Awsome place, i really recommend, way better kitchen than in kfc. Sweet stuff and very fast performance

Nice staff and delicious food. There are many options to choose from.
Easy parking. I ordered online and went to pick it up. I didn't have to wait long for my food.
The quality and taste are still amazing.

Edit: Was very pleased with the manager who reached out to me promptly to apologize for the previous service I received and the opportunity to correct it. On my next visit, all the food was made very fresh and hot and was great.

Been to multiple Popeyes locations in the Lower Mainland and this is the worst. Said my order would take 7 minutes and I waited around 15-20. The fries were cold and soggy and the wings were very dry and hardly any sauce. The only thing that was good was the pie.

I arrived at 8: 12pm to see the mgr sitting outside on the curb, there was only 2 guests in front of me, yet it took 18 minutes to take their order. I ordered a 4 piece meal with mashed, she gave me a small gravy and no mashed potatoes? You have a special on for 4 pies, but they had no pies made, and said it would be 7 min to cook more? I've been going there since it opened, and the service and quality has gone down enough for me to go elsewhere. So disappointing. And to top it all off, they have mice running all over the place at the parking lot entrance. Don't go there!

So. I did mobile order somehow they missed one item. So I asked the staff to give me an apple pie for the inconvenience since I had come all the way back from home. The staff asked the manager he was so loud and rude to the staff said "we don't give free food" and also if the guest which is me wants one apple pie instead of The Blackened chicken deluxe burger which " I paid $9.49plus tax and he wants to replaced with $1.89 for an apple pie. What kind of customer service is that.while I was waiting he was so loud and rude to the staff in front of the guest.where's he's work ethics. Dated 15th July 2023.6: 30pm

I visited popeye's June 17th at 2 PM, the cashier who was taking the order, She was coughing and was not wearing a mask. Then she went on to make Sandwich with the same glove she was touching all over the place on the counter.
No hygiene whatsoever!

If you are looking for the most WORST FAST FOOD PLACE experience, this is the place! We had a blast and the team here were so convincing! They even gave me mashed potato’s instead of fries, and 1 fork for 5 items needing forks! Haha! Classic. The best part, they extended our wait to 20 minutes! Haha, damn hilarious! 5 stars all the way. I highly recommend!

Service was horrible and food was cold and greasy. No choices for dipping sauce though 4 or 5 were offered on the menu. I will never eat here again.

Love this establishment! We always custom order and they always get it correct and it tastes fresh, hot and delicious every time.

I have to say that Popeye's chicken is probably the best over the rest as far as taste and especially the crispiness of their chicken.

I had tried it for the first time about 9 months ago in Richmond, where I previously lived. Unfortunately, I had to move to Whiterock and was afraid I wouldn't have the opportunity to treat myself.: (

To my surprise, I came across a franchise in Whiterock which made me happy! I frequent this establishment whenever I need my fried chicken fix. The staff here are all very friendly, fast and efficient. I've never had to wait long for my order.

So, to all you fried chicken lover's out there. If you haven't tried Popeye's chicken yet, do yourself a favor and try it. You won't regret it

This popeyes is probably one of the highest rated in Canada and it definitely deserves its rating. Food is almost fresh, they answer their phone and ACTUALLY take your order and have it ready on time.

I know the bar sounds really low here, but given the competition among other stores within the franchise, they are much further ahead of the rest.

They have Best chicken sandwiches and love shrimp and I really really recommend to everyone to give try to this Popeyes and really worth it.

Sandwich and fries were okay. However, the place was dirty and the floor was wet. This branch needs better cleaning.

Always running with short staff. Food preparation time is extremely high. You get your order after 20min which not normal for any fast food restaurants.
Wait time should be 5-10min max for regular order.

I really like the service there are people who are very welcoming front staff I saw name bien and Ranveet who are working on my order then their cooks come from kitchen to help them i specially I asked him name (jagrat) great job guys….

After months of walking our dog by this establishment and always saying “ we’ve got to check this place out” we finally did. It was busy as it always seems to be. We found the young man who took our order polite and personable. Then we waited for our order. I thought people were getting their food in a reasonable amount time The young lady packing the meals was calm and pleasant. We took our food to go. The food was beyond our expectations. We both thought the onion rings were the best we’d ever had. The chicken sandwiches were awesome. And the pies the young man up sold us on were the best in the fast food industry. Our first thoughts upon finishing the meal was that we have to go there more often. I applaud the management of this franchise. Well done!

Great place for a snack before heading to the beach. Always a favorite since I got hooked on the down in the southern US. I was so happy when they came to Canada.

Good service. They get really busy and they do a great job keeping up. The chicken is well, you already know. Its Popeyes!

Great food and service. Only complaint was that all the tables clearly hadn't been cleaned in quite a while and all had food crumbs all over them.

Poorly run franchise. I witnessed a nice Korean family wait 30 minutes for their order while others got quick service. This really bothered me. The shift manager was rude, bossy to her employees and her mask was always under her nose.

I've been here 3 separate times now. I keep hoping my bad experiences are an isolated incident and giving them another chance (based on liking the food from a different Popeye's location)
All 3 times I've been here, they've gotten my order wrong. Either missed things, or just not given me what I've asked for. On top of that, the food only tastes okay.

Definitely won't be going back here. I feel like I'm just wasting money every time I do. I didn't even manage to finish my meal tonight.it was just that bad.

What’s the deal? Popeyes cutting the chicken Breast in a bazaar way that leaves very little meat on the breast! So you get mostly Ribs. Almost as if meat slid off the bones! Nothing but breading and skin and 2 bites of dry chicken!
Fries were 1/3 of the box as if the box was supposed to be part of a meal box.
Check your order before you leave!

Food is good other than the onion rings often being a bit soft/undercooked. My main complaint is that multiple times when I request the chicken to be a certain mix of dark/white meat and spicy/mild, what I actually receive is not what I ordered. The worst case was my most recent visit when I requested half dark/spicy and half white/mild and received all dark spicy.

I will be trying a different location next time or another place altogether.

With all the inflation, companies should be careful about increasing their cost but also reducing their quality at the same time. I understand people need to make money back after Covid but be careful.

Paid 45 dollars for a 12 piece. Mentioned I preferred white meat…and got literally only 2 thighs, all the rest legs and wings. Not a single piece of white breast meat at all. Not the first time this has happened. Will not waste money there again.

Edit: the owner reached out to me to give them a second chance. A store willing to accept responsibility for a bad service and the want to learn from it, is very valuable.

Haven't even ordered here yet just sitting across the street deciding what to treat myself to dinner since I won't have time to cook and the reviews say don't waste what cash you have. Thank you honest reviewers and thank you to the owner for his blanket response to all bad reviews not addressing their complaints I will not be spending a dime here.

Its beta while since I had Popeyes chicken. Last time was in Mississauga so I'm glad they finally came here. The white Rock location was busy on a Friday night. However staff was doing the best to keep the customers happy. Food was nice and hot and don't forget spicy. Will be going again for sure. Try it out.

Well, the food was good, service was decent, but I'm currently eating my chicken dry as I didn't receive my sauces and already drove back to work before seeing they had forgotten them. Next time I will be sure to check.

This fast food joint, occupying the space formerly inhabited by Fatburger, was a hit with family. My kids, ranging between 2 and 10, loved their meal of fried chicken, mashed potato, fried and rice/beans. The dipping sauces were tasty and fun. Staff were friendly and keen to please, although seemed a little fresh to the job, which makes sense given they only recently opened. While the chicken will not beat Uli's mouth watering fare the bill at end did by some margin. Personally I never felt like taking my kids to KFC but I certainly will be returning here with my family. Keep up the good work Popeyes!

Chicken Tenders great. 2nd time there where Coke Zero fountain drink no functioning on both fountains - poor show, otherwise Popeyes better than it's competitors.

I am giving this location full five stars. Why? Because whenever I come to this location the service is ALWAYS exceptionally accurate, no questions asked for modifications ever, and timely, regardless of how busy they are. The chicken is fresh not pre-done in the morning and have it sit around in a heating tray of sorts like other location in Surrey that I have gone to. The chicken sandwich is actually proper size as well and not flattened. It is consistent every time and that is hard to find. The only down side is that Popeyes Canada doesn't offer coupons like KFC does. Having said that, coupons will arrive with time. Its worth the extra money to grab Popeyes if your a deep fried chicken lover! Keep up the exceptional service and quality South Surrey location! See you again soon.

Food took 30 minutes to be made, after being told 5-6 minutes when we ordered. Sides are disappointing.poutine and onion rings are soggy, mac and cheese tastes SUPER processed, fries and chicken were the only part I was relatively happy with. Their "spicy" chicken tastes just like the regular stuff though.

Efficient and friendly service. Nice to see them take over the fried chicken business. Especially now that a former historical establishment nearby of 40-odd years in White Rock has closed its doors, following their refusal to repair the iconic bucket sign. Anyways, the place could use more seating. Parking has always been ample in the back. The Creole chicken sandwich is quite tasty.

Even if you aren't a fan of chicken, their cajun fish and other non-chicken items combined with their incredible tasting sauces are worth an experience. The area they are located in is up and coming with some competing options around them but they are on their toes and their service and quality so far has been consistently excellent. I love their cajun fish burger! Best in town I'd say. Keep going!

Popeyes without the classic sandwich is not Popeyes. I'm so frustrated that you guys still don't have the same sandwich quality as Popeyes US!
I would suggest that the owner visits the nearest US location and try the classic sandwich so he can tell the difference.

We like to buy their fried chicken. And the taste soooo good. However, the first time to be this store, they totally disappeared me. Waiting for over half hour, even some of customers behind me to order their food who can get food before me. Next, I ordered all dark meat, after I got home, there was a lot breast meat and whole wings in the box. Wasted my money.
