Pomeroy Hotel & Conference Centre Fort St John

The staff at this hotel were so friendly and helpful. They made our stay so enjoyable and comfortable.
Shout out to Cristine and her manager Courtney, super friendly and best service in town. 10/10 would recommend!

Just had the company Christmas party at this location. The event room was nice, however, it was awful dinner. One of the worst! I will never again try chopped turkey in gravy. The whole thing was cheap.

Nice stay until I noticed I had left a bag behind.

A day later I returned to pick it up and no-one seemed to care to look for it and then after multiple times calling without a call back r and revisiting the location they said it had just disappeared and that it was my problem.

The manager was extremely rude and said my only option was to contact the police.

Myself and my company will no longer be utilizing this location.

MANAGEMENT MADE EXCUSES FOR EVERYTHING pretending problems didn't exist. THE POOL IS NOT HEATED. The jacuzzi didn't work. They didn't have towels. When they brought towels to the pool they were hand towels with no comment - what a joke! One bed had no support bar so when you sat on it it sank to the ground. The heater/cooling system didn't work well. The water at the front desk tasted like chlorine. The room was clean and the daily workers were all nice. Management sucked! The room itself was a regular room.

Pretty decent hotel, hallways and heater had a bit of an odour but nothing offensive just odd. As far as I know it's the nicest hotel up here so there is that.

I’m a tea totaler, I’m here for the week. Yesterday after I arrived a made tea in the Keurig machine in my room, yuck! I called to the front desk and asked for a kettle, I was told they would look. Later as I was passing the front desk I enquired again about a kettle. I was advised that they were looking and if they couldn’t kind one they’d buy one and put it in my room for me. Sure enough, after I returned to my room tonight after having been out working all day there was a brand new kettle in my room, and a China mug, cuz who drinks tea in a paper cup?
The staff here are not only friendly, they care about their guests. Lucky me still has a few more days here.

Eleanor, the general manager is a gem, very professional and made sure my stay was perfect.

I stayed at this hotel for a week for work the hotel overall is a nice place, but housekeeping needs to step up as that was terrible. The front desk staff are really great. One of the ladies working there I think her name was courtaney was absolutely amazing she went above and beyond for us always greeting us, making sure that we had everything we need. She went out of her way to help us all the time, She made are stay great!

I was not pleased! There ere many issues, had to change rooms. Then the toilet ran all night long. I have not had a follow up regarding the problems, even though I specifically asked.

The Pomeroy is my go to hotel in Fort St. John. It’s clean and comfortable, and with the restaurant and casino attached it’s nice to not have to leave the grounds when killing time or having a meal.

Normally don’t take the time to review places. But today the staff went above and beyond for me. Impossible to get a cab in this town and after trying for a half hour the manager drove me to the airport himself! Before I could get stressed about the situation they stepped in and helped me. I was alone and knew no one in the city so needless to say I was very grateful. I will most certainly return again!

Room was clean and fresh. One thing was there was no curtain on the room window, only a white sheer. Had to improvise. Room overlooked the parking lot.

I forgot my phone charger in my room. Not only did they find it for me, they mailed it to me for no charge, and I had it back in a matter of days!

Excellent service. I'll be coming back every time I stay in Fort St John!

My Fiance and I went here 2 years ago for our anniversary stay-cation. The room was nice, well appointed and the bed was extremely comfy. We had taken the Jacuzzi suite, which, we were a little sad at the air jets as it cooled off the water rather quickly. But succeed in an epic bubble bath.
We didn't use the room service, but rather enjoyed the sit down meal at Just Jacks. We had a nice dinner there.
All staff that we talked to were pleasant, and easy to work with!

Older rooms, no usb plug ins, no decaf coffee in the rooms (Starbucks Pikes regular coffee), front desk not staffed at checkout at 730am (left keys). Room AC worked and lots of hot water in the morning

A lovely hotel. We stayed here on our way to Alaska. We didn’t get to enjoy the amenities but we hope to come back post COVID-19.

I am disappointed in this hotel came in for a conference. Check in lady gave me the wrong room. So upgraded me at no charge so that was good. But the a/c rattled and clunked and had to turn it off because of the noise.

No comunication was Givin when I checked in about when the amenities where open or what was still tried to order breakfast and no one answered

Chosen because of the hot tub and restaurant. Unfortunately the hot tub was just cleaned had no heat and restaurant was closed before 11.

Lots of experiences in the building.
Not too happy with the banquet food but overly happy with single restaurant experiences. Not too happy with booking events but was treated like royalty when we had a staycation for our anniversary.
It depends what you’re looking for as they can accommodate all most anything but over all, the place shines and falls flat in separate areas.

On arrival at the Pomeroy hotel last night 1st dec, we could not check in as the Aggressive East Indian fella with a fake accent named Ashwin who was smelling full of cigarettes told us that he is fully booked for the night and our room was not booked as we could not provide him a confirmation no.because when we called to reserve a queen suite we forgot to ask for it. We flew from Nova scotia and first here in town for oil patch assignment and I stayed at so many different hotels in alberta but never had to deal with such kinda Unprofessional and terrible attitude. So We ended going and staying at best western as they had a room available right away.

Went for the Halloween Screamer, with Destroyer Canada, a KISS tribute band. Was a great night, the band was spot-on.

Pomeroy shuttle driver named jorlan has been driving rash and overspeeding which is not the 1st time. I wanted to bring it to the attention of respected pomeroy management because this kind of driving is a not safe for the other road users.

Not a bad hotel, alcohol at events are expensive though. You can really pick up speed going down the water slide, it's meant for kids in bathing suits, not large adults in formal clothing. Would slide, slide again.

Rooms are nice if not a bit outdated. Staff is friendly and amicable, would especially like to shout out Tyra who has made our events in the past run quite smoothly.

Great rooms, clean, comfortable and affordable. Customer service is great. The free breakfast is good. I cant think of a single thing to complain about.

Comfortable accommodation, hot breakfast included, and great food in restaurant. Easy to find location and multiple services close by. Great for business travellers.
