Playtime Pediatric Dentistry

My daughter’s been coming here since she was a baby and we’ve always been pleased with this clinic. The dental assistants and dentists have all been wonderful, patient, and kind. They are very well equipped to take care of little children, which was not the case when I first tried taking her to my regular dentist, and make it a pleasant experience for the little ones. I’ve recommended several friends to this place already and most people I know with toddlers come here.

Extremely good first impression. If it wasn't for the equipment and "Dentistry" on the sign, you would think that the place is like a playground and a fun place to go. Everything is made and planned for the kids to forget that they're in a dental clinic to check on their teeth. It's was a fun experience, the staff had all the patience in the world to explain and roleplay with my daughter, making the experience as comfortable and as fun as possible.

The ladies here are so wonderful! My daughter left her appointment smiling and laughing. Would highly recommend this dentist office to all parents!

Amazing staff - starting from the ladies at the reception desk and continuing with extremely friendly and professional doctors and their assistants. I know that treatment at Playtime is expensive, but it's definitely worth the money you pay for!

I was so hesitant to bring my son to the dentist again. After I talked to my friend Monika who works at Playtime and everything she told me I went through and so glad I did. I was pleasantly surprised by everyone from front staff to the hygienist and the dentist. Thank you everyone who made my son feel comfortable to go and have his teeth cleaned!

Amazing place! Both the assistant and the dentist were so patient with my 3yo and I found the examinations very thorough. They’re very good with kids and made the visit super enjoyable for him - he actually asks to go back!

If your child has any hesitation whatsoever about the dentist this is the place to go. My daughter went from refusing to open her mouth at the dentist, to saying she loved her trip to the dentist. The hygienist explained everything she was going to do, let my daughter hold/test the equipment and then before proceeding the hygienist asked for my daughter's consent. The dentist we saw, Ella Choi was fantastic and so reasonable. 10/10.

We took our 1 year old for his first dentist visit and cleaning and had a really lovely experience from start to finish. We were greeted warmly by every staff member and service was super prompt and efficient. The dental assistant and dentist were both amazing, making all of us feel at ease and somehow getting through the whole cleaning process without any fuss.

Took my 3-year-old (Sophie) for her first dentist visit today and it went smoother than I could have possibly imagined. They just moved into their new space and it's beautiful, the toys in the waiting room are excellent. They are so friendly and helpful when they greet you and your little one and I couldn't believe the time and patience they took to put my daughter at ease. They asked both of us several times if we had any questions and were so genuinely caring and joyful with Sophie it was great! Highly recommend!

We’ve been going to Playtime for years! They have the sweetest staff that genuinely like kids and makes the experience so positive for my kid. Before the hygienist does anything she explained and showed my daughter and kept her apart of the process. My daughter absolutely loves going to the dentist because Playtime creates such a positive experience each visit.

Kudos! It’s our first time visiting and I feel very comfortable. The staff and dentist are very friendly, and Dr. Ella is very nice and gentle with my baby. I will highly recommend it.

My daughter has been a patient here since she came in for her very first checkup at the age of 16 months. We were immediately welcomed and put at ease. Everyone here, from the front end staff, to the dental assistants, and the dentists themselves, is extremely friendly and very good with young kids. They also send multiple reminders for upcoming appointments, which as a busy mom I really appreciate. The office is very bright, clean and aesthetically pleasing. My daughter is now almost 5 and we are happy to keep coming here for her dental health.

It was my 1 year old son’s first dentist visit and Playtime dentistry surpassed my expectations. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming - From the front staff, dentist assistant and dentist. They took the time to explain things thoroughly and make it a comfortable experience. High recommend!

Took my child to Dr. Nidhi Kotak. She's the best. And the clinic was clean and well run. It was actually a fun experience for my child. Will be coming here from now, even though I need to drive 30 minutes to get there.

This is the perfect place for toddlers and kids who never had a dental experience before. Very kind and playful staffs. My 3 year old daughter is keep asking me to go back: p

Amazing place for children to go To. My daughter actually didn't want to leave because the staff especially Lily was amazing.

Very lax on covid safety. No mask requirements for other patients (was mislead by website). Waiting room was packed with maskless kids and an adult. Safety screen to office was ajar with unmasked staff behind. Showed up early, but there was a significant wait. Will not come back

The PPD team are so wonderful with our kids. They actually look forward to their visits. My kids also use the tools and advice Dr. Ella and team taught them about dental hygiene. They are proud when they find "sugar bugs" when they floss:)

Amazing clinic for kids. Really heart warming to just sit and soak in the patience and care exuded. My kid was so excited before and after his visit - the staff, assistant, and Dr. Ella made him feel like a super star!

Very patient with our nervous 3 year old. They take the time they need to work with her and on the last visit she came home proclaiming "I love the Dentist" and that she wants to be a dentist when she grows up. We will keep coming back.

My doctor is okay. But the clinic charge more than standard insurance coverage which makes me not feel very excited as the service is just regular.

Great clinic for kids that are initially afraid of going to the dentist. My little one felt comfortable and happy. I do feel like they could work a bit on their customer service at payment. It feels very rushed and a bit of a money grab. You are paying more than a general practice because they specialize in kids but I felt like they just wanted you to pay up and close the deal. Didn't like that at the end.

Lily was so friendly and kind, so our toddler warmed up to her so quickly! Lily was also so sensitive to my child’s comfort levels and expressed that her main goal to to ensure that our kid left the appointment with a positive experience. Lily was also so patient with our child when they were getting their x-rays done and didn’t force anything and was flexible enough if our child didn’t want to do a certain procedure. Dr. Jessica came in being fully prepped to meet us (gathered medical history prior to arriving), she was so thorough with our son’s teeth, and gave an amazing assessment and treatment plan!

I highly recommend Playtime Paediatric Dentistry for anyone who has a child with sensory issues that is unable to successfully, without trauma, go to a typical dentist. I especially appreciated the kindness of Ms. Olivia Liao and Dr. Fran Rhee and how they, and their whole team, were empathetic to not only to our child but our family as well. C B-C.

We moved to Vancouver from New Zealand last spring and our daughter is 4. She had some tooth ache for about 2 months, due to COVID, we struggled to see a pediatric dentist until Dr Choi's team saw us. Ms Olivia helped us a great deal with organizing the appointments. Dr Ella Choi and Rose are absolutely amazing. I work at VGH as a physician and I can tell you both as a medical professional and as a mother, if your child needs dental work, Dr Ella Choi and her team is the BEST! Top Notch

Took our two year old to Playtime Broadway for his first dentist visit, and wasn't disappointed. The dental tech was great at helping our son get comfortable with the room and tools. By the time the dentist came in, our son was perfectly calm. When it was time to leave, he didn't even want to leave! Only downside of Vancouver location, is expensive and hard parking to find. Just give yourself some extra time for parking.

We just took our almost 2 year old daughter for a check up and we highly recommend this practice. They got our daughter to cooperate fully in a calm and positive manner and we were so impressed. I thought that she would not cooperate at all and the appointment would be wasted but they were so patient and kind with our energetic toddler! Thank you Dr. Fran!

Loved Dr. Choi, this was the first time my son went to the dentist and he loved it as well, the staff were friendly and professional and the clinic space was clean and appealing. I highly recommend it!
