Don't stay there in winter. They didn't give us the deposit back because we left the room dirty. Didn't know you are supposed to clean the room before you check out. I guess if all the rooms are vacant they still have to pay their employees, rent and utilities. Otherwise i liked the place. In summer i would say a really good option.

Extremely overpriced for what we got from our stay. The one night stay totaled $220 after fees plus parking for a Saturday night in October which according to the lady I booked with over the phone two week prior was a "deal for that date". The room was fairly clean with the exception of hair left on both of our towels. The first thing we noticed was how loud the street noise was as our room faced Harvey Avenue. If we held the patio door shut we could get a seal and quieter but there was no way to keep it like that without holding the door handle and pulling inward. The street noise was continuous throughout the night and the "complimentary" earplugs were not stocked or available anywhere in the room as mentioned on the small card left on the dresser. The room door also was not a tight seal (light shown around 2 sides) and we were startled a few time throughout the night due to noisy guests in the hallways in addition to the street noise. Neither my wife or I slept well and we checked out early.

The surrounding area is near the water but everything else in this area of the city was fairly grungy. I did not feel great leaving my vehicle in the unsecured parking lot overnight.

Our initial check in went smoothly and the lady at the reception was nice and helpful.

Super disappointed at this price point. I will not be recommending the Prestige in Kelowna and will book elsewhere during future trips.

We stayed here and it was super convenient. Didn't use the car for few days, stuck with the local scooter rental to get around close to downtown and area. The room was ok, nothing too special, the washroom was a bit small in my room thought. The hot tub jets was not really doing anything, talked to the front desk lady and she said its on. Im sure its broken or just need maintenance. That's were it lost the stars.

When booking our room i was offered an upgrade to a lake view with a patio?

The patio is also beside this intersection and is about 3’x7’ and has two chairs that can only face each other?
This was the loudest room I have ever stayed in. I should have figured this out when I saw the ear plugs beside the bed.
The bed is terrible.possible the worst I have ever slept on.
The air condition system did not cool the room.
This was a terrible decision to stay there.
No sleep at all.
I know I will never return to that place again.

The room was beautiful with a personal balcony and a beautiful bathroom. The view was amazing. The staff was very friendly and super helpful.

The rooms are not sound proofed at all. The rooms facing the parking lot are still noisy. Front desk had poor customer service. Rather stay anywhere else next time, even if we had to cab to downtown.

Amazing location, make sure to ask for a room not facing the street or else you will have fun sleeping with hearing cars drive by all night. Otherwise amazing location. Close to restaurants and pubs and lake of course. Rooms are a bit run down but still decent.

This old hotel is still a favorite. Right downtown but still quiet and relaxing. The rooms are small but charming. Hotel is clean? Quiet and well staffed. Love every stay here.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay. When I first arrived it was confusing on how to get to the lobby but the staff was friendly and got me checked in quickly. When I got to my room I realized the TV wasn't plugged in and couldn't find where it plugged in so asked the front desk to take care of it as I was going to be gone for a few hours but wanted it working when I got back. The TV was plugged in but nothing was set-up, I did a channel scan myself, tried to get it connected to the internet but the remote kept freezing and when I called the front desk for help he said sorry the problem was with the internet though my phone and computer hooked up just fine. After spending 45 minutes trying to get the TV to work I gave up. I couldn't even stream a show on my computer because there are no accessible plug ins in the guest room so unless I wanted to sit on the toilet I was out of luck. For such a nice looking hotel it is sorely lacking in amenities.

I will say the restaurant was good and I had an excellent seafood chowder with friendly staff.

It’s a no from me. If you get a room facing the busy road it’s all you hear as if the windows are open. It is fairly clean however the bathrooms are dirty and mold build up in the grouting. It’s surely an affordable option but would not return.

Place is a dump.managers and maintenance need to be fired for allowing this place to fall apart.holes in the walls, horrible painting, wires hanging from ceilings, not properly cleaned, rust on the lamps.the baseboard heater was grinding all night long.this has all the upkeep of a $50 motel.staff were not very pleasant.and you are surrounded by homeless people and several were on the parking lot by the cars and no one was moving them along.

We booked the Prestige at the recommendation of a friend who had stayed there 2 weeks prior, you absolutely can't beat the location. It's less than a 5 minute walk to the lake with lots of food options around as well. Rooms were comfortable with soft sheets and pillows. Older building but well kept. Staff was polite and helpful, and all requests for extra linens/towels were met promptly. For a weekend trip, it was very well priced. There is a nightly parking fee, but there is also 24/7 security watching your vehicle so it is definitely worth it.

Our only complaint was the pool was *so cold* that it took all of us at least 15-20 minutes to be able to acclimatize to it. The lake was warmer! Be prepared.

Overall, great stay and we will probably return!

Staff are amazing, I never got to meet Tyler but he helped out family stay here all together in the 2 bedroom condo suite. Thank you again!

Very accommodating, only sad thing to write is that the sauna in the pool room has been turned into a storage room. Would have loved to use the sauna.

Do NOT book a jacuzzi room. The noise from the tubs in OTHER rooms running sounds like a jet engine inside your room.

This hotel is trying really hard to be better than they are. We've stayed in some very nice hotels around the Province and this one just isn't up to par.

The bed was absolutely perfect and the deck was lovely. Great location, obviously. Finishing lacked attention to detail.

They charge for parking which is laughable. They waived it for us.

Overall the experience here was average. Just stay away from the jacuzzi rooms. Not worth the brutal sleep you'll have.

Location was great the staff is horrible. Not welcoming or friendly at all. NO hot water in the morning for a shower. Asked how our stay was and communicated the issue. The employee looked at me with a stunned look. Charged my visa, handed me my receipt and that was it. Next visit will NOT be at the Prestige Beach House.

If you're looking for a pet friendly hotel, this isn't it. We booked online through a 3rd party site and put in special requests "need a pet friendly room" and their website didn't specify anywhere on the home page (was easily accessible) that they have very few select pet friendly rooms and "you must call before booking to see if they have availability for pet rooms". We arrived and we're met with a very rude front desk person saying that we don't have any pet friendly rooms and I should have called prior to booking, and that I didn't write anywhere in my booking on the booking site that we have pets (which I did). They should indicate that very clearly on their third party booking sites and not allow people to book if they have pets because I'm sure this happens a lot. Who reads fine print on the pet policy prior to booking a hotel? Not me. The front desk person told me in not so many words it was my fault, wasn't understanding, didn't apologize or get the manager to come speak to me, and didn't validate that it was at all frustrating. I understand that they only have a select few pet friendly rooms, that makes sense, but don't allow people to book if they don't have any available, and maybe make an exception and do a super thorough clean after? Or at least, don't have a rude staff member that blames the customer for the company's mistake. There was "nothing they could do" and we turned away to book another hotel 20 minutes walk from the water, and had to pay more for the new hotel with the last minute booking.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. On my first night here a man from the managment team walked into my room without any warning. (Did not knock or say hello) came into my room and looked at me while I was laying in bed and then went “oh sorry” and walked out. I was a young female staying alone at this hotel and it made me extremely uncomfortable. The manager I spoke with did absolutely nothing and didn’t even seem concerned.

I would not feel safe staying at this hotel or suggest it to anyone. Also the customer service in general was horrible. It was often there was absolutely no one at the front desk for hours, staff also wasn’t friendly or knowledgeable. The hotel itself is fairly dirty and in a bad part of town.

If I could give a zero star I would. I can’t believe the managers lack of professionalism and concern for my feeling of unsafe.

We were only dining and it was fantastic! Order the clams & mussels in the lime curry sauce and you will enjoy the most delicious meal! All staff were very attentive. We will certainly return. Be sure to try it, you will not be disappointed! Oh, it was a Saturday night and we were fortunate to get a table without a reservation as it was busy.

Location is really good. Rooms are small but okay. Price is little bit high but considering the beach location it’s okay. Reception man Muhammad was great for his service. We didn’t do advance booking. He helped us checking in with easy and comfortable way.

This hotel is anything but prestigious. The close proximity to restaurants and the water was great, but it was also too close for comfort to the city’s homeless population. Day and night I did not feel safe walking to the nearby restaurants. We booked as a very large group for a wedding; as such, rooms were blocked off and the reservations were made months in advance. Yet somehow the hotel seemed to mess up everyone’s dates (had many of us arriving a day later and departing a day later than we all originally booked for, and some of us even had our reservations unknowingly cancelled). This was quickly cleared up with great customer service, but sure provided a scare to many of us less than one week before arriving. The biggest downfall to our stay was the dirtiness/filth/mold problems within our room and in the pool facilities. There was dirt, grim and hair throughout our guest room, and the smell of mold/mildew was overwhelmingly nauseating. Our small, cramped bathroom also had visible mold on the walls and floor. The pool and hot tub water were in horrendous condition and also had an obvious mold problem. Towels were not stocked each time the kids went to the pool and there was only one plastic chair for people to sit on in the entire room, despite there being at least 5-10 adults at a time sitting on the disgusting, moldy pool room floor. I’ve washed my kids bathing suits 3 times since arriving home, and still can’t get the stench of mold out of their suits. The food in the restaurant was great, but we waited more than an hour for eggs & bacon one morning despite being only one of two tables in the restaurant to begin with AND notifying the waitress we were in a hurry when we ordered. Half of our table’s food arrived a full half hour before the rest of our table’s food. Many customers who arrived AFTER us got their food before the rest of our table received ours. There was no apology and it was blamed on being short-staffed. I’m still not sure how other tables getting their food before us, even though they ordered way after us, can be blamed on short-staffing; to me, that appears to be a mistake made by the staff… and we were still charged an 18% gratuity fee, despite receiving horrible service. The $15 parking fee/per night is also appalling. I do not recommend staying at this lack-lustre hotel.

Location good.right downtown across from park & waterfront. Just streets. Comfy room. Cleanliness not so great. Restaurant food and hotel staff were certainly EXCELLENT. Hot tub was terrible.would not stay there again because the hot tub was a huge disappointment. Would definitely go back for the comfy bed and the delicious meals tho.

Clean but spare rooms.well priced. Good restaurant.great location. Ask about rooms with views over park as the construction and parking lots to the side are dismal and not really meant to enjoy sitting out on the balconies.

Missing its prime place of years gone by it is still in a great location with easy access to the park.waterfront.and within walking distance of the arena.restaurants.bars.shopping and casino.

Beautiful location just as you enter Kelowna right by the water. Rooms are clean and well kept. I like how the toilet is in a separate room than the rest of the washroom lol
We had booked a block of rooms for a Stagette weekend, and there was a lot of confusion with the room situation and payment. The restaurant in the hotel has great food. My only honest concern is that they appear to be under staffed. It took our party almost 2.5 hours to get food. Most of us only ordered toast. But the coffee is good and the staff were working hard.
I would definitely return, just some improvements I think that need to be made.

Room was dusty and something that looked thick like cough syrup was under the bed. (We found in the morning when double checking we had everything) hair dryer blew cold only, the jetted tub feature had broken taps. The cold actually came right off. Hot water took running it for 20 mins to be hot. The balcony door wouldn't open and they didn't have maintenance on site. Asked for late checkout at noon. The desk called my room at 10: 59 to ask us what we were up too it isn't on the beach and is surrounded by Kelowna's homeless!

The stay was great, as Best Western Diamond status, we got a room upgrade to a better room, plus a welcome amenity of a bottle of wine plus a granola bar.
Room was very cute and the poster bed was a refreshing change.
Overall, had a lovely time there.
However, the only reason I am giving this a one-star review is of a billing issue (there was a $20 Best Western Gift Card that I wanted to apply to my reservation, front desk says that they didn't know how to do it and if I forwarded the gift card to their email, they would refund me that amount and resolve the issue). However, that has not been resolved since I checked out, but as soon as it is resolved, happy to edit my review.
EDIT: The hotel has reached out and resolved the payment issue, and so edited my review to 5 stars. Well deserved!

I just tried to book at this place, the guy trying to book for me could not understand me. Had to keep asking me to repeat. I could just barely understand him. Very frustrating. After wasting 15 minutes of my time getting all of the details, he transferred me to someone who could hear me. I asked for a queen room for myself and a dog. She said that there is a 25 lbs limit. So that ended that. My dog is over 25 lbs, why waste my time. When I said that I had a dog they should say that there is a limit and be able to understand you.

The room was ok, comfy large bed. But there was still food in the fridge from a previous guest, there was only 1 bath towel for 2 guests and the balcony has 2 chairs and a table which were absolutely filthy dirty we has to use a towel to clean it and there was a hair bobble on the carpet, clearly the room was not properly cleaned#covid? This was meant to be a 3 star hotel

Stay was short but sweet.
Customer service wasn't exceptional, and the housekeeper or someone probably stole my lunchbox but it was nice and clean and the location is great!

Room was clean but we had no shower curtain when we checked in. Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Parking not free - $7 a night. Hotel offers a very expensive "breakfast in a bag" - $9.95 for a muffin, granola bar, piece of fruit and a juice box. Not impressed when you spend $150 a night on a room.

Neat.clean.tidy. Seems recently renovated. We received the most amazing reservation service from Tyler and Katie at check-in. Totally surprised by the complimentary bottle of local wine and snacks waiting for our return after our 1st.day of riding your KVRR Myra Canyon. Happy to stay with you next time we're in town!

Couldn't find the main entrance and i got yelled at for going in the wrong door. Lots of druggies in the area hence their attitude towards people that looks suspicious plus bed sheets had stains and black marks all over. Wasn't impress as it supposed to be prestigious.

While the location of the hotel is unbeatable, within walking distance of Bernard and the beach, the hotel itself would not be our choice for a next trip, particularly given the price. While I expected road noise to be a problem, we were not disturbed by the traffic. Unfortunately, other guests were very audible through the thin wooden doors and garbage bin pick-up at 5 am were major challenges. Also the positioning of the air conditioner made adjusting room temperature a challenge as we battled blasts of cold while sleeping or the heat! We tried to use the pool, a key feature informing our choice, only to discover it was closed for maintenance during the afternoon. Lastly, we expected a mini-fridge but this had been removed from the cupboard. For the price, there are better options in Kelowna.

Washroom and closet was bad condition. Washroom door was even not closed, when I ask staff they says because of weather.

We love the location of the prestige beach hotel. It is right across from hot sands beach, has secure parking and is very clean. This is our second year staying in this hotel and we have been coming to Kelowna for 5 years during the summer time. We were able to use the pool. Our room had 2 beds and a sofa bed, the balcony was great as well. I wish that the meeting rooms could be booked with the expectation for guests to sanitize before and after use. My husband has needed a quiet place to work last year and this year and has had to have his meeting from our vehicle because the meeting room wasn’t available. Thanks for a great stay. We will be back next year!

Had to give 4 stars as they lose a star for parking and the pool. Parking is very tight and hard to get your luggage to the room. Pool needs more aide tables or benches as we had to share our chair with another couple to put towels on. Not good during a pandemic. A few more cheap little tables or lawn chairs in pool area would be nice. Otherwise a decent hotel. Clean and comfortable besides the above.

Doesn't have any service other than a pool and gym.
No water bottles for the room and they have coffee machine in all rooms and sugar but no water.
Go here when you don't find any other place.

Great updated rooms, especially the ones with a balcony, wonderful views of the marina. Good restaurant, and short walk to the main shopping street.

Location is awesome, but the rooms are pretty run down. Poor Reno updates and half finished (attached just examples of the bathroom). Staff is nice though

The service here was absolutely amazing! All staff are extremely helpful, friendly, and really go to the next level to make sure you are enjoying your stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Location was convenient to enjoy a nice walk in the park or to enjoy the nightlife, if that’s something you are interested in. Would definitely stay here again. I recommend spending the extra few dollars and getting a room with a jet tub.

We really enjoyed a few nights here recently & had a lovely time exploring towns up and down the Valley. Helpful staff and senior management are excellent; swift & gracious when resolving an issue. We are returning guests and will be again!

Room felt like a dungeon not pet friendly have to walk past all the homeless to take dog for a walk didnt feel to safe staying there so we didnt.went to the other best western its was a great hotel

There are a lot of negative reviews for this place but I feel like a review is only as good as the attitude! Sure, this place is a little run down. But the beds are comfy, the room is clean so why complain? It's in an awesome location, you can walk downtown for food or go to the beach across the street! I loved staying here while I was in town for the weekend and would do so again! There is a lot of parking and an elevator! A restaurant in the lobby area! Couldn't complain!

I just booked a 2 night stay and had to call in twice. Both times the phone was answered on the first ring and this incredibly lovely woman, Anya (sorry if I misspelled this) was MORE than delightful! She was courteous, had great phone manners and was warm and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised by this great customer service. I was already fairly excited to stay here however, now I am just OVER THE MOON to see why else is in store. I’ll post another review after my stay:)

The only reason I gave a 3 on room working order was because the patio door would not open. This meant I had to change rooms in the middle of my stay. However not a big deal. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We were told we couldn’t check in early due to extra cleaning for covid. We called the day we checked in and fortunately the room was ready early but it was not clean. There was a shirt behind the couch, the carpets didn’t look vacuumed and the crown moulding wasn’t even finished. I had higher expectations being the prestige.
We used the pool and hot tub which had little dirt piles in it and there was a bottle cap in the pool.

I stayed here two weeks ago and thought it was great. It would be nice if they allowed you to have the food delivery cone to your room, but I get it. My room faced the parking lot and it was nice and quite.

Chose the place because of the location. Thought it will be convenient to park the car at the hotel and we could walk to all the amenities after hearing that people are scratching the cars after seeing Alberta plates. My car got scratched at the hotel itself and got no help from the staff when I told them about it. They said they do not have any camera facing the parking lot so they couldn’t tell who did it.

Overall loved the stay in your hotel. Just that the gym would need upgrading. Most of the gym equipment is quite old. Would love to come back again soon.

Fantastic property and the Staff are always top notch, helpful and welcoming.
The Beach House is our go to when staying in Kelowna!

Wonderful location and reasonably priced for downtown Kelowna. Do not be put off by the proximity to the busy roadway (soundproofed on that side) and don't be surprised to find a large homeless population in the nearby park. The motel is beautifully renovated, the restaurant is welcoming and the nearby entertainment and nightlife is safe and enjoyable. Park your car during your stay and you can walk or bike anywhere from this location on pathways and protected cycling lanes. Oh, and the beaches and warm lake swimming is within walking distance.
