I ordered two build your own bowls off skip the dishes. One of them came with a shocking extra protein “ a live earwig” and it crawls and moves too! Super scary.

My honest review, this is by far the worst poke I've ever had.

There was a whole slice of raw onion. Just randomly in the bowl. The seaweed salad was rubbery and slimy? Not the thin light green slices that's normal at poke places, HUGE chunks of dark green seaweed.
And the salmon was tough. Not fresh. There were still grey bits that hadn't been cut off before preparing. I wouldn't be surprised if it was just Costco salmon cut into cubes.

For the price I paid ($40 for 2 bowls) I am NEVER coming back. Cute packaging and branding. Disgusting food.

I mean I like the taste and it’s healthy with the salads choices,

But! Just today when they catch my food the food dropping down at the other where and the clerk didn’t just leave here but catch them in front of my face makes me really uncomfortable, it’s something should be clear and the hygienic problems may need to taken
. It’s still a restaurant should maintain.

Me and my brother came for takeout yesterday and the service was great. They didn’t rush us to make an order, and they were VERY fast at putting everything together. They even let us trade the rare 2 dollar coin they had in their tip jar for a regular one <3 thank you for the great service and food!

Just tried Okey Pokey in Richmond for the first time through doordash. I had a custom poke bowl with tuna, avocado and other fresh toppings. It was so refreshing and delicious! Highly recommend.

I have been coming to this poke place for a long time but lately the customer service has totally gone down. They want to charge extra for everything including giving you a decent portion of rice in the medium bowl. I read another review from a year ago where the person go white rice brown rice and spring mix and wasnt charged extra. I simply asked for some spring mix after noticing my medium bowl looked empty and he said they charge extra for that.this place is decent for food but very very sweet even without sauce added but Poke Bar (Richmond) is much better only went here because it is closer to work so was convenient, definitely wont be coming here again very dissapointed. If you are going to raise your prices for bowls atleast make sure the bowl is full instead of handing out half empty ones. GO TO POKE BAR RICHMOND so you dont deal with the same bs.

The worst kind of experience I have had with the people working here. I had to give a 0 zero star but there is no option out.

Delicious build your own bowls! Greens are fresh and they don't skimp on the ingredients.

It is however unfortunate that there aren't any options to choose beef or pork as proteins on the Ubereats app. Please add them in as options!

Such a good poke place! Lots of options and delicious ingredients available. Very friendly service at the counter as well. I usually don't get premade bowls but the yellow bowl looked great and tasted even better!

The customer sercive here is garbage. The girl who served me clearly does not want to be there. She doesn't listen to what the customer is ordering. The whole interaction felt very unwelcoming.

I never write reviews but they deserve a 0 stars! I ordered with uber eats. An hour later I received the wrong order, with the right receipt attached to it, so they obviously had the right info but packaged the wrong food. We called and got a new order ready for delivery but after an other hour wait, go told they couldn't send it with uber. So they offered to send it with Skip, an hour later; no skip, no food, no calls. Absolutely horrible service! Never ordering there again!

Always love the poke bowl here! Portions are great. Lots of options for everyone. My favorite is the build-a-bowl. I can pick from white or brown rice, or spring mix, along with tons of proteins! Definitely will visit regularly!

I was very excited to try a pokey bowl in Richmond, but the quality of the fish was not that great.
The cold seaweed salad in the red bowl didn’t combine well with the rest of the ingredients.

Great quality, decent quantity at a great price! The staff is always friendly (without fail) and accommodating despite my dietary limitations/allergies. I recommend the yellow bowl!

I love ordering from this shop as I love the quality of the fish as compared to 90% of poke shops in Vancouver. I never have problems with my order. Today however I ordered the red bowl and was disappointed that the fish was not spicy and there were only 4 pieces of kimchi that seem to have been wiped of its fermented chili/sauce. If people can't handle spicy, pls don't order what's supposed to be a spicy dish. Excellent food, though I'm a little disappointed if they are lessening their flavour.

Like the selections here, tried the yellow bowl and it's tasting. Portion of the bowls in 3 sizes generally, but they are considering relevant smaller than thought compared to other pokey stores. Personally I recommend large size bowl.

A bit pricy as unexpected but falling into acceptable categories. Ingredients are seen as fresh and countertops reasonably clean and tidy at visit. Parkings are available behind building here but very difficult get in and out due to the lot size and angle parking design, if order ahead via apps that may help. Friendly staffs.

My go to Poke and they never disappoint. Great friendly service, consistent high quality and great value in pricing and portions.

The food is delicious but it is very frustrating to make an online order and have to wait 15 min past the time when you were supposed to pick up (with small kids waiting in the car) because they are taking walk ins that got there after you instead of finishing your order. 5 bowls were made in the time after I got there to pick up 6 bowls. Our half made bowls just sat there while I waited. Great food but customer service could be much better.

One of my favourite Poké places in Richmond. Especially if you want to get a large custom bowl. The prices and selection are reasonable and there is a wide array of add-ons.

Favorite poke place in Richmond! So happy that they are expanding store to Burnaby and Downtown.

This is one of the best poké spots in the Lower Mainland. I have been here multiple times and they are very consistent with their product. The ingredients are always fresh and tasty. They don't cheap out and are very generous with their portions. Perfect for a hot summer day.

Pokey Okey use to be the best pokey in the lower mainland, with their fresh ingredients, good use of simple and convenient packaging. A strong contender with locals like WestCoast Poke and Hoke Poke.

I am not usually the one that will go out of my way to write a negative review or do harm to a small business, however I will have to say both the quality and more so the quantity has gone nothing but downhill. These guys are scooping portions of salmon like they will lose their jobs if they go a salmon cube over.

They are keeping their customers famished.

Tip of advice:

1. Dont order on Uber, go in person as they seem to always give more when you go in person.

2. Make sure you do not ask for extra rice, or anything extra, because of the size of their minimum wage egos, they will choose instead to give you less

3. Just order from Westcoast or Hokey pokey, much better prices and portions, not to mention Pokey Okey larges went from $14.75 to $19.00 on Uber. Its like Daylight Robbery, guilty on the first degree!

2021/8update: They made the changes of the options of base on delivery apps! Feels good to be heard? Red Bowl is a must try for any new comer!

2021/7: Top notch poke bowl, tasty and fresh. Only leave a bit to be desired with lacking of options of base on Ubereats. (I can neither replace rice with spring mix nor choose less ”brown rice”)

Poke tasted pretty fresh and they make it fast too! Shop is small so prepare to social distance.

Very good variety of ingredients, all fresh and yummy, highly recommended. Amazing customisable poke bowls with great vegetarian and vegan options.

Decent bowls but the portion sizing inconsistency is maddening. Last week I went in and got a medium bowl and honestly I was so disappointed because the portion of fish looked pathetic and quite frankly sad. I honestly thought I was just imagining things but no whoever made it for me did not put the correct amount.

I’ve been here many times and never had this issue before.

I’ll chalk it up to an inexperienced new employee but still? It’s like forgetting to put the patty in a hamburger. What the hell man.

Love Pokey Okey! Never a bad experience here. Quality of ingredients are always super tasty. Staff always greets people upon entering and are very friendly. Will be back again for sure!

Pokey Okey is more than OKAY! The food here is absolutely INCREDIBLY FRESH & DELICIOUS! On top of that, the staff at Pokey Okey are just as sweet and super friendly. If I had a restaurant, I’d want this staff 100%! This is by far the BEST Poké restaurant in Richmond and perhaps the entire Northwest! What a gem!

I like to eat all kinds of pokey okey bowls, they are healthy and delicious. Sometimes you can choose what you like. Is my fitness meal.

We've gotten poke from pokey okey so many times over the past year or so! Their fish is always fresh and the sides are yummy as well. My fave is the spicy ahi. Portion sizes are generous - we find a small is perfect for lunch and a medium is more than enough for dinner. If I could change anything, I'd love a green curry sauce or the option to have pea shoots as a finish/side.
