I was there to fix the guitar I bought from the marketplace. I forget to ask his name. Let's say, a magician cause he really did his magic and my guitar was fixed. You should visit the store and they have collections of musical instruments. I must have to say, the customer service I got today was great.

This is a wonderful business with great prices. You walk through the door and immediately receive friendly service. They are supportive of local creators and even showcase them inside the store. I'll be back!

I went in looking for a guitar the other week and both Chino and Andrew were very patieny and helpful in making sure that I made the decision that was right for me. A few days later the weather changed and my guitar needed to be readjusted so they offered to readjust it it free of charge for me.

Such a great selection of instruments and a lovely staff! They were so friendly and really good at explaining everything, even gave me a free keychain and picks. Guitars were all set up and cleaned before they were put up on the racks which was greatly appreciated. Just got my first electric here and I’ll definitely be coming back again sometime. Epilogue: I just had my first-ever professional guitar lesson at Play Music Inc.today. After years of casually picking away at my guitar, haphazardly learning (and forgetting) chords and lacking motivation; the folks at this magical music shop invented a spark, tailored for me, which renewed my excitement to the core. A great thought occurred to me today while walking away from my first lesson: "Wow, for the first time I truly know that I can do this! "

Play music Inc was the place where I started to first learn guitar and from the few years I was there all I can remember are the fond memories of the place and the people who worked there. The employees there are so kind and nice that it's like they have known you for your whole life. The products you get buy there are also ever expanding making it a great place to get any musical item you may want. Tho I may have not been there for some time as of today when I went back it was still all smiling faces.

I highly recommend Play Music Inc, either buying, taking a lesson or even just dropping by to get music advice from them. You won't be disappointed. We bought a ukelele from the shop in January and I had a class with them for a few months. Like Andrew, the owner of the shop, said, "You will be able to play a song from the first lesson. " I ended up taking more lessons because I just enjoyed going there and the lessons. People there are so nice just like friends and family. Again, I highly recommended this place.

I came in to Play Music Inc to look for a capo, ended up chatting with the staff for a bit and had a great experience. They are all clearly passionate about music and on top of that, very friendly. I asked if they had a guitar phone mount in stock and at the time they didn't, but took my name and number down in case they found one. A few weeks later I get a call that they found one and ordered one for me. Not every business will do this for their customers, so I was very touched by their service and dedication. Great store, great staff!

Had my guitar strings replaced and a tune up. Sounds amazing! Really friendly service, went above and beyond.

We were looking for a place that can swap the strings on a RT handed guitar to LT handed to accomodate some of the health challenges our daughter is facing. They were nothing short of fantastic! They reassured us it could be done at a reasonable price and even allowed our daughter to play on her dream electric guitar. A huge thank you to the three angels we met in the store. Recently took my acoustic to get a set-up and Chino did an amazing job! They quoted me 2-3 days, got a call 4 hours later that it was finished! Plays and sounds amazing, they really treat it as if it was their own guitar. At $60 for a set-up and the quick turn around, I'll be bringing all my guitars here from now on and suggesting this place to all my friends! Great friendly staff as well! As a novice, I had no knowledge of what gear to get myself so I can start playing the electric, but Cheenou was very helpful! Looking forward to coming back in the future!

The owners are really, really lovely people! It's a small shop but has a really nice selection at very reasonable prices. We picked up several things and will definitely be back.
They also have a surprise stock of super random enamel pins to spice up your gig bag or anything. As a sucker for enamel pins, I was very pleasantly surprised and may have picked up several. ;)

My super old Larry Adler Chromatic Harmonica needed some repair. Not knowing where to go, I went to the closest music store in my neighbourhood. Not only was Chino at the front desk super helpful when I first called in, but when I came in so we could fix the harmonica, he patiently worked on it with me for 2 hours straight with extreme care and attention to detail. Ultimately, the harmonica was fixed and in perfect shape. Super glad I game into Play Music and had the pleasure to meet Chino and get to know the store as it was my first time in. Can't wait to come back!

What an amazing experience! I am in Hong Kong and want to buy a guitar for my daughter, who is studying in Vancouver, for Christmas present. Knowing nothing about guitar, I prefer a physical store rather than online store. So that my daughter can ask for any guitar tips when pick it up. I searched online and found that Play Music got all positive comments. I typed in my requirements and budget in their chat box, and Beatrice replied immediately. She made some good recommendations and let me know there were some beginner guitars on sales till Boxing Day. We figured out how I could pay in overseas to secure the stock and everything was arranged from general enquiry to place an order within 2 days! When my daughter picked up the guitar, it was all prepared, including the accessories, for her. Cheenou and Andrew were very helpful and asked my daughter to visit them if needs to pack the guitar for overseas travel. This was the best remote shopping that I ever had!

Amazing experience! I went in today to get my first-ever guitar but I'm really happy that I did so at Play Music Inc. Being complete beginner, I was feeling slightly intimidated going into any kind of music shop, but nothing like that at this shop. The staff were very friendly, had such an inviting atmosphere and you could feel their sincerity. I Left the store happy and very excited to start playing the new guitar I have with me now. I brought in one of my first guitars I have ever bought that was sitting in storage for a number of years. Play music fixed and cleaned it so good that it looked brand new just like the first day I had it. Staff is super friendly and I ended spending more then an hour playing and talking about music.
