I've been going here twice a week for a few months and it's been fantastic. I'm feeling stronger and more confident. I have been working with Anna, Jack and Thomas and they all keep the workouts fun and challenging. They change up the exercises regularly to keep things fresh. I'm very happy with my experience.

I'm really grateful for finding this place. I never worked out before and needed guidance to put me on the path to success. Working with Lindsay has been an excellent experience and I'm already seeing immediate results. Each workout gives me more motivation to keep on track and meet my weight loss goals.

My partner and I have been doing tandem training with Jack for the past few months and we agree he's the best trainer we've had! JAX Fitness provided us with an awesome training plan and it's been awesome to look and feel stronger over the past few months. The rates for tandem training are awesome and makes it more fun to do it as a duo. Can't recommend JAX Fitness enough!

I've been training with Jack for just two months, but he is amazing! I'd never had a personal trainer before and was always skeptical about getting one, but it's been a fantastic experience so far. He's muy bueno at teaching me the techniques and has a knack for subtly adding more weights, constantly pushing my limits. I always leave the gym exhausted but with a strong sense of accomplishment. Jack is extremely talented - and I highly recommend him if you’re looking for a personal trainer. He creates engaging work out plans, gears them all around recommendations and treatment plans from my Physio. Even when the motivation is low, he keeps you captivated. All around great guy! Go see him!

Jack is the best! He has helped me work through post abdominal surgery with a workable yet challenging exercise routine. He checks in with me regularly. He is kind, caring, knowledgeable and likes to have a good laugh.

Highly recommend! I’ve been training with Jack for almost 6 months now and have noticed a huge difference in my strength and confidence in the gym. I recently started working with Masi, and I can confidently say that she is an amazing personal trainer. From our first session, it was clear that Masi had a deep understanding of fitness and wellness and was able to create a personalized workout plan that plan that aligns with my abilities.

Before working with Masi, I struggled with traditional cardio workouts like running on the treadmill. Thankfully, Masi introduced me to HIIT sessions, which we do once a week. I've found this approach to be much more effective and enjoyable than my previous routine. Thanks to Masi's expertise, I'm now able to push myself harder and achieve better results.

Jack and Anna are amazing trainers. I have been working out with them for 4 months now and have seen amazing results. Jack is great at incorporating exercises that you love but will also identify and create an exercise plan for areas that are weaker for you (core for me) to get optimal results. Moreover, jack is great at creating personalized plans so that you can continue to workout on your own in conjunction with training sessions to get results!

I have been seeing Jack since March 2022, and Anna since late spring 2022. They are both great. I am someone who is not that naturally comfortable in the gym, and so it’s been great seeing two trainers who are both super encouraging/supportive and knowledgeable (but also push me to improve and ensure I have proper form). I have done personal training at other places (ie “big box” store fitness gyms) and I find the quality of the training (and the relationship) is much better at Postiga. I have a few injuries, so I am more complicated than the average person from the point of view of appropriate exercises and that is fully considered when making my training plan. They switch up the exercises in my training plan frequently enough that my workouts don’t feel repetitive. I don’t love going to the gym to work out on other days (like I said not a gym person), so Jack made a separate program based on the gear I have at home for home work outs, which I really appreciate. In addition to one on one personal training I have done group training with Jack and he manages the group really well (in addition to being encouraging, and knowledgeable, he is also really organized). Jack has also had conversations with me about optimal nutrition and it’s made me more aware of the importance of diet in attaining fitness goals/overall health and is something I am now working on. Bottom line- I am super happy with the gains I have had since starting personal training at Postiga fitness.

I was initially referred to Jack at Postiga due to lower back issues and sciatic nerve pain. He helped identify why this was happening and tailored a workout plan so I could build strength in the areas I was lacking so it wouldn’t react this way anymore. I worked with him one day a week and followed is plan on my own the rest of the week. I never realized how much I was actually doing wrong until I started training with him. He was attentive and used a lot of his personal time to make sure I was on the right track. I learned so much in my sessions with him and have never felt better. I would 100% refer anyone I know to him for both rehab and personal training.

Jack is a fantastic person trainer. He very clearly know his stuff and how to tailor programs for each individual. He is extremely attentive to injuries or areas of concern and helping people gain strength and mobility through proper, rehabilitative exercises. The environment itself is great and feels calm, supportive, and safe. There is absolutely no pressure to be or look certain way, no attitude or ego you may face at some gyms. You can just focus on your exercises and goals. It’s a really positive experience all around.

After experiencing awful and seemingly never ending lower back/si pain through the course of the pandemic (which left me feeling nothing like myself, wondering if I’d ever feel normal again), I started training with with Jack! He tailored a plan for me that's helped me to not only gain strength, stability, and mobility after my injury, but has also helped me understand and appreciate overall strength training. Jack is absolutely fantastic, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and super pleasant to train with. I feel stronger, healthier and definitely happier! It's the days that I forget I ever had pain at all that I couldn't be more grateful for having such an amazing trainer!

I have been working out with Jack at Postiga since February and I cannot recommend going here enough. The plan that Jack created was well suited to my goals while accounting for the fact that I didnt have gym expierence. Since starting I have achieved several of my goals with building muscle as well as being able to conformtably workout on my own time. If you are looking to get a trainer this is the right place to do so!

I've been training with Jack now for about a year and he's every bit the consummate professional. He promptly identified areas I needed to work on and has developed personal training plans to help me reach my goals. Along with the excellent staff at VanCityPhysio, they've designed active rehabilitation plans to help me recover from a recent injury. Would highly recommend anyone looking for a personal trainer, whether you're training for the first time or if you're an experienced pro, to give Jack and Postiga Fitness a call.

Jack is a fun, positive, and encouraging trainer. He created a strength and mobility focused plan that fit my schedule, budget, enabled me to go at my own pace, and more importantly - aided my recovery from chronic shoulder and neck pain.

He has recently moved into a new, spacious, fully-equipped private studio that is a safe space perfect for those at the beginning of their journey or looking to gain confidence.

Jack is such a fantastic trainer, not only is he professional and experienced but he is also motivating and encouraging which is what really helps me most. I told Jack what I was looking to achieve and he tailored a plan personally for me which I could access and track in his app. I really struggle to stick to a fitness program and I have never managed to see real results until I started with Jack. Couldn't recommend him more! He also has a private studio so there is no waiting around for equipment in gyms.

I have been training with Jack for the past 6 months and I can’t say enough good things! He helped me get back into the swing of things post covid and got me really excited to be back in the gym and working on my strength.

I am a nurse and work on my feet all day, causing my back, neck and shoulders to constantly be sore. Jack has tailored my workouts to help strengthen my upper body and back and it has made a tremendous improvement in how I feel after my shifts. He has also helped to restrengthen my lower body, ensuring to keep everything balanced. He makes sure all my workouts are challenging and ensures to change programs often to keep things interesting!

Jack is knowledgeable, motivating, and fun to workout with. I always look forward to all my sessions, I cannot recommend him enough!

Jack was great in setting up a program that helped speed my recovery out of a small injury, and I came out of it better off than I was pre-injury. I’ve been training with Jack for about 5 months now and I am really enjoying it. Jack is knowledgeable, professional, and both easy and fun to train with. Each week we push the limits just enough and I’ve seen great results in both my strength and self-confidence when it comes to lifting heavy weights. He keeps track of everything in an app so he always lets me know when I’m hitting a “Personal Best. ” If you’re looking for a trainer, I definitely recommend working out with Jack!

I've been working out with Jack for the last 3 months and I have really noticed huge difference in my body. I have achieved my fitness targets which I don't think would ever be possible to achieve on my own. He created a targeted and efficient strength training plan to achieve my goals that fit my schedule and budget.

I have definition now and feel so much more confident after training with Jack. He has a clear passion and he understands how to push and motivate you and to bring out your best self. I started training with Jack during lock down and the fact that he has his own space was awesome. I am a fat, old man with bad knees and hips and Jack put together a plan that suited my ability and mobility. He is knowledgable and very motivating and I have a proper laugh (and gut-busting workout) every session.

Highly recommend for any age group or ability - Jack will figure it out for you.

Jack is awesome! Incredibly knowledgeable and well certified with an eye for detail.

He makes you feel comfortable and at ease with his non judgmental and down to earth demeanour. And he spends the time getting to know you and your goals. He’s a great motivator and understands exactly what you want.

I came in for posture related pain from work! After the first session I felt immediate relief in my neck from strengthening the right muscles in my back.

Looking forward to staying on track with Jack and crushing some major goals in 2021.

I contacted Jack in the fall of 2020, looking to get back in shape after a bit of a hiatus during the pandemic. I'm 46 and suffer from chronic low back issues and found it challenging to build any momentum before injuring myself.

Jack and I met for a coffee to discuss my fitness goals and scheduled a series of low-cost introductory sessions designed to gauge my fitness level while allowing us to see if the partnership would be a good fit. I've been training with Jack ever since. He pushes me every week to lift bigger while adjusting routines on the fly to accommodate my back issues.

If you're looking for an executive experience complete with peppermint-scented towels, Postiga's not the place. But if you're looking for an outstanding trainer located in probably the safest environment possible during a pandemic, you need to look no further than Postiga Fitness.

I was incredibly worried about staying in shape with the COVID shutdown of all the gyms in town. Lucky for me, Jack was able to keep me working hard! Even though I was stuck inside, I was still able to crush my fitness goals, and come out of quarantine feeling better than ever. Jack is an awesome personal trainer. Over the past 6 months, he has customized a strength training plan for me that pushes my limits weekly. His private studio is clean and equipped with all the equipment I need to challenge myself. Love the hip thrust machine for the best glute workout!

He is also personable and a great motivator. His enthusiasm and custom 1 to 1 style have kept me on track to be the fittest and strongest I've ever been.

Jack is an amazing motivator and trainer. He keeps you committed to your goals so you can see results faster. My body has already drastically transformed with Postiga Fitness’ training program over the last six months online and in person. Every week I feel stronger, more toned and with higher overall energy. Jack knows how to design varied workouts that are specific to your body type and areas of concerns.
I really appreciate Jack’s accumulation of knowledge on the body and nutrition to create his plans. He always aims to make the space and sessions as comfortable and efficient as possible.

I started training with Postiga Fitness in November 2019 and have loved my experience so far! After taking a long break from fitness I really needed the extra help to get back on track and kept accountable without the drill sergeant bootcamp approach I had experienced other places. Postiga fitness provided me just that - awesome effective workouts that propelled me to reach my goals and still let me experience my everyday life. Even with this quarantine my workouts were quickly pivoted online to complete them at home so I never fell off track. So far I have lost 37 pounds, I am in the best shape of my life and most importantly have really enjoyed the journey getting to this new sustainable lifestyle. Jack, you really are the best!

I've been training with Jack for just a few months now and am really noticing the difference. As well as the personal training sessions the app is also great for me as I work away on Camp jobs where he tailors the online sessions to suit my work schedule.
