Pluvio restaurant and rooms

I have been three times now and each time has been a wonderful experience. You can tell they put a lot of effort into making things run smoothly, everyone seems to be on the same page, the service is immaculate and the food is to die for! I have not tried the tasting menu- only the three-course menu and it is AMAZING. I didn’t leave hungry, and I didn’t leave grossly stuffed- we all felt happily feed and comfortable as we walked out. Pluvio is truly a special spot and I highly recommend checking it out, the whole experience was a vibe!

Beautiful meal and experience. Service was amazing and the food really lived up to the hype. They were super accommodating of some of our food restrictions (a vegan, a dairy allergy) and no one felt left out. Love the snacks served around the three course menu, it was a delight seeing what came to the table next. Worth the price, reviewers on here complaining don’t appreciate what it takes to craft meals like this. Portions are small but you will be full by the end of the night don’t worry.

Pluvio restaurant - the single best dining experience of my life. The food quality, presentation and taste were out of this world! The service is simply the best I've ever had, the staff just phenomenal. It was very pricy, but we knew that and expected it, and it was worth every penny and more. I now use "Pluvio" as an adjective to describe brilliant things. ;-)

This restaurant is incredible. Had a great experience here, all the way from drinks, food and dessert were great and best presentation ever. Highly highly recommend it. I wish they were in Vancouver as well. I wud just drive here for the night just to eat their food again

My husband and I visited Ucluelet for our honeymoon and the tasting menu experience at Pluvio was really the cherry on top. Cocktails were excellent, wine was delicious, and the food was very tasty. I also didn’t feel rushed in the least so we were able to take our time to enjoy our drinks and food to our heart’s content. They definitely are very busy so be sure to make a reservation ahead of time!

We stayed and dined at Pluvio for the first time for our elopement weekend in May and it did not disappoint. Lily was so accommodating especially when we had to shift our dates of our stay and our dinner, luckily there was still vacancy and she was great to answer my inquiries. The rooms were so bright, open, spacious and comfortable, overlooking the quaint garden at the back. We also loved the complimentary homemade breakfasts in the fridge, as we had our ceremony very early the next morning, it was just what we needed.
The dining experience at dinner was one of the best we've ever had. Lily, Warren and the entire team were so wonderful and attentive. The food and cocktail were amazing, nothing but very clean plates and smiles all around from our group the entire evening. To this day we still talk about the dining experience.
We really appreciate the intimacy the owners and team at Pluvio create for their guests and diners and it was the perfect place to kick-start our first full day as a married couple. We will most definitely be back!

Amazing dinner and cozy decor. The staff was lovely and incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. The food and wine were amazing with a focus on local, sustainable and fresh ingredients. The wine list is excellently curated and full of natural/low intervention wine from BC and elsewhere. Highly recommend going and savoring the flavors! Can’t wait to go back during storm season since the interior is very cozy.

This is hands down the BEST dining and food experience Ive had the short while I been a "foody". This is the stuff you see on tv wish you could eat and drink. Come here and spend a night, or plan your ferry ride its worth it.

We had the 5 courses tasting menu with pairing for me. From the mise en bouche to the mignardises at the end, our experience was enhanced by the humdogs supplement and the scallops as a side of the Smokey pork belly. Every courses brought happiness to our taste buds. The BC and Canadian terroir were on display all night. I can’t underline enough the excellence that was deliver by the kitchen and the service personnel tonight. Without a doubt, the best culinary experience coast to coast.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Ucluelet. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is amazing – everything we tasted melted in our mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while on Vancouver Island. Highly recommend!

We booked into the restaurant for our 31st anniversary and wow it was amazing
From the moment we were seated right to the end we had an amazing dining experience, the staff so welcoming and the smiles were wonderful to see.
The food: wow wow this place will knock your socks off. I have never seen such a beautiful menu with locally sourced foods. It's an experience for both the eyes and pallet. The plating of this exquisite food is perfect, all of the flavour combinations hit all the right spots of the palette. The chef has the skills of Michelin star rated chef, in my opinion, wow fantastic. You will smile at the sight of each item being placed on your table. Each course compliments the next from start to finish.
The servers are attentive and very well versed in each dish they are serving. They help make this dining experience wonderful.
Attention to detail, they don't miss anything.
A beautiful touch for our anniversary, they gave us a card signed by all of the staff, it was touching. At the end our server took our picture and presented it to us. They all made our special occasions beautiful.
Make a reservation, arrive on time and do not be late. Come hungry, the portions are not small. I highly recommend this little Gem of a restaurant.
