Powell donair & kebab

Live 4 minutes away and I can't believe I've never been here before. This place is awesome.

I'm absolutely in love with your donairs! Everything at Powell restaurant tastes so fresh, and I'm officially a superfan of it all!

I had a chicken and falafel plate. It was good for 2. The service was also good, the server explained everything nicely.
I would recommend.

Just avoid if you a Door dash delivery guy
Extremely slow! If you receive an order from this place. Take a shower, watch TV go for a bike ride, hopefully after you order would be ready. Do not recommend!

I ordered the chicken plate on uber eats and it really satisfied my craving. I liked how you can choose 3 different sauces, I don't think other places gave that option on uber. It was very tasty and price was good.

Waited a long time for delivery only for the food to be cold and pretty inedible. I have no idea what they made 'gravy' from but it was disgusting. Leaked everywhere. Only thing that was OK was the rice in the chicken kebab meal. Hummus was even horrible.

Very delicious food and quick, friendly service. I haven't been to many donair/kebab restaurants but I can't imagine any others being much better in terms of food and service.

I got a mixed meat falafel plate. Took maybe 15 minutes until it was ready because the falafels had to be heated up and the person tried turning on the oven it was off and I guess the owner or manager had to turn it on themselves. Half of the meat was dry. I dont like the rice. The person servicing me asked for help from their superior and they didn't get a positive response to get assistance.

I'm writing this as Im eating- I just ordered their falafel plate through doordash and their falafel is super good, crispy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside! I only wish I had more Pita to dip in this hummus! I've also had their dolmas in the past and they were great, can't order anymore since Im vegetarian and I believe traditional dolma recipe has ground meat.

Has one of the best shawarma wraps and chicken plates in Vancouver. Come here all the time with my mother. Just delicious!

I don’t know how I missed this place until now. Aromatic rice. Juicy meats. Fresh vegetables. Flavourful pickles. A spot on Halifax sweet sauce. Definitely the best donair in the neighbourhood. Will be back again.

I’m so glad there’s a donair place here again! New owners, but I would argue even better than the last place. Friendly service, super generous portions and nice added extra touches. I’ve ordered takeout once and delivery the other time and I’m happy to say delivery did not disappoint, they got all my notes, didn’t skimp on portions and they even surprised me with an end of the night baklava which was a sweet surprise.

My go to order is the chicken/beef/lamb combo plate. Chicken is super juicy, everything well spiced and I like that the shawarma is a beef/lamb mix. I LOVE the dill flavoured rice that they serve, I’ve never seen that and think it’s such a unique tasty touch. Even their salad is delicious with a mix of lettuce, tomatoes, pickled red cabbage, turnips and tabouleh. Yummy hummus and pita on the side. One order is almost two meals for me. Make sure to ask for garlic sauce and sweet Halifax Donair sauce! Happy to support this small business and can’t wait for the next one!

We absolutely love this place! We always get the chicken platter with rice and hummus and it's seriously the best! We drive all the way from coquitlam to grab it! My daughter is so pick my too and she always asks to go grab food here! Totally worth it if your looking for a good spot to eat! Food is so clean, fresh and flavourful!

Skip the McDonald's next door and support this outstanding local business. Amazing people with amazing food - The mixed beef + chicken donair was incredible to say the least and the Baklava was literally the best I've ever had!

Welcome to Powell Street donair where we charge 13.88 for the smallest donair I have ever got. Nice friendly staff but that hardly makes up for a lack luster donair had the chicken not impressed and the price tag is ridiculous in all honesty just skip this place.

Even tho this place just opened, hands down one of the best Donair places I've ever been to!
We order beef kabab and chicken donair, both were impressive.
Def recommended.

Massive and too much chicken! The quality is definitely there and better than most place in Vancouver

Ordered through Doordash for pickup as I was absolutely famished and when I got there I was greeted by this generous young man who offered me a full refund since they'd run out of kebabs. Furthermore, I was offered a generous discount in case I wanted anything else. Went for the Chicken plate and oh boy was it delicious!

Being Jordanian I’m very hard to please when it comes to kebabs but this is by far my favorite place for kebabs in bc not just Vancouver I ordered the mix kebab with rice and it was delicious and it was done just right, the meat kebab was very juicy and just perfect exactly how meat kebabs should be, the chicken kebab was good but I think I would of preferred a bit more flavor and spices it was a bit on the bland side. But from now on this is the only kebab place that I will be ordering from.

Was passing by to gas up and needed some food after a big day of moving - saw this on the way before and never stopped in to try but glad I did!

The owners are SO friendly, a lovely family and truly care about giving quality food

They also make their own hummus (saw the cans of chickpeas on the side) which is a big plus!

Had the Chicken Plate which had great taste, portions and priced super fairly

Highly recommend as the neighbourhood staple and will be back!
