Thank you Point Grey Private Hospital for the wonderful care of our dad. He is very happy and is settling in well. Our family very much appreciates the extra care and the phone call updates- we have total peace of mind knowing that our dad is in such a lovely place with great care and knowledgeable, friendly team members. We feel very fortunate that he is in your care.

PGH has been very disappointing. The staff are nice but the administration is lacking. Food quality and quantity is not at all how it is described on the PGH website. Meagre rations and they don’t consider the food preferences of the residents at all. Dinner is often a thin sandwich. Rarely bacon or sausage at breakfast, and even then it is one strip, despite repeated requests. Patient falls are not followed up with family in a timely manner. And this is in the private section for over $12,000/month. A tv is left on in the lounge all day with low or no volume. It is clean but almost sterile in atmosphere with no real warmth or ambience. No music playing, no sense of community. Nothing to entice residents to have a sense of enjoyment in their final years. Sad.

Point Grey Retirement Home is a very special place. They took exceptional care of my Dad when he needed a tremendous amount of care. The staff is incredibly patient and caring.
My Mom is living through the pandemic in her beautiful room. The entire Staff at Pt. Grey is doing everything they can to keep her comfortable. The doctors, nurses, care aides and the OT, Megan Kern are tremendous and often just pop in to say hello so that she doesn't feel isolated. The owners, Maureen and son Gavin McIntosh are sensitive to the needs of all the residents. They make everyone feel special. Thank you Pt. Grey Private Hospital.
