Abundant selection for all types of food. Staff was very helpful & informative on product ya and out of stock alternatives.

Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Prices are a little too much in our economy, but I still go for certain things because I know the products they carry, and the friendly staff will answer my many questions.

My partner and I love shopping here! It's our favourite grocery store All of the organic fruits and veg are so beautiful, delicious and I truly am filled with so much joy every time I eat them. They have my favourite purple potatoes and organic Nori (seaweed) sheets for making rolls or even adding to stir frys and soups. One of my favourite parts about Pomme is everyone who works there! They are so kind and compassionate. They're the best humans and we've even made friends from there! Occasionally they have events posted in the front or in the restroom - totally worth checking them out always!

The last time Pomme had a sale, I bought the very desirable medicinal mushroom cacao mix called "KickStart" by Harmonic Arts in a huge package for $50 #BestDealEver

Lovely store with good selection of organic produce that is well priced. Helpful and friendly staff.

This store had a lot of unique products that I have not seen anywhere else and had a great selection of organic natural foods and foods for people with diet restrictions including gluten-free, no carb, zero sugar, etc. And also had a great selection of products that included no genetically modified organisms or preservatives and had a lot of vitamins and minerals. The items they had included fresh veggies to sauces to frozen dinners to prepackaged desserts and snacks as well as plant-based meats or regular meat that was grass-fed / free range. The store was not too busy when I went but it was very close to the closing time. The store was really clean very well stocked with prices and items clearly labeled. Not a super large store but didn't feel crowded. All the staff was so friendly anytime I had a question they answered and they were very knowledgeable about their products and where each product was located and in general just seemed to be happy to be at work. This was a great place to visit for something different and would recommend anybody on a diet of any sort or anybody that is seeking allergy friendly or animal friendly Foods. Also had fair trade items.

I love our Nanaimo Pomme. Tonight they hosted their Ladies Night! I seriously look forward to this event all year. The endless (quality) appies are amazing! The staff serving are so generous and friendly! Food costs are high, as they are everywhere no doubt, but without hesitation i love to purchase my items and support this store.

Thank you so much, friendly staff and I was so happy to find brewers yeast in tablet form in your store. I have been looking EVERYWHERE, nobody carries it EXCEPT your store. Happy momma here

Lovely store. Great selection. Almost no one wearing masks. For this reason will not be returning unfortunately.

Medical mask exemptions is a mask exemption. Face shields are not replacements. Any business that claims they're natural health, then follows sickcare fake science guidelines is not a health store.

Law breakers! Medical mask exemptions are the LAW.the province of bc states and I quote" face shields are NOT a replacement".
Medical mask exemptions are exemptions. Look up the word "exemption" if you're having trouble with the definition. To discriminate against mental health is something you will never come back from, blood on your hands. Falling for this ridiculous farce.

Enjoy your human rights complaints, human rights tribunal just upped the fines from $32k to $72k.
Hope your bank account is deep and your choice to discriminate was worth it.

I like this local organic produce and health food store. Nice fresh veggies and fruit and often great and affordable weekly deals. Huge selection of products, clean store and friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. It's a joy to shop here and I often take my time to explore their assortment.

Very dissatisfied with Pomme. I have been shopping there for years and have usually enjoyed my experience. I recently had some concerns and I wrote to Craig who I believe is part owner of Pomme. Some time has lapsed since I wrote and I have not heard anything from him about my concerns. I would rather shop at a place where my concerns are at least addressed.

I won't be returning to this store after having been a loyal customer for years. The staff member claiming "medical exemption" from wearing a mask, and donning a chin guard instead barged along side me in an aisle. No distancing on her part and no way to move out of her path. Extremely uneducated, selfish and such behaviour is the reason this pandemic is still creeping along. I'd not have patronized this location had I been aware this was the manner in which staff conduct themselves.

Has a great selection of food ranging from gluten free, vegan, vegetarian to meat eating. I love shopping here, and they’re always very helpful and friendly. The prices can be a bit high, but the quality of food is fantastic!

This is an excellent store. Just going in makes a person want to eat healthier. They have a great selection of plant based "meats", which I love. There is always staff asking if help is needed which is rare these days. This is a one stop shop for all groceries and health food items.

If every grocery store was this size, this diversified, this compassionate. We would have much happier plantet and society.

Only place not accepting bottle returns on avalon. Yet it was bought here? !?

My go to store for organic fruits and vegetables and the odd specialty organic item. They have great prices on fruits and veggies.

Plus, they have very friendly staff as Tracy has helped me a few times and I always enjoy having a conversation with her.

Pomme almost always has a decent selection of produce and other alternative products. We have to be dairy and gluten free and we find many products we can use. Pomme is quickly becoming a staple for our household.

Went there for the first time and was really exited for my first organic local store experience on the island but they could definitely improve their bulk section with more pasta varieties and granola maybe, it was really difficult to fill everything in the containers (don’t go there with high or/and containers with small lids) I also saw later that I paid for something I haven’t even brought (filled 4 different containers payed for one more), which is really annoying. I know I should have checked the receipt right after, but u expect to pay more at a organic store those 5 bucks more didn't caught my eye but overall it influenced my first experience in this store and I probably won’t drive again for 40mins to get there
EDIT: I’ve just changed my review from 4 to 5 stars after seeing their plausible response regard ing their bulk section and the kind gesture of a voucher! That’s so nice thank u, I will definitely come again and fill up my containers with all the goodies?

Great store for organic produce, a huge inventory of supplements and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Free parking outside. Prices are a little high but the quality is there.

Since we moved to Nanaimo from Vancouver late last year we have made Pomme our source for everything organic.

Prices are very reasonable for organic groceries. Some reviewers write that Pomme is expensive. Of course it is, if you are comparing Pomme's organic produce to conventional produce. Obviously this isn't a reasonable comparison. If you are content with buying conventional then Pomme isn't the place for you. Prices at Pomme are much cheaper than equivalent stores in Vancouver - Whole Foods, Choices etc.

Staff is friendly. Quality are variety of produce is excellent.
