Excellent quality work. Zero faults in the bodywork and paint after a $6000 accident claim.

This is the second time I have used Prancing Horse who I was referred to by a local auto dealer. The first time it was to repair damage I had caused. This time it was an insurance claim to repair damage caused by another driver. Both times Prancing Horse has done an outstanding job completing the repairs. The vehicle looks like it just came out of the factory. The repairs were done on time and the vehicle ready when promised. Upon picking up my vehicle this time it looked like it just came out of the showroom. Everything was clean and shiny, inside and out. Well done to all staff who are always friendly and helpful. Should the need arise again I will not hesitate to return to Prancing Horse. It’s obvious they take pride in their work.

They did amazing job on my Elantra. Perfect finish. I had a nice loaner car for 6 days and the job was completed on time or better. I did not catch the name, Christine maybe, of the woman who worked at reception, but she was friendly and professional.

2023 edit: What is it with this town and hit-and-runs? Anyway, I've now used Prancing Horse for a third time and my recommendation for this shop is stronger than ever. Once again the work done was of the utmost quality, and all of my interactions with the staff went smoothly: from assessment, to booking, to pick-up and payment, everything was prompt, organized, and seamless. All of the staff here are also pleasant to deal with.

I can't recommend this shop enough. I tell everyone who will listen that this is the place to go if you need autobody work done on your car.

Recently brought my car to them, to have a rear bumper replaced. I mentioned that part of the front of the car had gotten pulled out of place a little bit (unrelated to the rear bumper), and I hadn't been able to figure out how to get it back together. So I asked - if they had the time and it wasn't too much trouble - if they could give it a try. When I picked up my car, not only was the new bumper on and looking great, but they had fixed the pulled apart body section and made it look practically back to normal, AND! I hadn't even mentioned it, but there was a fairly large dent from a hit and run in the same area, they fixed that, too. And they thoroughly cleaned my car inside and out, I don't think it's ever been cleaner. Very impressed. The people there were nice and helpful, accommodating, and down to earth. And the courtesy car I was given while the repairs were being done was a beaut'! Excellent experience all around.

After having a minor accident I had a terrible experience at the dealer trying to get my vehicle fixed. Eventually we decided to give Prancing Horse a try and we were not disappointed. The staff at Prancing Horse were very helpful, knowledgeable and quick! The owner in particular always went above and beyond to assist us.
Highly recommend to anyone who may need a variety of their services.

Absolutely great job- I got my brand new car dented and I was really bummed about it. Brought it in and they made a great job bringing it back as if nothing happened. Paint was excatly the same. Highly recommended!

I went here to get an estimate for some scratches and swipe marks on damage to my bumper
I met with Bernard (not sure if spelled right) who was friendly, honest and actaully took the time to see what he could buff out and I truly appreciated that. I would highly recommend this place to get an estimate and when they did the job they were quick to get me in and I was very happy with their work. My beautiful Miata recently sustained a scrape along the passenger door and a dent behind the door. The paint has a metallic finish which is difficult to match perfectly. Prancing Horse did an excellent job of repairing the damage and repainting. They painted the entire side of the car in order to match the color correctly and the color match is perfect. They went out of their way to ensure the car would look as good as new (which it now does). They organized a rental vehicle for me which arrived just as I dropped off my car. Prancing Horse told me the repair and repaint would be done in 5 days, and it was. Right on time. Owners Bernie and Rick, as well as Christine and Allie in the office and their technicians are friendly, professional and wonderful to work with. Excellent customer service and outstanding quality of work. I highly recommend Prancing Horse Autobody and Paint.

Left with dust bubbles all through out paint as well my entire front windsheild was covered in overspray, shop was willing to fix the bubbles and swirls because i called them within 20 mins of receiving my car.but I would not go back due to my car being soiled by smelling heavily of cigarettes (the main office also smells of cigarettes) and heavy paint fumes (should have been fumigaged) After multiple witness statements given through insurance it became a nightmare to get fixed elsewhere as no one else wanted to "redo" another shops job. Interesting thing about this all which I believe made it so difficult with a "redo" with insurance (Western coast) is that they paid the bill and closed my claim before it was even in the shop and work completed. Disappointing experience to say the least and will not be going back.

Edit: seeing the photos below of a car with "orange peel" texture. Thats also how mine looks I didn't realize that was incorrect and it shouldn't. It's hard to compare as it was a full side repainted.

I highly recommend this auto body shop. Super friendly family run business. Fixed my dented car at a very competitive price in record time - absolutely flawless job. Then they cleaned and vacuumed the car so well - I didn't recognize it! Thank you Prancing Horse!

I have a '92 Toyota truck that was backed into and left some sizable damage to the front right panel of the vehicle. I called multiple places, and prancing horse was the only one who said they would even look at it. (Due to the age)
I thought it was going to be a write-off. Surprisingly, the parts were found, and the truck was pieced back together far better than I was expecting.
The detailing done on the truck was exceptional, almost to the point of looking brand new. Fantastic work!
The customer service was also great. They loaned me a vehicle as mine was being repaired and took care of all the insurance claim and paperwork.
Highly recommended.

They went above and beyond. Very detailed inside and out. They even did a small road paint removal that I wasn't expecting. Polite and great care.

I rubbed up against a pole in my Lexus and thought that I needed a repaint job. That is what one body shop said. Others wouldn't ever look at it for a couple of months. Bernard, the owner of Prancing Horse, took a quick look and said that the scrapes could be buffed out, which he proceeded to do. Good as new. Never left a bad review for any business but our experience here was very unpleasant. No complaints to the work they have done although it did take longer than they estimated. My husband went there to get his car fixed through icbc. It was a no fault claim and the receptionist told us that they will take care of everything. On the day of drop off, they didn't have a courtesy car so they sent my husband to enterprise rental, near their shop. They kept deposit for the rental (supposedly auto body shop was taking care of everything). He came back home. He received two calls during the time that the fix will take more time, which we didn't mind but now guessing maybe a way to give the rental more time. On the day of pickup, my husband left the rental at the garage, asked the reception to check the car and gas to which they said 'it's fine'. Asked for his deposit and was told that the car rental will contact you for that.
The next day he received a call from the rental that he has damaged the car and broke the bumper, gave him a claim no.and told him to contact icbc to prove his innocence. Anyone could have driven that car during a whole day and anything could have happened. We went to this business for the peace of mind that our no fault claim will be dealt with smoothly but came back with a fraud claim on hands. And now my husband is going back and forth with icbc and the rental company. This has caused us great inconvenience and we will recommend anyone using this business to be ware if offered this arrangement.

Unfortunately my experience was quite different from what others have reviewed here. Full disclosure, their quality workmanship is truly excellent (5 stars) but customer service leaves a lot to be desired (0 stars).

The older front office staff with smoker’s voice provides dreadful customer service.

PH was recommended to me by 2 of my male friends, 1 of which is a mechanic. While waiting, I observed this staff to be friendly & helpful to male customers but treated me less so, perhaps because I’m a female POC? I wonder if 1 of my buddies brought my car to PH the entire experience would have been vastly different.

In conclusion, partly because PH didn’t complete job, but mostly because the front staff is so unpleasant, I have 2nd thoughts of returning to PH to complete what was asked of them in the first place.

UPDATE: Rick reached out to me and arranged to complete the job which was done swiftly and at a convenient time. Again beautiful work - thank you Rick for your friendly & helpful service!

Very helpful and personable staff! Special shout out to the detailer who cleaned my SUV after the body work was done and managed to make it look almost new! Impressive considering I have a toddler that makes a huge mess with his snacks and a shedding dog.
