A wonderful gem that's worth the trip across the river. The cake was incredibly delicate, and the coffee perfectly brewed. I had the chestnut sponge cake and syphon-brewed yirgacheffe.

I love their selections of coffee beans. I love that they have siphon coffee. What bummed me was not being able to -safely- get my coffee fix in the late afternoon here because they don't have decaf: (
Also on some days and certain hours, reservations are reccomended. Pretty unusual for a cafe, but from their menu and overall ambiance it's understandable.

Randomly ended up here looking for a coffee before a long drive two weeks ago and we were so happy we did. Super helpful and genuinely nice and friendly staff, one of the best coffee we've had in a long time. Pomona should be on everyone's radar!

My wife bring me to this coffee shop. She likes tea and the decorations there. The cake, sandwiches, tea and coffee are all good. She took some pictures of this shop.
The staff there are nice and helpful. They pay good attention to the customers. The place is tidy and clean.
My wife told me that she wishes some more fancy chocolate decorations around the cake next time.

Very reasonably priced for what they serve, a siphon coffee and a slice of cake set for a little over $13. I had a tiramisu.
I would love to go back again to try their other coffees.

I got the sundae with my buddy and it was the best sundae I've had in many years. The service was also very hospitable and friendly, very nice:)

This place used to be named Cafe Savoureux, that shut down and reopened as Pomona at a new location a short distance away from the old location. It’s pretty good, nice decorum however not as cozy nor intimate as the previous Cafe Savoureux, and this new location is much bigger and hence much noisier. And service just ok. Coffee and espresso selections are good, as are the Taiwanese style snacks. Nice to see them back in business.

The new coffee shop is a bigger, brighter and more spacious than the shop it used to be. I don't drink coffee but the person I was with ordered one and said it was ok. She didn't try their other options which she will next time. Their menu was limited for brunch, only 3 options. We had breakfast A and B. Very simple place that reminded me of small local coffee shops in Taiwan. Service was really good, environment was very clean. Will try it again for sure and try out their cakes with a cup of tea.or hopefully they will have more menu items to choose from in regards to food.

Pomona Coffee has an airy space, and the service was excellent. However, the coffee was just so so.a bit watery than the usual. They had offered brunches, cakes and pastries. Not a bad place to go gather with friends.

Beautiful café serving delicious cake, coffee and tea in an English-style setting. The service was exceptional. By far the nicest cafe I've been to in Richmond.

This is one of the best tea and coffee shops in Richmond and Vancouver. You can order a large teapot, which has fresh ingredients (I had lots of freshly cut ginger in mine). Many places I have been to do not put fresh ingredients in their pots like Pomona. Also, Pomona's tea pots rest on top of a little candle, which keeps the tea warm, and I have never seen this offered in other cafes around town. Pomona has a very large selection of coffee beans from around the world and this is the only cafe I have been to where you can try the really expensive and rare beans from around the world either by buying the beans or by buying a single cup of coffee. Buying a single cup of coffee made from the expensive beans means you can still try the coffee and yet pay a fraction of what you would pay if you purchased a whole bag of beans. The panini is delicious and comes with some pickles, and I thought the flavour combinations worked well. The atmosphere is relaxing with slow music and European style furnishings, and overall Pomona is a nice and quiet place to meet friends/family or do some studying.

The staff is courteous, friendly and knowledgeable! Since I'm not a hardcore coffee person, I asked the staff for recommendation, and instead of giving me straight up personal opinion. The staff actually asked some questions regarding my coffee drinking habit, type of flavour that I prefer.etc then recommend the top three choices that based on my prefernce!

The interior design is clean, elegant and spacious! And I love the soft jazz / blurs music playing in the bscgkround!

This will be my new to-be-work-place!

Coffee is okay! They’re good at Siphon coffee but not the espresso. The macchiato has too much milk like cappuccino, not the best. The cake are great!

Clean, healthy, yet tasteful brunch and amazing coffee. Service is prompt and servers are friendly and ready to answer every question.

Great service and foods. You can taste a amazing coffee. They provide the new brunch set, cake, tea and siphon coffee too.
