Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Yesterday I was at this Richmond outlet, placed my order with the manager Clair, my order was family meal 6 sandwiches, 3 shrimp popcorn 3 ghost wings, 3 large fries, 5 apple pies, it was fairly a large order, yesterday when the family consumed it everyone was complaining about the weird taste and some thing was not right.
Today the whole family is sick with vomiting, diarrhea, stomach upsets,
Will never visit this place again, done with the taste of Popeye's, even thinking of it makes the family sick.

The food here is really good and tasty.
Shakir and all the staff works at this location are friendly.

I really enjoyed both the food and the service. This location was quite clean, the staff were very cordial and helpful. The food as always fresh, and out of all the fast food fried chicken place, I gotta say this is the best.

Sorry, Colonel, Popeye's chicken blows all fast food so called chicken sandwiches into the weeds. Sandwich is tender, juicy and spiced perfectly. You might want to get 2 because by the time you are finished you will definitely want another.

Finally decided to try Popeyes after all these years. It was good but I wouldn't say it was better than KFC or Churches. The chicken tasted pretty good but I found the white meat to be pretty dry. I would order all dark meat if I could. Their buttermilk biscuits was a bit on the dry side. The best part of the meal was their Cajun Fries. I loved the taste and somehow it stayed crispy when I got home. Their prices are also higher than KFC or Churches. My 8 piece, fries and biscuits came to $30. Just for comparison, at this time, I can get a 8 pieces, Med popcorn and fries at KFC for under $20 and an 8 piece meal with fries and gravy at Churches is $23. Would I buy their chicken again? Yeah, but I wouldn't wait 15min outside in the snow again.

Boney and dry chicken. Onion rings were soggy and not crisp. They forgot the mac and cheese side dish. I would recommend High Five instead at Main and Marine.

line up was not long we waited for 20minutes outside food was good though i feel the chicken was a little over cooked and the onion rings weren’t the best the fries were delicious we will be coming back soon

I heard so much about Popeyes but didn't have the courage to make the long line! I finally went to try and I understand why it's so famous! Their fried chicken is definitely one of the best and their sandwich is good, even though a little bit too spicy and I miss having a bit of lettuce or slaw. The Cajun Poutine is delicious but I've been really disappointed by the size of the portion. I think it's not worth the price as it's way too small for what you pay for.

Very busy and popular spot. Be prepared to wait in line for 30 mins or so.

It is crowded and the ordering system and organization of the people inside for COVID safety is a bit Chaotic.

The lady at the till was friendly and she was good at her job. The food is amazing

The chicken is really good! Crunchy, tasty, juicy. Staff is fast and friendly. So, based on that it would have been a 5. And then I tasted the sides, the mac’n cheese is like bad KD. Coleslaw should not taste like it was soaked in sugar. The biscuits are too sweet and taste like lard. So, go for the chicken but get your sides somewhere else.

No more lineups, still no dine in, chicken is quite good but I'll stay away from the fish & shrimp choices, found it too dry to taste.

Don't order with skip.this is a message to the owners.they are scamming your customers.it took almost 2 hours for them to deliver my meal. I live 5 minutes away.

The spicy chicken sandwich is simply my favorite item across all menus of any fast food restaurant. Feels like someone slapped you in face with comfort. I wouldn't sleep on the fried chicken either, but Church's has a better recipe in my opinion.

I ordered the rip n chicken box, it only had one piece of chicken and my order did not include the sauce I requested. Definitely not worth what I paid for and seems like false advertising. I called their phone number to let them know they forgot my sauce and they hung up on me after waiting a long time for them to pick up.

Service was great, they don't rush you at all. Just tell them what you want and they will give you the best deal available. Minus one star because the chicken and fries were a bit on the oily side.

Food is tasty, service is always friendly and as fast as they can possibly go (given the covid times and lines). Great teamwork to keep customers happy. Thank you!

My bf walked out because the girl at the register couldn't figure out what three #6 combos meant. She thought six, 3 peice combos then thought 3,6 peice? One attempt the order ended up $77! Each combo is 8.99.so finally my bf gave up when she delete everything and put in 2 combos. He asked for 3. They wasted 10 minutes getting knowhere. I don't blame him for walking out!

The lines long enough as is, learn your own menu and if you are having issues ask your co-workers for help!

Delicious chicken. I've been a fan of KFC for years but it seems their quality is slowly going downhill. Biscuits were dry but who's going there for biscuits. Onion rings, fries and gravy were great. Would have been five stars except for the lineup.

Very long line up always! The best time to come is late at night or early in the morning. Don't come around lunch time, big mistake! Good food.

Not the healthiest choice of food, but good to indulge once in a while.

Best chicken in town.
Chicken was absolutely delicious and the staff was friendly. Will definitely go back again.

We ordered twice thru ubereats and both times they missed some items from our order which is quite disappointing, I waited for about an hr for our order and was excited to enjoy the meal but it’s really disappointing to see the portion of the meal and found that I’m missing the sides of my combo and 1 regular order and given that we order in the same week, the odds of getting a missed item is low but not with them.
