They make it hard and annoying I can't call and cancel my membership over the phone when I'm in a different province. No no they won't they require you to write a letter and mail it. Like this is the 21st century. Why can't I write a bloody email I'm sorry but you guys are terrible.

I really like this gym, and I've been to quite a few. The price is great for the quality of equipment. There is lots of space and I like the different rooms that facilitate different training styles.

Went there awhile back equipment was decent except for the things that where damaged them whole time I was working out there, which I thought the annual fee would be used to repair and things weren't clean unless the members did so

I've been a member at Planet Fitness in Chilliwack since December 2022. Initially, I was drawn to the gym because of its "Judgement Free Zone" policy, but my recent experiences have caused me to reevaluate that opinion.

For the past six months, I've not been able to visit the gym due to work commitments, which has unfortunately also impacted my health, leading to a gout flare-up. If you've ever experienced gout, you'll know how debilitating it can be—I can't even wear shoes due to the pain.

Recently, I decided to return to the gym to help manage my condition. Sweating can help flush out some of the urea that contributes to gout. I arrived in sandals that don't aggravate my big toe, intending to use only upper body cardio equipment to minimize any perceived issue with my footwear. Despite this and the fact that the gym was far from crowded—it was Sunday at noon—I was denied entry after explaining my situation.

This rigid enforcement goes against what I understood to be the principle behind the "Judgement Free Zone" slogan—making accommodations and not judging individuals for their unique circumstances or needs. Instead of being accommodating or attempting to understand my situation, I was turned away, leading me to feel judged and unwelcome.

Disheartened, I felt I had no choice but to cancel my membership. To add fuel to the fire, I was charged $26 today, even after my cancellation. While I understand that rules are in place for a reason, there should be room for flexibility, especially for those who genuinely need accommodations.

In the end, the gym's rules were upheld, but not the principles behind their "Judgement Free Zone" slogan. I'm disappointed to say that what I once considered a supportive environment has proven to be far from it. I'm relieved to have left this toxic place, but the additional charge after cancellation just deepens my dissatisfaction.

I was a national sport player for my country (Iran) for more than 10 years and I know that how sport fields should be. I strongly recommend this place (Planet Fitness) because all requirements are needed for a good gym is available here. I really appreciate you Mark for your all kindnesses and also disciplines you always have in your position and I thank you Planet Fitness for this amazing place.

Why is the summer club pass for 14-19 years old when it is meant for high school students? A 13 year old can be in grade 9 and a 14 year old can be from grade 8 so it makes no sense. Instead of age they should base it off grades.

Greatest gym in town! Staff are amazing. They make you feel so comfortable and welcome from the first time you walk into the gym and are very knowledgeable.

The club has really gone down-hill in the past six months. Staff mostly visit with each other behind the front desk and aren't interested in keeping the facility clean. The cleanliness of the facility has gone down-hill. Also, getting out of your contract is a nightmare.

I love that the gym offers so many equipment including weights etc.the staff are very nice and the gym is very clean.

Good gym. Chilliwack location is ok. However, it feels a little aged with roof leaks.love that I can go to any location anywhere. Edmonton location is beautiful

Started going to the gym after not being in one for many many years. Going to a new gym can be a bit intimidating and I typically like to support smaller businesses.

I have been going a few months and feel right at home at PF. Lots of machines and depending the time you go it's not overly crowded. They do lack some more advanced machines as they are typically all assisted but that's the type of audience PF is usually looking for.

The culture they try to reinforce is that this is a gym for people to start out, and I think they do a pretty good job at it. You see lots of people who i would not say are regulars to the gym, so that i certainly appreciate.

You do not have the feeling that people are looking at you if you do not have much experience so again that's a good thing.

Most people sanitize the equipment which again is a great thing. They also have tanning beds and massage beds which is also a nice perk of the black plan.

Overall pretty happy.

After recently moving to Chilliwack, I started going to Planet Fitness, and was a little surprised to see they don't have a squat rack there, but only have smith machines. However, the club is clean, and there is a friendly staff on hand, but I am disappointed that there is no squat rack and no free weight over 75 pounds.

Great gym with lots of equipment and a nice little spa area. I'm a newb when it comes to gyms and was nervous going in but they were welcoming and explained it all to me. The price is very reasonable too for the Black Card. That's worth it because you can relax after a hard workout on the hydra message bed. I love it. I have back issues and it helped a lot. I'll be back lots more now I'm a member.

Works for me. Great location. Friendly staff. Fully equipped. No waiting. Very reasonable cost.

The manager at this location is a nut job. Have seen him treat his staff horribly. Seriously should think about replacing management for if I were your staff I would walk out on the spot. Gym was decent.

There was a manager who no longer works here - he hit on chick's at the gym (while he was at work). Very inappropriate and unprofessional. He would then stalk them on social media and message them asking to hangout and smoke the devils lettuce together. When told by one of the girls he was hitting on that she was in a relationship, he told her "it's okay, it can be our little secret. " I'm very glad he quit and is working elsewhere because I was so uncomfortable when going to the gym.

The manager at this location is awful. I have seen him verbally harass his staff. He is also a creep towards the women who work/female members at this location. Please consider hiring new management or I will no longer be attending this location.

Been going here for about a year now. I was very self conscious about going into a gym because of my weight. Staff were great and friendly. I bought the black card membership for the perks. The last couple months I starting bringing someone with me as a guest once to twice a week, I needed the motivation to keep up this journey. Our treat at the end of the work out was the hydro beds. Now they bring in a new GM and she is no longer aloud to use it. Not very good consistency after being told that being it was only 1-2 times a week my guest could use the hydro bed as well. I get what the contact says but when asked and told it was fine then stick with it. Very Unfortunate
