Kelly is the most experienced nail technician I have known in Vancouver. Her job is impeccable, always perfect nails until the next appointment.

My experience at the nail salon was extremely disappointing. The technician seemed inexperienced and, during the nail service, actually hurt my finger to the point that it was bleeding for an extended period. She also lacked the skills to create a decent nail design, which left me unsatisfied with the final result.

To make matters worse, the polish started chipping and came off just a day after the appointment. It was evident that the quality of the products they used was subpar. What added to the frustration was the fact that their prices were quite high in comparison to the poor service they provided.

In the end, I had to go to another salon to fix the issues caused by my initial visit. It was a disappointing and costly experience that I wouldn't wish upon anyone.

I paid premium prices with the end result being something I would have been disappointed in even if it was free. For example
- 6 nails Cracked in less than a week.
- 2 Extra Visits, 4 1/2 hours of My time.
- Diplorable Customer Service
- Very limited selection of colors & styles
The owner insisted that without even looking at them that they cracked because I was too rough on My nails Before leaving a woman came in stating she called in for a appointment, they couldn't find her on the computer so they turned her away.
Needless to say, I will not be going back & I hope this helps others from experiencing this excruciating experience.

Sheena is such an amazing hairstylist! I've been seeing here for a few months now and am very glad I found her. My hair can be quite difficult to cut since I have multiple cow licks and I am also pretty particular of how I like it cut.lol that being said, I highly recommend her services

I would not recommend coming here. The owner and his wife stalked and abused me for two years. They thought it was entertaining and that they would get away with it

I got a pedicure here for the first time in 5 years. So I'm not qualified to rate that. BUT - the pedicure seats are up high and have a great view of the park across the street. I had a relaxing morning of getting my toes done while watching THE GOODEST BOYS chase and play in the grass!

The worst customer service ever
I booked 10 days before I go, when I went there whatever I asked for was oh we don’t have time for doing this service like what is that like what exactly you have time for honestly 1 star is too much for them
At the end I gave up I said do whatever you want coz I had to travel next day
She did horrible horrible job, manager or owner I don’t know she was seeing me that I’m not happy and was extremely CARELESS

I had a really positive experience at Poised this morning. They were highly accomodating and professional.

Highly recommend Poised. Went there today for my bridal shower with 7 total to our party. The nail technicians were so accommodating, letting us reserve the whole salon for the afternoon with 3 technicians. We were allowed to bring decorations and our own items. They did an amazing job with my nails, and my whole party was happy. The technicians were skilled, patient and professional and often asked as they were working whether each of us was happy with the shape, look, progress etc of our nails. One of us was even able to change a colour choice after seeing the colour applied on her nails and not liking that opacity. They assured that if the gels chip or anything within seven days, we can come back for a touch up. Would absolutely get my nails done here again.

Very bad customer service! On July 23 went there as a walk-in for a Gel pedi one of the staff told me we have only time for regular nail polish so right away I booked the same service for tomorrow July 24 at 11 with Flo, at that time I was not familiar with the name of the staff that she is the same person. Today I went there for my appointment the same person who I found is Flo refused to give me service for Gel Pedi, although I had the confirmed booking. When the other colleague of Flo asked her to contact the next appointment to maybe come in 15min late, she refused because the next client is her friend. The worst customer service ever! Instead of fixing their problem, (basic ethics in customer service) as my booking was confirmed whatever happened was with their fault with the website and schedule, Flo refused to give me service. Very unprofessional!
I went to a different Saloon. Never try this place again.

P. S.out of curiosity I have booked another appointment for tomorrow July 25, for the same service I just get the confirmation on website and received no text confirmation neither email, the same problem that I had with my today’s appointment. Now I am sure that my today’s appointment was confirmed but it seems she offer the same time slot to her friend.

Always awesome service. Knowledgeable staff, courteous care and great conversation. I find the pricing also really good for the services.

Kelly always hits on all sixes with my nails including nail art and neat designs. Super sweet and great energy! Very upbeat and cheerful.

Sheena always does amazing color and her cuts all feel natural as she works with how your hair naturally falls (at least for me!). Such a sweetheart too and great catching up every time!

Bonus is they are dog friendly!

This is my go-to spot! Very creative, talented and friendly team. However, Uliana is my absolute favorite! Always enjoy our little talks about series and life while doing the gel nail polish. Wish I could do more than 5 stars! Totally recommend this place!

I went here for a pedicure before a vacation. It was a very clean and nice environment. Good selection of polish, and Raina did a fantastic job. I especially appreciate that they don't use cheap products with strong fragrance as I am sensitive to them. The pedi lasted all through my vacation even though I was walking in sand on the beach, and now 2 weeks later it still looks perfect. I will definitely go back.

My favourite nail salon! I never liked having my nails done until I started going to Poised. I've tried out a few technicians and always have a great experience:) Would highly recommend!

I got a manicure here for the first time a few days ago. My nails and cuticles have always been very healthy.

I’m so shocked that 2 days after the manicure, my cuticles are completely red & tender and all the skin is peeling! One of my cuticles is even completely scabbed from the bleeding. They’ve never been like this before. The manicurist cut my cuticles waaaayyy too short/deep and now they look and feel terrible. This has never happened before in all the times I’ve gotten my nails done - I’m very sad about it and hesitant to get my nails done again.

Truly exceptional service & quality of work. Sabrina was recommended to me by a friend & I'm hooked, literally the best manicure I've ever had. She does the cutest designs!

I came in for a lash lift. SARAH who does lash extensions also does lash lifts and tinting. She did it before for me not a problem this time she burnt both my eyes with the tinting dye. She burnt my upper lashes with the lift glue and ruined my actual lashes. She also burnt my lower right lashes. And the perm curled my lashes so much to the point they looked smashed and banged up. She told my to take scissors and cut the tip of my lashes off. Who says that to a client! I have to wait for the perm to fade away. I told her I wasn’t happy with this and she laughed at me. I left looking like a clown, I was extremely upset. She still had me pay for the services. I came in with natural long long upper and lower lashes. I will never ever come to this establishment again and I will never recommend you I have told numerous ladies of what you have done and I have made it clear that you are completely uneducated in what your doing and not to be trusted. I called after I left and Sarah said come back in ten days also she said I don’t make commission. Your disgusting for your behaviour towards me, for the fact you didn’t take responsibility for your lack of education towards doing this service for me. And lack of owning up to the fact you screwed up, didn’t offer me my money back. Laughed at me numerous times. Customer service is a zero. Knowledge of what your doing is a zero. I came back the next day and asked the manager for my money back. They still tried to pull well oh your lash serum you use is the problem no take responsibility for the lack of education Sarah has. I got my money back I will never trust them again with anything. Money back doesn’t fix what you have done. I will continue to tell everyone I can of poised nails and do not go there. Both locations. Word of mouth is everything. Some friends who use you I have told them also of a better place not so low budget. And i hope you lose business.

I got my haircut from Sheena for the first time and absolutely love my cut! She was swift but cut with precision and gave me the look I wanted. The place was super clean and tidy. I will definitely be coming back for some highlights and pedicure next time!

Absolutely phenomenal salon! I've been scheduling appointments for 4 years now and I have never been disappointed.

Sabrina and Kelly are incredibly talented at nail designs and their quality of work is outstanding. Sometimes I provide them photos as inspiration for my next design or I describe what I envision. Either way, they're able to come up with designs even better than what I had imagined. Their work is never rushed resulting in beautiful artistry. Also, they're able to take on complex and intricate designs. They're both so creative, kind, and patient.

Sheena is a master with all aspects of anything hair-related. She has given me colours from ash blonde, silver/grey, rose gold/pink, black, and nurtured my dark hair back to a much lighter blonde - all without compromising the integrity of my hair. She knows the products she uses well, has great technique, and always provides sound advice about hair maintenance. Like Sabrina and Kelly, she too is creative, kind, and patient.

The salon itself is very clean. The staff are always sanitizing stations after client use and the tools are sanitized as well. Customer service is wonderful. This place has always felt like another home because of the warmth and care they give to all their clients.

10/10 will always recommend.

Saw Sheena for a men’s cut and she did an amazing job. Extremely friendly and professional. She did exactly what asked for and exceeded my expectations. I will be seeing Sheena exclusively from now on.

I have been coming to Poised for 8 years now. Sheena has been doing my hair for years. This includes: hair colour, haircuts and my tape-in extensions. Sheena cares deeply for her clients and their hair and every time I leave, I am so in love with my hair. I always get so many compliments on it. The prices are super fair and Sheena is professional and meticulous. If you ever don't like something, she is more than willing to listen and fix it for you. I could not imagine my life without Sheena! If you are looking for an awesome dye job, hair cut, or someone to put/take out your extensions, Sheena is best!

Sheena is the absolute BEST! She always does an amazing job on my hair cut and hair colour. She is super professional, a great listener and always goes above and beyond for her clients. I always walk out of the salon feeling amazing!

I always provide reviews for inadequate businesses.did book a hair coloring at this salon. The hair stylist was nice and professional and we had a nice conversation but a moment I left a salon and called that the hair color turned out almost black when I asked for soft brown the salon offered me to come and fix it.

I did mention I refuse to recolor again that soon or to bleach since I do not want to damage my hair. I even showed pictures to a stylist before a session of the hair color I need. Also, I said I am not able to attend any time soon since I am travelling.

Long story short owner Stephanie stopped responding to emails and refused to provide a refund. If you do not want end up with black hair instead of soft brown go elsewhere.

Funny thing stylist Sheena who works there seems so nice and she mentioned she rents a chair there so she had to be the one to provide a refund for a mistake but the true nature was shown once a client was not happy. So find a better stylist elsewhere who is responsible for his mistakes. I cried all week long and don’t feel like getting out of the house. On top paid $20 tip. Feel ripped off.

Always a great experience at Poised. Sheena has been my hair stylist for 4 years and I do not trust any one else with my hair.

I first met Sheena in early 2017 in a race for time with my wedding approaching and a blorange mess on my head from someone else. I was so scared I wouldn’t get the honey blonde colour I wanted in time for my big day and on the very first sitting with Sheena she got the colour almost a perfect match to where it needed to be, meaning I’d only have to see her for one more lightening (as she didn’t want to over bleach and risk damaging my hair) and then maintenance and extensions before the wedding.

Sheena and I always have had great conversations and I leave the salon feeling not only physically refreshed but mentally as well as she is so easy to chat with and down to earth.

Sheena has always been honest with me about the process when colour changing my hair as well, as not long after I was married I went back to dark locks (my own bad as I instantly missed my blonde and how well Sheena kept my blonde looking amazing) and of course I wanted to start the process of lightening all
over again within a few months.

I would not recommend nor trust anyone else with my hair ever again-client for life 100%. My hair has never been as lush, thick and healthy as it is today and I credit that to Sheena and her care, and at home tips and tricks for keeping my hair up in between visits.

I am also currently 8 months pregnant and have seen Sheena twice during my pregnancy for colour touch up and cuts and she’s been extremely diligent in keeping me safe and only using safe products for me and baby.

Lastly, I just want to mention the atmosphere in the salon in general is always very lighthearted and fun and the team is always so happy. My dog also gets tons of love and completely spoiled when he accompanies me! Love Poised, 10/10 recommend!

I always see Uliana at this salon and I’ve seen other ladies at this shop but Uliana is the best. She is really nice and not too chatty with me which I prefer. Her work is really clean and she is attentive. I’ve never had a bad experience with her, she always accommodates my preferences if I want a design or several different colours. Would recommend supporting!

Every part of my appointment here was great. I booked waxing, manicure and pedicure, and everything was done with such professionalism and precision. This place is clean, on time, and the staff were very friendly. If I lived in Vancouver this would be my go to place 100%

This nail salon so far is one of the better ones I've been to in Vancouver. It's very clean and staff is very friendly and organized. I got a very nice gel manicure done by Uliana - it was really neat and she helped me chose the right colour for my birthday party.

I have been going to this Beaty salon for a manicure for almost a year, I am very pleased with the quality of the service. It’s easy and quickly to book online through their website! They have good location, and master Uliana Kim is very friendly and she makes the manicure quickly and accurately! I would definitely recommend this salon to my friends!

The salon is super cute and there were comfy pillows to rest against while getting my pedicure! Only downside is it’s like a bench you sit on so not good if you’re looking to sit on a massage chair. The staff were all really nice and did a great job too!

I drive out to Poised in Yaletown from White Rock because I love it here so much. Sabrina is the best nail technician ever! The space is extremely clean and visually appealing, relaxing here while getting a mani and pedi is not a problem at all.
