque cheesecake! The flavour is well balanced and the texture was perfect!
Their Hawaiian Pizza is a must try! Will definitely be back for more.

Pizza tasted good, nice thin crust, only downside was my large pizzas were only cut into 4 slices when 8 would have been more reasonable.

Wife bought pizza for lunch, there are 2 slices leftovers — I assumes they were for me, but I was not home. The pizza looks ‘delicious’, it is 2AM that I getting hungry. Microwaved for 30 seconds, damn, they are best pizza I ever had! I absolutely want more! Anyway, more pizza today.

We had it today for our family dinner. Everyone is a picky critic but this is the one place that everyone really enjoyed. The beef pide with garlic sauce is amazing! The cheese cake and turkish almond cookies were a great treat with chai! Everything is house made and was very enjoyable! The customer service was just as great as the food!

First time coming and trying Pietra Pizza. We were searching for the best Pizza Napoli (with anchovies) in our area. Came with a recommendation from a local Facebook Group. Owner was super kind, I was waiting for our pizza with our daughter, and he gave a huge slice of prawn pizza for her. Pizza Napoli was awesome! His small gesture goes a long way, we'll be back!:)

I was really encouraged by all the great reviews for this place so I was quite disappointed on how mediocre the pizza really was. I travel a lot and I’ve had pizza in Italy many times (including Naples) and the pizza I had picked up at Pietra was far from being authentic Italian. The crust was tough and chewy and dry at the same time. The toppings on one of the pizzas were dry and poorly distributed, the other was more plentiful but amounted to the “meh” taste. Italian pizzas are actually pretty simple with just a few ingredients but the secret is in the dough and the quality of what goes on it.
I am really baffled by the number of 5 stars reviews for this place.

Amazing wood fired pizza. Best crust in the entire lower mainland. Excellent service and they offer some fantastic desserts. Highly recommend going here. A+

I was craving real pizza and went today after seeing the amazing reviews. I was very pleasantly surprised by not only the amazing pizza but by the cleanliness of the store and the wonderful staff. The pizza was fresh, crisp in all the right areas and had a chew where it should. It didn't have a million things piled up and didn't make me feel gross after eating it. I highly recommend the Margarita Pizza, its my absolute favourite. The store was spacious, clean and you can see the oven bake the pizza. The staff was super friendly and welcoming and Cristina is an ABSOLUTE gem. Definitely will be back for more!

Thin crust pizza baked in stone oven. It was very delicious. Medium is 14inches, XL is 16inches. Slice pizza is 3$. They haven’t put the decorations and menu on the walls yet but it looks very bright and inviting. Covid precautions are in place sufficiently.

This is a great place for authentic Roma-style pizza in PoCo. Pizzas made by Award-winning Italian chef. The dough was great, perfect balance of soft and crunchy, great-tasting ingredients and many different kinds of tastes. Delicious! Amazing Italian pizza!

I liked this new restaurant and I recommend for everyone. Especially pastrami supreme was very delicious. You should try all of them.

The pizza is awesome, stone oven makes it two times tastier. It was a little bit over cooked but that wasn't a big deal. The restaurant is in a good location and the staff are friendly. The restaurant is clean and the staff are following the covid rules.

It is hard to find around here a stone oven baked pizza. I prefer them over other pizza stones. Pizza Pietra is a new pizza store with delicious and fresh pizzas. And it is %100 halal which is took my attention. Store is super clean and spacious. It is my new stop to come and have pizzas with my family. Thank you guys, welcome to our neighborhood.
