Powder Mountain Lodge

I am absolutely disgusted by the way my girlfriend was treated by a front desk worker. He was asking inappropriate questions when she asked to speak to a manager then when she said she was born and raised in the town of fernie his response was "alright miss big women" then proceeded to ask about what she does for this town. I will not recommend this place to anyone until that worker is gone.

Good.the dog penny is funny I go to grand forks bc most of the time we always go through fernie every time.when we go through fernie we got to go see Penny.the people are so nice there

On December 1,2022 I checked in and stayed two nights in the Lodge. To my pleasant surprise I found the owner Shyam a very amiable and humble human being. And, not to forget, a white and agile puppy cordially welcomed me. She is so cute that I instantly had greater bond with her. The service, spacious accommodation, and immaculate room gave me the sense of home away from home. I highly recommend the wayfarers to stay there if need be. Trust me you won’t be disappointed. Shyam deserves laurels for the best service in town.

We had a wonderful stay in this place. All the staff were helpful and they have service attitude. The location is perfect in the area, downtown, pub, restaurants are within few blocks. After the whole day hike, we relaxed in the hot tub. The view of the mountain from the room was amazing. The manager, Sam of the hotel is always available when you need any assistance. After all these positive experience, we found it very reasonable priced.
The room was spotless clean and the linens were fresh.

Loved staying here for 3 months back in 2010. Hope Bernie is still managing the place. Brings back memories and I would love to return some day.

Very simple motel, room ok, bathroom so-so. Good if you want to look after yourself. Large lounge with wood stove and kitchenette.

Basic dated rooms. Slum lord renovation type property. Hot tub has black mold showers broken, toilets broken whoever gives this place 5 stars lives under a rock.

Good location and friendly staff. Rooms are pretty basic. Has a bit of a hostel feel with communal kitchens and games area. Can be pretty noisy given the proximity to the highway and the thins walls. Worth a stay if you're planning on spending very little time in the room.
