Polished Perfect Nanaimo

Brought my 4 year old in for the cute mother daughter experience, & it was not that to say the least. The ladies who chose to rush us through, didn’t clip, clean up the skin, or even shorten. They had no consideration as to who’s tiny little hands they were holding to polish, or the fact that maybe the towels may be to hot for a little girl, (I had to quickly rip it off cause my child was confused from being burnt, then looks at me like I’m rude) I had to remind them twice that she was 4 & to be patient! Why take child clientele if you have no patience. This was a poor experience over all.don’t bring your kids here, wouldn't recommend…Disappointed this is usually my go to.

I’ve always gone here because it’s been convenient and close to home, however today I did not enjoy my experience. I had showed up to the salon with a little bit of gel left on thinking it would be quick and easy to remove, she charged me $15 to remove it which felt insane to me.

Secondly, they change their prices all the time. One minute it’s $60, today it was $70, and they included $5 tax when they NEVER have tax. (I think they feel as though they can take advantage of young teens and ask for however much money they want because we’re less likely to speak up about it).

They also don’t accept visa gift cards which I thought you could use that gift card on anything.

Lastly, I would’ve thought I’d get some money taken off especially since I had an appointment today, and they took me in 15 minutes late with barely an apology. The customer service is very poor and they’re typically really rough when doing my nails.

I just came here to get my nail’s removed and the girl that was supposed to remove them didn’t know how and told me no, another came and took over and did an okay job of removing them it scared me when the first girl didn’t know how to remove them though. Especially when I had booked an appointment you’d think they’d give me someone who knew what they were doing

Worse place for any kind of service. They are super rude, unprofessional and with absolutely no work ethic whatsoever. I have given them so many opportunities because they are in the mall and it’s convenient for me to shop and get my nails done, but every time, they have failed. They behave like they are doing your service on the house and you are not paying for it. Not returning again.

Very bad, I spend so much money, They are not careful at all. The nails are crooked，I’m very upset, cuz I use almost 200 box’s, so bad so bad, I won’t come here again!: (

I had a very bad experience at this place. The staff is too rude and carry a very bad attitude towards its customers. They ruined my nails and rather than being sorry or fixing it they offered a discount to rectify it.
I won’t recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely the most unprofessional salon. I continued to go because they had a new technician who was very sweet and did a excellent job. The lady that answers the phone and maybe runs the place not sure has very poor personable skills and was aggressive to deal with. Unfortunately my technician has left so I will never return.

I went in for acrylic and a Pedi. And the service was amazing. I got these cute Halloween nails and she brought them to life. So cute and very nice

I had a pedicure done today, and it was the best pedicure i’ve ever had! My feet have never felt better, and my nails are amazing.i felt like the nail tech really took her time with me and i love my polished nails! I don’t treat myself often, but i’m going to have to make pedicures here a regular thing

When I went to get my nails done they were very rough with my fingers. She made my finger bleed and she seen the blood and looked at me. I thought she would’ve stopped on that finger since I was bleeding but she kept coming back to it and put product on top of the cut. I will not be coming back.

Love love love this place. Girls are super friendly and and they do awesome designs! Prices are affordable as well.

I got taken to get a deluxe manicure with a friend. First of all the table set up with the plexi glass has you leaning backwards as you put your arms through little slots like a money mart. I was started first while my friend awkwardly sat there until her nail tech came 15 min later. The "massage" was a scrub that was rubbed on just for application then I was asked to go to the sink to rinse off. Then a lotion application and the parrifen wax. Which was in a bag and I put my hand in and swisher around. This was all fine and dandy but not really what I expected. But the polish application was where it took a turn for the worse. The polish is non existent by the nail bed, and applied all over the sides on my nail beds. My cucticals are cut up and jagged. The gel was not drying because she applied the wrong product. It cost $65 and overall eould never return. These photos were from the same day.

I have never had a bad set of nails here. All the nail techs are definitely talented ladies. The prices are very affordable compared to other nail salons in the city.

Used to have a 5/5 star review but this place has lost my business. Did a horrible job upon removing my nails and putting gel nail polish on and when I phoned them back only a few hours after getting them done they were rude and not assuring at all. When I came in for an appointment to get them fixed the woman was rough with me and everyone was rude while I was there. Definitely do not recommend these guys! Picture is what they did TO FIX IT.

Super satisfied with my nails. Everyone there is super friendly! The space is super clean and most importantly my nails were perfect! Tried a few nail places in Nanaimo but only this place never let me down! 200% recommended!

I am super impressed with my nails! I went in for an acrylic set of nails today, and they are amazing! Great colour selection, attention to detail, and the nails are super thin, which is great! Good prices and clean salon. Definitely my new go to nail salon!

Really bad experience, they did very fast which is I understand they want make more business but for being the customer I don’t feel relaxed and enjoy at all, also the nail shape, quality looks very rough, after I done my nails there, the same day I couldn’t wait to ask my workmate had done her nails shop’s contact way for next time, wouldn’t come back again, also, the nails they did will broke in first week.

I’ve been coming here on and off for a few years now. Always friendly, efficient, aim to please and my nails look great when done. Good value at a good price. Would strongly recommend booking an appointment if Ur having 2 procedures done or are in a hurry. They are busy. But good places usually are!

I have never usually had an issue with my experience, I have always found the staff where excellent. Expect for today I went in to schedule an appointment. I was told to come back an hour later (which I did). It took about 10mins before someone would even knowledge I was even standing there, until a customer told her so. She then told me to sit on a bench in the mall (which I did). I watched 3 other customers walk in. About 15mins later The nail tech came out and told me there behind and to come back next day. Need some serious organization and customer service skills.

My nails turned out amazing! However the service wasn’t great.my friend got his nails about 20 min before me and it was difficult to understand the workers who speak very little english

I went for a double mani pedi with a friend. I'm not sure about her but I now have bloody cuticles and ingrown toenails. I asked for the sides of my big toe nails not to be clipped but she did it anyway. My pedicure was completely different from my friends pedicure. I appreciate the time she put in but now I'm pretty sore.

I've yet to have a bad experience getting my nails done here!
They also have a great colour selection!

I’ve been to this salon twice now, driving an hour away from where I live, and both times I’ve had the privilege of working with Lynn. I was absolutely blown away by how meticulous and careful she was with my nails, making absolute sure they were perfect. Such an amazingly professional place that doesn’t break the bank. Super happy to make this my new go-to salon!

Had the deluxe mani and pedi with my daughter. Really enjoyed the service except we both did not receive the same treatment. My paraffin treatment was not as thorough as my daughter's. I have an obvious callus that was only addressed after I checked it. I was not given cuticle oil, but my daughter did. The one treating my daughter handed the cuticle oil to mine but she brushed it away. I really enjoyed my services but when there are two together it was easy to see discrepancies.
Over all I recommend Polished perfect.

Went for a gel nail fill and they gave me acrylic.not only are they already chipping but the lady that did them didn’t trim my cuticles.she took 2 1/2 hours mostly because she continued to answer phones and make appointments while doing my nails. (pictures are day two)

My pedicure was not the best, the polish is everywhere on my nail and skin and it already got damaged minutes after leaving the place, only the one nail got cleaned as it had an ingrown nail, but the rest of the nails were not cleaned, i still have dry dead skin all around my big toes after they got dry.

The only reason it's not a 5 is the size and condition of the washrooms. Lovely, lively swimmable lake.

This was one of the worst experiences of customer service I've ever had. I felt unwelcome from the get-go. I was accused being being late for my appointment even though it was the staff that had mistakenly written the time of my appointment down wrong. She did not apologize for accusing me of something I didn't do. The same person that was confrontational about me being late was the person who performed my pedicure. I found her to be incredibly rude and unprofessional. She treated me like I was an inconvenience. I was asking about different "levels" of pedicures (a chance for them to make more money and for me to have a nicer experience) and she didn't explain anything about the different services that the website mentioned. I was offered the "basic" only. She completely blew off any of my questions about having something other than a basic service. My feet are not smooth, she didn't use the proper tools to remove my dry skin. Every other place I have been offers a razor - she did not. Every time I thanked her, she did not respond. I thanked her a few different times, everytime it went unacknowledged. When I paid, I tipped, which I regret. I however work in the service industry and find it very hard not to tip. She didn't thank me for coming, didn't wish me a good day, or thank me for the tip. She was incredibly smug the whole time. I haven't had a pedicure in a year because of covid. I was really looking forward to treating myself to some self care. I left feeling more stressed than when I went in and not at all taken care of. I will never go back because of how I was treated by the person who did my service. As a fellow customer service employee (and human!) I know you can make or break someone's day with how you treat them. A truly disappointing experience.

I’ve gotten a couple very nice sets of nails done here! I’ve gotten a checkered pattern which turned out fantastic and I got a simple gel nail manicure. Overall I love the atmosphere and customer service here and definitely will be returning.
