Unfortunately have to change my review. Ordered 14 piece chicken family meal an wanted mild because of kid ne all the chicken was spicy and on top of it I paid for 4 breast upchrge and rhere was non in the box. No one eats spicy at my household so we dumped $38 worth of chicken to grabage. Didn’t want to travel all the way from surrey in this heat to change it

I’ve been to multiple Popeyes in British Columbia & Alberta. I have to say this is the worst Popeyes I’ve been to. The chicken tasted off and I got a few pieces of spicy chicken in my mild order. They missed a sandwich in my order. Then when I got my chicken sandwich. It was mostly batter not chicken so it was extremely dry.

If I ever want Popeyes again. It will not be from this location.

It's a good Popeye's location. It takes advantage of a smart new location to do business.

Decent tasting kids meal.but u keep forgetting my ketchup every time i order.and never give utensils with my side order of mac and cheese and i would rather not have to eat with my hands.thanks

Tasty chicken, however I don't eat much deep fried, so my stomach is not my friend right now, 8 hrs later

Arrived at the store at 10: 30am and told me that everything was gone after ordering. There is still half an hour of business hours, which is too diligent!

I came all the way from Prince George to eat my favorite Popeye's chicken. I have known your chicken to be of big size, tender and juicy. Ordered for 3-pc chicken and to my disappointment, I was given 2 small legs and a thigh. The thigh and the other leg were fine but I am disappointed with how you proportion your chicken pieces with the number of chicken ordered. I was expecting either 2 big size chicken pieces and a leg. With the other leg too, it tasted as if it was recooked. It was dark in color already and tough when chewed. I am not happy with my experience in your branch. Just letting you know.

I had to try the infamous chicken sandwich. I was not disappointed! A nice piece of chicken with really crunchy batter, never had a crisper chicken sandwich

Should be getting 0 stars. I just ordered a 12 piece meal today for lunch. The chicken was just terrible. Super Dry and cold- looks like it was double fried. What a waste of $40.00. The staff is rude and all seem super angry, even there 4 mangers on shift look angry, I guess they all really hate there job. I will never eat at this Popeyes again. I am going to contact there head office at corporate to get a full refund. To the owner of this Popeyes, please do not send me one of your generic email feedbacks as you send the same email to everyone as I don't want to hear it. Its pretty pathetic almost all your reviews say the same thing. Since you really ruined my today I will make sure now everyone that I work with which is hundreds of people don't go to your dried chicken joint and to all go to Churches chicken 5 minutes up Kingsway. I give you another year and you will be closed down going at this rate- Guaranteed.

Foods good. Service is manageable with how busy it is. Definitely needs defined pick up lines and order lines or have aomeone out constantly during peak telling people where to line up. Do wish that the new Ghost Pepper wings were actual hot.

Food was hot and delicious (chicken sandwich, mashed potatoes and a drink) - and we didn't wait for too long. Good choice of drinks as well as a variety of sides. Great service, nice place overall.

I like the efforts of the employees but the Store is extremely busy all the time, you can't get out on time. Very busy which makes the service slow. Chaotic experience but I appreciate employees.

I normally love this place but today they were superrrr slow and I ordered on Popeyes app (mobile order) and even though I reminded them 2 times, they didn’t prepare it. Somehow they skipped mine. So poor staff

My take-out order consisted of 2x 5-piece dark meat legs and thighs.
I received 2 thighs, 1 leg, and 7 fried chicken "breast bones". Way different from what I ordered. All of the 7 fried "ribs and breasts" contained mostly bones and a little dry white meat covered in thick batter. Yes they all went to the garbage. Contacted the manager. Manager sorry for the "inconvenience" but did not admit their error/deception. Manager said can go next time, talk to him, and get 50% off next order. Thanks but no thanks. Everybody makes mistakes; it is okay if an employee packs wrong items. But it is not okay selling inferior products to unsuspecting customers. To me this is dishonest and unethical.

Popeyes was much better in the past!
They changed the perfect sourdough into the chemical bun, the chicken is now too salty and greasy! The sandwich has no tomato and lettuce at all. Such a disappointment! Was one of my favourite places.
2 stars for the coleslaw

Food tastes good but the portions are absolutely tiny. I tried them twice and both times ordered the 3 piece platter and they were the smallest pieces of chicken I have even seen. You couldn't have made 6 chicken nuggets out the 3 pieces they gave me both times. For $14 I also got a half filled thing of fries, a half filled mashed potatoes and a bun with an oversized drink. The amount of food you get for your money is unacceptable.

We have two orders first of one spicy sandwich was missing and we order fries, couple of gravy, chicken popcorn and chicken pcs. And i am very disappointed the chicken pcs and chicken popcorn was very very cold and looks expired.
I had to just threw everything it was not eatable.

Just came in and ordered to go. They didn't pack my sandwich so order was only half done. Thought I didn't need to check it but nope, they are unreliable. Check your orders. Now I'm trying to call and get a refund and no answer.

Despite the food being good, the service is really slow. There's a lack of communication between the staff. The employee sending out orders kept leaving her station and back kitchen was late with fries, tenders and nuggets.

Proper cleanliness at store. Staff was very friendly they helped me out to order. Excellent experience overall. Must visit place.

Has excellent customer service and quickly finishes orders. They're one of the most reliable restaurants when it comes to a friendly family dinner!

Great chicken, loved the biscuits and the mashed potatoes w/ gravy. Gravy is not for everyone, but I like it.

Ordered from here on Saturday, chicken seemed fine when we ate it but was really ill from it in the night. I can only guess that it possibly wasn’t cooked properly (as it was really busy so the food may have been rushed so possibly was under cooked?) or we were just unfortunately given some bad chicken

The Popeyes chicken was a pleasant surprise from other chicken places. The prices were reasonable and nice portions. I have gone back several more times with family and friends,

Clean place, great service and friendly Staff. Its nice that it's close by very convenient for a quick chicken fix.

The food is great, generally hot and fresh. The service is excellent as well. However, the last couple of times we have gone for take out, we have been missing an item. First time I got home and found we were missing a large gravy. I really didn’t want to go back so I tried calling and ended up leaving my contact info and issue. Never received a call back. The other night, I was away and my wife went to get some takeout and when she got home was again missing an item. Guess we are gonna have to start digging thru the bags at the counter to make sure all our items are there. UPDATE… emailed the restaurant as I was asked to do. Coming up now on almost one month with no response. I can see how they want to make things “ right “ Took a little bit of back and forth but they are fixing their mistake. No issues giving them 5 stars

2 stars because the chicken itself was tasty, although inconsistent. I've had the chicken twice, it was like two completely different products.

Service was pretty bad. Lots of slow moving staff who look miserable and don't seem to be keen at all to help customers. If it was just one employee, I'd blame the employee, but it was eveyone, so.

Store layout is not conducive to covid safety, with the pickup area, pop fountains, staff entrance and garbage all packed into the same corner. Social distancing is impossible.

In spite of having spicy versions of menu items, literally every single thing on the menu is spicy.even the not-spicy option is spicy. To put this in perspective: the fries, spicy; onion rings, spicy; popcorn shrimp, spicy; gravy, spicy; poutine, spicy. If you're sensitive to spice, don't eat here.

Great food, but I waited more than half an hour for my food. They seemed to have forgotten about me until I went up and complained.

It’s such a busy place, the employees there are all in frantic mode. Do not expect to grab and go quickly. There’s a long wait if you are unlucky like me. It seemed like if you ordered chicken sandwich or something typical, service was pretty fast - at an acceptable speed, but I saw people having to wait 20+ minutes for their food.
The tables are open now but there were way more customers lining up to pick up their food to go.
Might I add.their food is way superior than other fast food places.everything was delish, and probably wasn’t sitting around for a long time because of the high turnover

Line up at the store Sunday at noon. Servers were fairly efficient. Had the spicy chicken sandwich. It is very tasty but on the salty side. Will try other items next time.

The wait was long. The chicken was dry. They missed a side that we ordered. Based on this one experience, I wouldn't go back since there are tons of fried chicken options available.

Spice was good. Biscuit and onion rings are tasty.
But chickens & popcorn shrimps are just way too Salty. Shrimps are tiny and they were mostly batter.
Cashier was super kind, but the order took really really long. The food preparation and packing lines didn’t seem coordinated.

I found the place so noisy I couldn't hear the staff talking to me. The food was so spicy I threw most of it away, and I didn't order the spicy version. I won't be going back

Great service from the staff. I ordered the chicken sandwich and the spicy 2-piece combo. The chicken sandwich was the best I've ever had from a fast food restaurant. The fried chicken wasn't greasy either. The restaurant was very clean as well.

As delicious as I remember it from living in Portland. Fast service. Great food!

The only problem with this location is that it is incredibly loud inside. Between the commercial exhaust fans and the staff yelling out orders that are ready, it is deafening in there. I can't imagine dining in! We actually struggled to place our order as we couldn't even hear what the staff were saying to us.

The main problem is that the inside has been completely constructed of hard, acoustically reflective surfaces. We observed that the louder the staff yelled out the completed order numbers, the harder it was to understand them as it just echoed more!

If I was the owner, I'd definitely want remedy the acoustics. Of course none of that affects the quality of the food, which was delicious! It does, however, make for a visit less pleasant than it should be.

Rajwinder (Team Leader) was great! She had an exceptional customer service skills. We were very late and came in after hours, she still took us in the store and made the fresh chicken for us. We felt so bad that she had to work extra for us. Rajwinder deserves a promotion or atleast a better position than what she is right now. Will definitely make this Popeyes a primary store just because of her.

I ordered three pieces. One-piece, tight was good. However, the other two pieces, the chicken drumstick was the worst. I was shocked. I won't return anymore.

Friendly and well trained staff and great fried chicken! Good job to the staff who managed the opening frenzy really well!

I ordered takeout and noticed when I got home that I was missing my chicken burger. I called and spoke to Rajwinder and she said I could get my burger the next time I come in. She took my name and receipt number for her records and there was no issues when I went back to collect my burger. Great fried chicken and even better customer service. Can't go wrong eating at Popeyes for take out or dine in. Thanks again Raj*****

My son was excited to see a Popeyes so close to home and we loved it in the USA. We thought it was very good, no complaints. Service was fast and efficient. The only thing that would be nice is lettuce on the burgers! We will bring our own next time!

The BEST Chicken. Far surpasses competition out there. Coleslaw is amazing. Great value for your $$$$
If I could give this a 10 Star I would.

Great chicken and promt staff. The worst thing is the noise level inside its very hard to hear when placing a order and staff repeating it back to you. The noise db level must be over the allowed Worksafe code. There needs buffering as you cannot carry on a conversation! Why is staff eating in same area as customers which are taking away from paying customers as today 2 staff sitting singularly at two tables and one was tying up a table for 5 and people waiting to sit!
These issues need to be addressed with Corporate office! Thanks.

I came today at exactly 10: 55pm at the store and all of the cashiers, kitchen crews and the store supervisor are very friendly, warm and still full of energy despite its already closing time. My family was so delighted of the freebies I got from the staff. We enjoyed chicken sandwiches and butterfly shrimp I bought because of its delicious, warm and crispy. I am going back again next Friday to buy 12 pieces of Popeye spicy chicken and with sidings too.

Sorry but l am not happy with the food. I asked if the food was spicy? They said no. I said that we have a medical condition and can not have spicy food. But w when l got home. Dang the food was very spicy. And my sisters kids where really suffering badly in their stomachs.
Second. They clerk asked me if I was interested in their popcorn shrimp. I was really shocked to see the popcorn shrimp. It was spicy and was small pieces. I work with shrimp and these where not whole shrimp.
This Popeyes chicken is not as good as it use to be.

So glad Popeyes opened a location near Burnaby so we don't have to drive to poco or richmond anymore. Food here is consistent with other locations and great as usual. However, the lines are very very long, hopefully it'll get better after.

Waits are still quite long for the 3 times I've gone here so far. Butterfly shrimp is also super tiny and nothing like the pictures but they tasted fine. Food tasted good overall. My friend had to clean/wipe down our table today though since it didn't seem like they had enough people to do it.

Long line up, big order made, great prices, friendly staff, noisy environment, be prepared to wait outside in this hotel Fri night 25th june. Overall great opening

The food is amazing! Come here fairly often now, service is always quick even when there’s a line and the staff is super friendly too.

Today I ordered some chicken and wings. The wings aren’t fresh they have a bad smell, the bones are very dark. I couldn’t eat what I’ve ordered the fries in the poutine wasn’t fresh as well. This was unexpected as other locations prepare AMAZING food. Btw I didn’t want to post this here but I tried calling the restaurant but you guys didn’t answer.
