The eggs Benedicts hollandaise sauce was tasteless and the "smoked salmon" tasted like it was stored in a mason jar of water.

Three stars because the staff were friendly and the eggs were at least cooked nicely.

This is my go to in Campbell River. Farm fresh eggs for breakfast, very generous serving, homemade sauces, healthy lunch choices. Yummy' Great Service'.

Staff are very kind but the food was burnt and I received blond hairs in my hollandaise sauce

Our waitress was rude, the food wasn’t great and took for ever. I asked for a ginger ale and she said she didn’t have any later to see up at the counter that there was in fact gingerale in the fridge. I’m not going back and won’t be recommending to go here.

Great place for breakfast, made with love and served by people who are patriots who don't discriminate against their fellow Canadians! Swerve the chain restaurants and support your fellow Campbell Riverites!

Table was filthy, both food orders were incorrect and fairly bland. Waitress was great so they got one star

Went for breakfast with my sister and niece. There was no one sitting when we arrived do we ordered than people came in and sat too close all around us. It is NOT A COVID save place to eat.

A good place to get a decent breakfast in this town, the food did take quite a long time to reach our table even though the restaurant was not very busy

Great traditional breakfast! Super friendly and fast service. Fresh coffee and reasonable prices. Without of the way but clearly locals love it! We will be back

Super good soups and sandwiches! Alongside a good menu of Egg's Benedict. Family style restaurant that is sure to make you feel at home when you sit down.

Great service today. It was slow to get service & food, but our server rolled qith it like a pro.
We ordered 2 patty melts & fish and chips. Patty melts were so underwhelming. A small patty, with a few half cooked onions, and the beef barley soup lacked flavor & depth. The fish had a strong fishy smell that is not usual for fish & chips. We were looking for greasy comfirt fiod, & they did not deliver.

Really good food soo good but it was very busy and took a while. IK it's not their fault but still giving 4 stars.

These guys have the best onion rings. Ate here several times, always top notch. Great food, awesome staff! Very covid safe.

Great service and food. Had one dish go back and they were extremely understanding on our issues. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. We will be back for sure. Lunch lasted all day. Thanks.

The food was good, super busy when we were here, and we had a large group, but the waitress did a good job

I got there early Sunday morning. I was passing through and thought I’d go to a quiet local place. I was wrong on the quiet. 6am on a Sunday and this place was bumping. Food was great and portions were large. I had the eggs benny. Cool setting, log cabin feel. Paid my bill and back on the road. Was there for less than an hour.

I do Sunday morning breakfast here. I meet up with family and we chat. The food on occasion is excellent but lately just OK.

It is busy Sunday lunch hour, so service is a bit lacking. Food tasted great. BUT they ran out of too many food items. Management needs to reevaluate food stocks ahead of the weekend. There were multiple black boards displaying the daily feature, but they were out of 2/3 items. (so erase them) Also heard waitress listing off other items not available: steak, smoked salmon. That is not good.

Just what we wanted. Perfect experience. Is exactly what it is. Highly reccomend as a comfort food joint

Great service. Just great. But today I had to walk out while I was waiting for my meal I was waiting and there was a huge fly on the window beside me. So I stood up to another spot and there was another fly, so i killed it. A minute later another fly came to the window and I looked around and realized there was several large flys everywhere and the window was filthy hasn’t been cleaned forever dead flys lying around from previous peoples, flys mean maggots means I’m not paying cash to go there sorry

Amazing food, some of the best diner style food in all of Western Canada. Definitely a local hidden gem. Monte Cristo sandwich, chicken cordon bleu burger, poutines, chowder, you name it they have it and it's excellent.

Service started off a bit rocky but the restaurant was packed. As soon as some of the tables cleared out, our server seemed much more relaxed (we had a party of 11). Our family will definitely come back.

Very good service great meal. If you like that good old home cook meal/feel, you'll enjoy Popsey.

Reasonably priced breakfast. The food was fantastic and the waitress had an awesome personality!

The waitress was absolutely wonderful, it was extremely busy, but she made sure all of the people were looked after

Staff were inattentive. Food was alright to poor. Just not impressed. Womens bathroom needs a redesign and doors that you can lock

The bread on the sandwich totally fell apart when i tried to pick it up.and it was expensive for a crumbling sandwich.

The hash browns in my breakfast were the worst I have ever had - what wasn't obviously old and overcooked wasn't cooked. And the waitress admitted that they were not freshly prepared. She did take money off and was gracious about it. She did her job but I wish the cooks had done theirs. The sausages were undercooked, the pancake stodgy and the presentation smacked of a lack of care - when do you put the food on top of the garnish?
The whole place looked as if it were struggling - display cases with empty shelves or near empty, with pies and desserts tightly wrapped under plastic made you wonder how long they had been there.
My advice would be to.look elsewhere
