Service department is a joke - this dealership sold me a lemon, 2 year old truck, has left me stranded 3 times since i owned it, today i called to see if i could get it towed to them, and they said they might be able to get to it at the end of the month, its currently the 9th

It wasn't easy finding the right vehicle for my wife and our family because of the features that we were looking. However, once we visited GM Langley and were treaded right away with a warm welcome from salesman Chris Whilley, we knew we might of found what we were looking for, and we did. Chris was able to meet and exceed our expectations.

We will definitely continue to make purchases from this dealership for many years to come. Great quality vehicles, but most importantly, great staff members. Front desk, management team and accounting. They keep their promises and always deliver for their customers.

This review was made to make sure not only the staff at GM knows how we feel, but to everyone who is looking for a great vehicle. Make sure you ask for Chris!

A real learning experience for me, like going into a hospital with knowledgeable and supportive staff making it a smooth and seamless process, from the transport to and from home to a detailed summary of what happened to my new car, to what to expect next on the calendar down the road.

My 12v battery died. They wanted to charge $199 "diagnostic fee" + $492.50+tax for a new battery installed. I drove around the corner to Edmonds Battery, new battery installed in 15 minutes $199+tax. (The diagnostic fee was to read codes and do a battery load test - I don't expect those free, but a reasonable rate is likely 1/2 what they charged for that task). I am totally ok to pay reasonable market rates for fine work, I don't need free - but at what percentage above market rates is reasonable no longer a good description of the pricing?

Staff is always very friendly and accommodating. They seem to do their best to minimize wait times and also have an excellent shuttle service. No disappointment here. 4 star rather than 5 due to the fact no ones perfect, but I'll keep bringing my car back.

I bought a new GMC with 7 year extended warranty. The warranty seems to be voided upon payment. They did not have record of it.so they forced me to pay while they "looked" for it. They found out they did not send in the paperwork to GMC (or something like that) but then did.sent me the info confirming the warranty. When I called to get the warranty refund numerous times, they refused to call me back. Don't buy GMC or go to this dealership. I plan on buying an F150 in the next year or so instead of the Sierra I was planning on buying.

Charged 189.oo an hour, 5 hours total for oil change, spark plugs, coil pack, valve cover gasket. Over 2000$ for someting that should have taken 45 mins to an hour at most. DO NOT RECOMMEND. DO NOT BRING OUR CAR TO THIS DEALERSHIP!

Been having fuel injector problems causing my GM vehicle to misfire and lose power.

I told them the issue in detail with them coming back to only be replacing coils and finding out there is bigger problems honest technicians so it's time for a new car

I do not recommend buying a vehicle here what so ever. There customer service is atrocious. 3 months after buying a vehicle here (including extended warranty) we had nothing but a headache dealing with a waterpump gone on our truck. We were run around on the phone for hours at a time. Made multiple trips into the dealership to try and have things dealt with. An issue covered under manufacture warranty that was like pulling teeth to get any sort of answers yet alone service. Just to pickup our truck with a mirror now no longer attached to our truck (never an issue prior to drop off). We spent hours dealing with this to not even have an apology from management or any sort of compensation for our time and fuel. Do not waste your time with this place. Customer service is less then one star. Happy to sell to us. Not happy to help us after the fact.

Now it's been 9 days since our truck has now had additional issues (engine failure code) we brought truck in last night for its appointment this am. And now being told not to expect to hear anything till Monday. That means this month our truck will be out of commission 14 days minimum. 700$ a month for a vehicle we cannot drive nor do we have a loaner car as it won't he covered until and if it's under warranty. This many issues with a vehicle thats still under manufacture warranty and has extended warranty I would have expected some sort of customer service for the immense inconvenience on a product that is supposed to give a customer peace of mind. Extremely disappointed

Nothing but horrible experiences at Preston with two Cadillacs that I’ve owned! 1. I brought my Cadillac in because it wouldn’t turn on due to a security issue and I told them I think it’s a certain module and a simple fix but they insisted I pay for all of these random diagnosis’s then after racking up hours of labour… after almost a month of my vehicle being there they realized I was right and ordered the part and installed and the car turned on without issue, they wouldn’t lower the cost of labour. 2. I brought my second car in because the car would shake, making noises when accelerating, I said I think it could be the spark plugs causing a misfire but they insisted on doing a transmission flush… and it would fix it. The problem got much worse after the flush so I found another mechanic and they swapped the spark plugs after a simple diagnosis and the issue was fixed. Preston likes to waste everyone’s time, get the labour cost up and let the customer eat the cost even when they’re wrong twice in a row. Go elsewhere!

Had a recall and a problem to deal with. Appointment was postponed twice for parts for the recall. On the day, their worker called in sick, so they could not fix the problem, just the recall. So not really in their control, otherwise this would have been 1-star. The real problem is they should have called me by 9 am, not 2pm, and given me the chance to take my vehicle elsewhere

Worked with Grahm in service he was amazing! He had the job of letting me know parts would take time to come in and couldn’t have been better at explaining the reasons and making it understanding! Actually everyone at the service department at Preston has been amazing and we have been customers for years! Thank u again

Was called to book for battery replacement on EV, came to our appointment 6 weeks later at 8: 30am, got turned away saying they didn't receive battery.
They didn't call me to tell me any information, and now there is no replacement battery in sight.
My vehicle was recalled for battery problems, possible fire Hazzard with overcharging and running car with low charge.

The service rep I was originally dealing with wasn’t super helpful. My car was towed in on the Thursday evening and on the Friday he brushed off my enquiry about a loaner saying there wouldn’t likely be one available until the Monday, which is when my car was expected to be finally diagnosed. I interpreted that as my car would be diagnosed and fixed Monday, or Tuesday at the latest. He ended up not responding to my texts and I finally got a phone call on Tuesday evening from a different rep. He was helpful and updated me on the situation, which was they were very busy and it would take a couple of days for the part to come in but he would put my name on the list for a loaner vehicle - either my car would be ready on the Thursday or I’d have a loaner by then. I picked up the loaner Thursday and THANK GOD I finally had that because I’d spent over $500 in taxi fare since I live half an hour from the hospital where I work - this could have been avoided had the FIRST guy put my name on the list for a loaner immediately when I asked instead of making excuses. I didn’t get my car back until the FOLLOWING Thursday, which was two whole weeks from the initial towing to the dealership. Again, I appreciated the helpful demeanour of the second service rep, but I am not at all happy that I spent over $500 on taxi fare and that was simply to go to and from work.

The staff was great. Helpful to have someone available to drive me home & bring me back. However every time I take my car in my tires are not fixed properly. Just got my tire looked at yesterday & supposedly fixed and now today it’s flat again. It’s really inconvenient when you work all week and need your car.

Make sure all conversations are in writing and don't let them deal with your warrany communications. I was told numerous times that my rental vehicle was covered under my warranty now he's telling me I'm responsible for paying for the rental. My car sat in their shop not even being worked on for days while time was being accumulated on the rental.
This was in February. Been "working on it" since then. Last month I notified him that the rental place was taking action and he told me not to pay until I heard from him. He never got back to me until now after I had to get in touch with the dealership to track him down. There's a lot more to this but the bottom line is don't expect much decency here. Oil changes take all day, you can tell them you need to leave for work by a certain time and no one even updates via text. Just all around disappointing and shameful customer service from a few. Others in the shop are lovely people but unfortunately the bad apples are so bad you can't trust the bunch which is too bad. Don, Sonia and John were great to deal with and it's unfortunate that I will no longer be able to trust Preston GM.

Not a fan of customer service in the service department when I stopped in to inquire about needed service. The lady was courteous and professional, which I very much appreciated verses the other gentleman who was condescending and abrupt.

Also didn't offer to assist me by calling another dealership about the service needed. It wasn't busy, so afterwards I went to my vehicle and called the other locations.

Sorry, but I was brought up with first time impressions, so I won't be coming back.

I found Preston’s to be fairly expensive. That being said, I would use them again in a heartbeat. The quality of work was second to none. They were extremely polite and explained and did everything exactly as I requested. They completed the work in a timely fashion. They were also very careful to keep my truck spotless. You definitely get what you pay for. At Prestons you pay a little more but you get the very best. AAAAA+

Service department was totally unprofessional and did not return calls as promised. Jamal was as fake as it gets. Worst dealership now, was one of the best places to go in the early 2000’s, long time customers are not appropriate.

Took my car in to have the door fixed. They kept my car overnight without even a phone call let alone offering any sort of courtesy car. I had to call them at 5 wondering what was going on. Their response was oh it’s not ready yet. They only fixed the recalls on day one and waited until the next day get to the door. Was told an approximate price then when I got the bill it was triple, no calls in between. When I asked and when I text messaged my service advisor asking him if the car was ready he responded in all caps ITS IN THE CAR WASH! Absolutely no communication. When I asked to speak to the manager she kept me waiting for over 30 mins. She did finally discount my bill. But what poor communication by everyone working there. And a rude service advisor.

In February 2020 I bought a 2018 truck and was told it had bumber to bumber warranty till Nov 2020 only to find out the service manager at PRESTON GM informed me the small print says lights and fuses not covered under warranty. You buy a $40.000 truck and they charge you $45.00 to install a fuse which operates my trailer turn single. Service manager could care less. Something wrong here?

This is a great place that does excellent work with high professionalism. They have a very good customer service, staff who have high skills on detecting and solving all kind of issues and repairing them at 100% in a short time. I will recommend this place to family members, friends and colleagues for any kind of car repairs.

Chris was very helpful checking me in but I was very disappointed when I picked up my truck after 2.5 hrs (when I was told 1.5) that it was not washed or vacuumed, I assume this was because the service was one of the 4 free ones that came with the purchase of the vehicle.

Good service work, truck was fixed and cleaned up. Was told the price was $608.00 total on the phone before they began the work. However once when I went to pay the total price somehow increased to $715! Not very happy about my quote changing so much.
