Prestige Kamloops Hotel

Bed was comfortable, the hotel was quiet and staff were pleasant how ever the room wasn’t very clean. Had to wash tub before I used it, base of toilet had urine stains, pillow case had what looked like old blood stains on it, mirror in the room was dirty. One annoying thing is the bathroom tap is situated to far back from sink makes it hard to wash hands and you get water every where ended up using tub to wash my hands it was easier. I would expect the room to be cleaner especially when we were paying over $200 per night.

Customer service is amazing! So helpful, kind and nice! Rooms are super nice and modern, maybe a bit smaller than usual but really beautiful and a great view! Super close to everything, just off the highway and very convenient.

After a long drive from Jasper, we checked in and were offered a choice of rooms – a rear facing room overlooking the town (and the main highway) or another on the ground floor overlooking the car park. After reading previous reports about road noise, we took the ground floor option.

The room was a standard room (number 121) with 2 king beds. It was clean and spacious, the a/c worked really well as it was very hot when we arrived and the room was a suitable option for an overnight stay.

Location wise, this hotel is on the outskirts of Kamloops and is in an area with lots of other hotels. It is easy to get to from the highway. There are also plenty of restaurants, most of which are attached to the hotels but take non-residents.

Watch your stuff here. My truck was broken into a couple of weeks ago as the crew was staying there. The security and video surveillance is terrible on the west side. Can't get no straight answer from the staff as well to what happened and to what was returned to lost and found. Bad area for robberies don't leave stuff in your car as I learned the hard way. Hotel was clean and in a good location around restaurants and stuff. Wish there is better security.

Rooms were clean but not spectacular. Did allow our dogs and had a convenient door so we didn’t have to go through the lobby all the time.
Staff were not helpful when I requested a pillow that was not feather due to a severe allergy. Had no idea what to do so I slept without a pillow!
Restaurant prices were extremely high.
Traffic noise was terrible. Got no sleep. Book rooms on the side away from the highway if you stay there!

A lot of taxi drivers don't know the hotel, other than that, place is clean, there is a pool, gym and a spa, a bit expensive in the restaurant.

Everything is new and clean. The restaurant is a farm to table treat. Definitely a top choice for kamloops hotels now.

Very quiet modern room. Bed was quite comfortable. Best sleep I've had in a hotel for some time. I did find a used wash cloth hanging on the shower curtain rod and what appeared to be a used towel folded and returned to the towel bin.

Just did a one night stop over on our way to Alberta. Front desk staff was friendly and quick. Room was nice and comfortable. Had lots of outlets, including a few to plug in usb cords, which was useful to charge up our phones and kids tablet. Easy to get to. Close to a drug store, gas station and few restaraunts.

The housekeeping staff don't all know how to put sheets on a bed. 2 queen beds one correct the other I had to turn the fitted sheet 1/4 turn‍️ and stayed in Prestige Prince George the next night exact same thing. I guess they contract housekeeping services out now.

Tammy at Front desk was Superb. The pool attendant Casey was kind and courteous. Remember Humans.we are just coming Out Of A Pandemic.

The rooms and hotel are beautiful. It’s in a convenient location and is very clean. The beds are super comfortable. The only minor complaint I have is that the bed frame corners are pretty jagged. I accidentally hit my leg on one and it was pretty sharp. Maybe some rubber or something over the would be ideal. Overall though a very nice stay and would return.

Great place to stay. Rooms are recently renovated, and look like new! Renovations were still in progress when I stayed, so the breakfast room was closed, but I'm still happy!

The hallway doors to each suite really slam hard and bind, need some serious attention. Not pleasant being woke up all night from doors slamming. Overall hotel is nicely updated, pool and hot tub are good, a few restaurants within walking distance.

Front desk staff were extremely helpful! Rooms were clean, beds were soft and fresh. Bathrooms were clean and drains flowed nicely. Newly renovated. Hardware are modern. Swipe cards and deadbolts here. AC ice cold and fridge almost froze drinks. Excellent for a +42 day.

I'd definitely come back.

I only wish there was a laundromat service inside. No restaurant yet but a selection down the street.

Great service. Room had a nice sized bathroom with full sized tub with shower. I thought the mattress was too worn in, caved a bit in the middle. Pool and waterslide was a bonus.

Newly renovated, rooms are modernly decorated.the real draw is the new pool with a waterslide and jacuzzi, perfect for kids. This hotel in general got a well needed face lift!

Very clean room and extremely friendly staff at front desk!

Front parking lot is small, but there is more parking spots behind the building. Go right of the grey wall that has faded “more parking” painted on it.

We were quoted just over $200 for a night in a pet friendly room, and our bill ended up being $300. Rooms are fine but very basic, and no breakfast at all included which is insane for a $300/night hotel. There are a ton of options in Kamloops, wish we stayed elsewhere.

Beautiful, clean rooms. Nice pool and spa. Room was not ready at check in so that was a major inconvenience. Overall was happy

Decent location, very nicely redone rooms with great a flatscreen HDTV to catch a hockey game on. Pretty good service, if you can find a rate for under 200$ it’s well worth the stay.

Just completely renovated and it is great. Service 5/5, lobby 5/5, rooms 5/5, pool and hot tub 4/5. Very impressed with all the improvements.

This place is amazing! I booked it same day last minute and was arriving at around late 2AM because my bf and I were doing a 14 hour road trip. We were exhausted while Nahaim and Tammy (the front desk staff) were kindly patient and helpful. The towels are surprisingly soft and it was renovated a week or so prior to our arrival (4/15/2022) so the room was in pristine condition. Great for a night stay, and has more than reasonable prices. Highly recommend, thank you for taking care of us Nahaim and Tammy (sorry if I spelled the name wrong)!

The hotel was being totally renovated, so everything was brand new. Our room was big, with lots of space for the grandkids to play. The beds were super comfy and even the pull out couch bed was comfortable. The lady at the front desk, her name was Tammy, such a wonderful person, so kind and helpful, by the end of stay she felt like a friend.

Stayed here for 2 nights due to working in town. Here are my pros and cons of this hotel:
Pros - Front service staff was very friendly and informative.
My room was nicely furnished and was upgraded recently.
Bed is comfortable.
Towels are very soft and seem brand new compared to towels at other hotels.
Cons - The blinds seem super thin and if I can see out, I'm sure they can see in.
No breakfast, not even bagged ones, would be nice to have something.
No microwave in room.
Pool was decent but no chairs or tables to place your stuff.
Room could use a picture or two.
Saw a spider and an ant by the hot tub.

The hot tub was very cold, almost as cold as the pool. The slide is also not not functional in the colder months.
