This place smells. There is no proper air conditioning. The air is so bad. Management must do something

If I could give negative star, I would have. It’s a trash place and planet fitness is a big fraud. I canceled my gym membership on 3 days before it’s renewal, they still charged next month fee onto my account. So basically it’s of no use for me. On top of the monthly there’s a yearly charge. I don’t get it They have trash membership plans. There are way better places forks. Please do not waste your time, energy, and money.

Staff is not cooperative. Their behaviour was not good. Machines are limited. People need to wait for starting their exercises. Limited space with too much crowd.

Being a black card holder booked an appointment with gym instructor twice which get canceled just two hours before (on short notice) They do not respect value of time of their members.

They charged me 2 times in the same year for the yearly 50. On top of the regular monthly transaction. Told me they would refund the money after 10 days its been 3months so make sure you check your statements. I also followed up with them 3 times reassuring me they will refund it.

Lobby chairs are not comfortable to sit…. Also there should be forearm curl machine here… rest is ok.

None of the PF rules are enforced by staff, people not wiping down machines, people wanting to work in during my sets on certain machines. I guess you get what you pay for.

This is the most annoying pf club. There are two massage chairs for black card members. On 18th May i was using one and other one used by pf staff guy. He started playing some punjabi serial in his phone on high volume in speaker. It is very annoying since its a small room. Even though i causally requested to use headset or reduce volume, he never concerned about this. Massage is to get relaxed but if Plant fitness staff itself doing like this shows their attitude towards customers.

The facility really smells like body odour due to not being cleaned properly. At least vent it out by leaving the doors open.

Great place to workout. Almost has all the workout machines. If your looking for the essentials in machines you’ll find it here.

The worst customer service, 3 times I booked an personal training appointment and this is the 3rd time my appointment was cancelled because the trainer was sick. The staff just stand there doing absolutely nothing. I asked them if they could reschedule the appointment for me, and they keep telling me that you can do it on the app, but they haven’t showed me how to. This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star, should be 0 stars. The place is always crowded and the staffs are so rude. Absolutely the worst gym to go to.

Worst place to go to. No space for exercise stacked ro the ceiling. All machines are busy doesn't matter what time you go there. Reception don't care about your concerns. Used to be a good gym. Not anymore.

Some broken machines regularly dirty near the windows by the machines and women's bathroom over the course of 6 months still has one broken mirror and now one missing soap container pins to be able to change the weights are missing on several machines. Otherwise this gym is perfect and I love it.

Very bad equipment maintenance. Some them can be seen in photos. These r like this from times and seems like will be like this forever.

I usually do not write anything bad about anybody or anybody’s business but this place is worst. Me and my husband was working out on August 2,2022 and we noticed front driver side window was smashed completely and tried to steal.

I asked the front desk person if i can see the footage but she said come tomorrow morning, manager will help with that.

I called next morning to talk to manager but front desk person said they can’t connect to the manager as they have nothing to do with this issue.

Nobody is helping us they are just trying to avoid the situation like nothing happened. This is my worst customer experience. I wish i could give them no star.

Staff is rude show no respect toward customers, full of ego and attitude even gym state they have no tolerance toward attitude and ego.no rules followed no proper spacing or enforced rules.

Gym is fine and equipments are okay but receptionist and staff at this place after 11pm are worst most of the time they are not on the desk or anywhere to be found or mostly on video call or with friends on gym area

Great gym, just started coming here! It's a large space with plenty of machines, at my previous gym you'd have to wait for certain machines, but they don't have that problem here! It's very clean, and well taken care of inside.

I visited there it was my first day, I asked the receptionist where is the locker room he just show me some hand signs of go straight and take first left, but at first left there is some other room not a locker room than I have to ask a lady who was there as a public user.
The staff is not helpful.

Just recently joined the gym. The potential for the gym is quite there but the staff don’t seem to care for your well being and don’t feel the sense of hospitality that you’d receive in other gyms. As I was checking in, the staff at the reception were busy playing in their phones and didn’t even acknowledge nor greet the guests checking in while scanning the QR codes. No one really comes to a gym seeking for finesse but that’s what would make it a wholesome experience which is where PF is lacking at. In other aspects the gym has good ventilation and social distancing while working out has been kept to its best and a lot of the customers have common sense while working out on maintaining this distance. Equipments are clean and there are quite a lot of cleaning stations to wipe down. Besides the Customer experience there’s no other aspect I’d like to point out.
Hopefully these issues are addressed and taken care off.

Great location, staff are friendly and helpful. One if the cleanliness location gym around, could use a bit more equipment.

Overcrowded gym, huge lineups for machines, no one wears a mask and all the machines here are hardly clean.i’m assuming because it sees so much traffic.they compromise on hygiene and cleanliness overall.not the best gym but its the closest so i go here. Health Canada should take a note of this and see what can be done with the mask policy.no one seems to follow it.

Pretty good to workout, but the changerooms can get pretty dirty (paper towels everywhere). And often trash out front.

Very busy. Barely anyone wearing masks while walking around and reduced sanitizing stations (if they aren't reduced, they are not very well stocked). Evenings not a great time to go. Surrey location in Newton.

Came in from out of town.found the gym was clean and also was mask optional. Machines were being cleaned after use. Also went in the morning at 9am was not too bad.

Evening staff is not professional. 0 communication skills and most crowded gym. There are almost 10 people in the line to use one machine.

Really great gym. Super clean. The entire team is super great. I always see them on the floor cleaning. Great responsive management team as well!

To many people go to this gym it’s allways so crowded even when the crowd meter is at its lowest there at still a lot of people there that’s the only thing that needs to get changed other wise it’s a great gym

After 20 days of joining on PF Black membership: 1-star
If you do not need to interact with the staff then the place is Fine.
Otherwise, it's pathetic if you need to use any facility which requires staff intervention, e.g. Cleaning practices, or if you are joining PF Black membership wherein you want to request staff for activation of services.

The trainers Peter and Whil are absolutely amazing. Love that free training classes are included in all of the membership options! All of the staff are super helpful and the gym is SO CLEAN. Would give 10 stars if I could.

This gym used to be decent and convenient but lately their staff hires have been terrible. I recently saw them harassing an individual because his mask came off while working out. I’m all for mask policies but it seemed like they were picking on certain people because dozens of people were walking around the gym maskless. By the end of the confrontation the staff and customer were verbally abusing each other. I’m a business owner personally and when I saw this I was pretty taken back because I wouldn’t stand for my staff abusing anyone even if the customer was in the wrong. Thank god gyms are opening up again and I can start going back to the YMCA. Would definitely not recommend this gym to anyone whose looking for a peaceful workout lol! Would give zero stars if I could!

Truly the best gym! No contracts, amazing monthly fees, lots of amenities that you can’t find anywhere else! The staff is super friendly and the booking system is easy to use now! I’m able to book appts easily always! I can’t recommend this gem enough! There is no better gym out there in the area!

Staff is very rude. Always on their phones and try to kick you out before your session is over. Will make excuses if you want to use the massage chairs. I escalated the issues to the corporate but they don’t either. ZERO STARS Choose different location.

They cancelled his account by doing his signature forgery. Please owner of this location, I want answer for this: Is this your policy of forgery? Consent or Will of member isnt required before cancellation? I witnessed everything and I am going to make sure this forgery matter will go to court and human rights department. I need answer about whats your part on this matter and what are your steps that you are taking? Really awful service

Rude stuff, don’t have customer skills
If u ask any question they answer in rude way and stare @u…they are always in reception area, talking really loud, instead they can do cleanup very unprofessional, due to covid they don’t even care to clean up.very upsetting to see this.

Evening staff is extremely unprofessional. They accused me of lying when I said I didn’t know the gym adopted a booking policy. Who accuses the paying customers of lying? Staff with little self control and patience do not belong in customer service jobs! The staff hires definitely need some customer service training and less training on the weights, because that’s all they seem to do, or walk around harassing the female customers! Extremely disappointed because I had a really good experience at the chilliwack location. Do not recommend to females or professionals who are looking for a incident free experience.

Hey, I am loving this gym still and my Friends seem to really enjoy it as well. I was happy to see a reservation system up and running now, helping with covid regulations.
I am pretty confused when it comes to how many sessions a week I'm allowed to reserve for? They do tend to fill up quite quickly.how far in advance do sessions open up for reservation?
Only two things I can say that need some attention is the bathrooms need air fresheners. They smell pretty bad some days.
The last thing is the tanning beds are in need of bulb replacements soon, staff on site said they haven't been serviced in quite awhile.
Other then those two things I honestly love going to PF and would recommend this location

All type of gym equipment's are present in this gym and customer service is nice and friendly. The main thing is that gym is clean and hygienic.

Love how clean and organized everything is. My only complaint is sometimes the men's bathroom scent fills the locker room and its off putting

The problem with this specific Planet Fitness is that their seems to be no communication. Reservations are fully booked at 4: 30am-6am and I call it to ask “if it’s low capacity can I still check in”, one work says “yes” and then I come in and they say I cant enter without reservation when it’s pretty much empty?

People book reservations all the time and then don’t show up and don’t get punished for it. Don’t even bother signing up if your gym hours are between 10am-9pm, worst run gym I’ve EVER been too, why am I paying $$ every month if I can’t even enter the gym?

Coming here is a legit waste of money and gas.

There was a customer executive named soumya, no sense on how to speak, rude customer service, i was doing exercise and she did not told me to do lower the music of my phone, but almost she was on a rudest level.zero or negative marks to her.

Love coming to this gym. Its super clean, comfortable, and I feel safe working out here even through the pandemic. Staff and management seem to really care about their members. They're always available to help when I'm not sure how to use a machine or just answer any questions I've had so far. Awesome company made even better by awesome staff! Keep up the good work guys!

Nice staff. Big open space and lots of equipment. Could see how it gets full quickly though during peak times. Stretch station should be bigger

Have space for exercise but not sadly most people don’t care about sensitizing the machine they just used, Masks and all.

Not a bad gym, has decent equipment. But, extremely rude and arrogant staff. If you ever have to ask them anything, they act like they don’t even care about giving a decent customer service experience to their clients. I just cancelled my membership today just because how rude one of their stuff members (I believe his name was Peter) was to me. Even when I cancelled, he just acted like he didn’t care at all about having my business in the first place. My friends who work out there have had similar bad experiences with the same guy as well. They are now planning on canceling their memberships as well but, I am sure the staff at Planet Fitness wouldn’t care about that at all! They are just there to fill in their hours. There are cheaper gyms out there with way better customer service!

Want to give MINUS stars but there is no such option.worst experience ever had.arrogant and rude guy front desk named PARDEEP. He has the most arrogant and worst attitude towards clients.been going there for almost 2 years.this is the first time had such a bad experience.made me think not to go there anymore at this location.

Not the friendliness staff and what I witnessed earlier this week just confirmed that. In the morning a male customer service rep handled a frustrated customer poorly. Although the customer was obviously getting mad the staff member was not empathetic at all and was very short with him. Customer threatened to cancel and the rep did not try to find a solution and responded quickly and said ok lets cancel your membership. As the argument continued he then cancelled his membership and said he was going ban the member and said bye bye. Thats funny how a staff member can take power like that and thinks he the manager and abuse the situation. Im not coming back to this location anymore.

Friendly and cheerful staff but the members of this gym have no respect for things especially during the pandemic right now. Don’t wipe the machines after using them, don’t social distance. Most members Hog machines for extend periods of time. Members dont have any consideration for others who wait to use the machines. They take their time on the machines even sit and scroll through social media or answer phone calls hogging the machine. This gym is excellent for beginners but it’s just not a good gym for experienced gym people.

Very toxic environment created by the employees. Makes you not want to go back every time you come in.

I've had numerous problems before but now with the covid restrictions I get threatened to be kicked out for not having a mask covering my nose after doing an intensive cardio set. There are people 5 meters from me, I am properly social distancing and i just so happened to finish a set and still at the equipment, as i'm heavily breathing a lady employee has the nerve to come over and tell me that if i dont have the mask on my nose next time she sees me it will be the last time I will be in the gym.

WIll be cancelling my membership and investing in a new gym. I do not recommend
