Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Stopped for lunch while shopping today, ordered the original combo. I substituted spicy mayo for regular mayo on the sandwich, and got Cajun fries with blackened ranch dip. Absolutely delicious Food was fresh and hot, service was friendly and fast. Best chicken sandwich I've had in awhile! 5 stars

Omg totally worth the drive and the wait…! I finally was able to find Popeyes and it’s so tasty and excellent deals and great variety of options…. It’s also a good drive to get out of the city and try some excellent tasting chicken and I’m very picky with my chicken …. Before Popeyes I would only eat KFC…. Until now woohoo we will be back i just hope they get a Popeyes on Granville or Broadway and commercial area or even better near Hastings and Clark area

They offer a $33 Holiday meal- 10 pieces chicken (mix of thighs, drumstick & wing), 6 biscuits and 2 large sides. Sauces are available for an extra 30 cents each (I recommend bayou barbecue, Mardi Gras mustard was terrible). Honestly the chicken was fresh and delicious. Fries were good as well but very salty. Biscuits were good as but one was enough for me. The mac and cheese was rich and velvety, but the tasted exactly like kraft dinner cheese. It was decently crowded when I came in but I found the line to be moving very quick- was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Overall very impressed.

That was the best fast food service ive had in a long time. They were super busy and the food was fast and fresh and they didnt mess anything up. They were polite and professional and everyone was working hard.
You never see that anymore. Good job. Ill be back foresure.

Happened to be here after seeing people lining up outside the store for their grand opening! Place was very busy but they still managed to serve efficiently! There must’ve been like 20+ staffs working, there was even someone greeting customers! Unfortunately they don’t have drive-thru at this location, but you’ll find the place nice and warm!

Great customer service. Food was served nice and hot. Everyone there looked like they were there to do a job instead of looking like they are just there. They got a tough job dealing with people hungry and to have a smile regardless is great and that's my reason for 5 stars.

Delicious and juicy fried chicken, very hot, spicy is not too hot. It is a good choice.

New opening Many people may not have seats when dining, you can order for togo.

Recycling & organic bins with garbage sorting are very good

Chicken was okay - I had a 4 piece meal however 1 piece was very dry (threw it away)

Mashpotatoes: They were okay - nothing too special, a bit upset on the size content

Corn on the cob: FANTASTIC - I will be coming back again just for the corn on the cob

Drink size: : Very large for a medium - good value for the amount paid.

Area seemed pretty clean as well.

Overhyped. It's no better than churches, if not worse.best thing about it was the rice and beans.way better chicken places out there, even duffins donuts has better chicken.and if u like korean fried chicken there's like 10 places that are way better than popeyes.

Not as good as the American stores, probably due the grand opening. Chicken was either a bit hard and biscuits dense.

I had Popeyes when they were in Coquitlam, they closed and many years later this new location opened. Lots of parking available, the line was out the door, the staff helped coordinate everyone so no one had to wait outside which was super nice of him. The line up goes quick which was such a pleasant surprise.

The food was ordered, staff super polite, we ate in, the food was absolutely amazing! We had the half and half (spicy and mild) chicken and that was awesome! Cajun fries were to die for! Mashed potatoes were really good! For as busy as Popeyes were, the inside, it was very relaxed and chill. No one was in a rush. It was a very pleasant experience.

I will definitely be going back there, worth the drive from Burnaby for sure! Thank you guys keep up the great work!

SALT! SALT! SALT! That's all you taste. Dry and extremely salty chicken, dried out biscuits, msg laden. Never again. Overpriced garbage. Sorry, I'm not going to sugar coat it, but they should, because sugar might taste a miniscule bit better. I'll stick to home made.

Chicken tenders are so good! I like the fact that Popeyes offers platters with smaller sized onion rings, corn, etc. You need some patience while waiting for your order to be ready. It is not FAST food tho.

Opening Day. Amazing chicken. Very efficiently managed the crowd. Definately worth coming here fpr some awesome food.

Wow! 5 stars with flying colors. I bought mild chicken family meal. The chicken was extremely juicy and tender, the coating was amazingly crunchy and flavorful. Popeyes is a very strong contender for the top spot for fried chicken to me. This conclusion is based on visits of numerous fried chicken joints in BC. Inalways have the original, accorsongly compared to KFC: less oily, compared to churches chicken: more juicy and more flavor. Compared to LA chicken: more flavor.
However, I strongly recommend it is in the shop ornament few minutes from pickup time as the entire experience fizzles when it cools down.
Hope they open branches elsewhere and keep up the great taste and quality.

Went on the 2nd week of grand opening. The place was jam packed but the line moved relatively quickly for the amount of people in the restaurant. Ordered 3 piece chicken combo that came with a drink, biscuit and my side was cajun fries. The chicken was piping hot, but was not spicy at all. Matter of fact the flavor wasn't all together there. I prefer Churches still. The biscuit was great though; moist and buttery. The fries were soggy and stale - still needs some work. All in all, the service was fast but the flavors need some tweaking!

Chicken was fresh as expected Popeye's quality. Service was excellent, there were up to 20 kitchen staff assembling everything and front of house staff consistently cleaning up tables and greeting at the door. Line up was organised for opening day; 30 minutes total from entering to getting food.

Ordered a (to go) box of mildly spiced fried chicken thighs. Staff was great and I did not wait for long. Seems salty but crunchy and juicy. No special sauce or gravy. Only ketchup and hot sauce were provided.

I was first in line for opening day, despite the crowd and newness of everything it was still amazing service that didn't take too long. And I ordered 8 5 piece tenders and it was still quick. Would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

Coming from ON, I truly missed Popeye's. Although the place can be easily packed and the line can be long, I would consider this as a good thing since I found my food to be warmer and freshly cooked than some of the Popeye's I visited in ON. The workers are also hard working and nice as well:)

Oh my god. It’s about damn time. The line is out the door, but I don’t care.

Thankfully it isn’t like the episode of the Boondocks, where the chicken runs out.

They stay well stocked, and are extremely efficient.

My experience is the opposite of pic below.

Good to have Popeyes back again. Food was great and service was quick even though they were pretty busy when I went.

I was very excited when I found out a Popeyes was opening up locally. Tonight was the first visit and I was pretty disappointed. While the chicken was crispy and juicy, all you taste is salt. The Cajun fries were just plain salt and pepper and the Mac & Cheese tasted like cheese whiz. I’d say this isn’t anything special and is on or with Church’s and KFC. I’ll be back, but I won’t be going out of my way like I did tonight.

Good food however disappointed with the service. Asked the lady at the counter to confirm if my order was complete and upon reaching home found that they messed up the order and forgot to include the mashed potatoes that we ordered.
