One of the best PriceSmart store I know. Lot of choices, good quality, fresh meals. Of course prices higher, but worth it.

Today I had their Chinese takeout for lunch. The noodles, especially the rice flat noodles tasted and smelled really funny. I could definitely tell this wasn’t prepared today as the texture of the noodles themselves were way too soggy and mushy. Perhaps this was from the day before. It wasn’t like this previously but I’m staying away from this hot food section from now on.

The Save-On just up the street seems to be shutting down and phasing out carrying several products I want, so I tried this place. Better selection and a big Japanese food section (surprised to find dorayaki).

Bad parking options and prices are higher than their sister stores and the deli meat was extremely dry and looked like it had been there for too long so won’t be going back as nobody was approachable to help for asking for specific directions on items but I’m pretty sure someone would probably be following to ensure you don’t shoplift as I’ve e heard they profile for that. They need to work on customer service and fresh quality!

Store is clean and had a wide selection of products, particularly lots of Asian goods. I had a meal from the deli. It was inexpensive and of adequate quality. Certainly not gourmet, but good for the price!

(RACISM) How they treat people here is unacceptable. If you're looking to be discriminated against this is your place. I will be speaking for my friend. This White Bald Male only way to describe him other than rude and disturbing, discriminated My friend who went here with his grandmother are both of Chinese descent so when they were paying at self-checkout he not only 1) ignored them even though he wasn't occupied, 2) assumed they were stealing and took all their items out their bags harshly not putting them back 3) muffled something under his breath and kept saying oh my god out loud like he was bothered when all my poor friend and his grandmother just wanted help. I being of white descent didn't notice this behaviour by him but I was truly shocked at how uncivilized this man was. To be employed at a Chinese descent store and still act this way towards your main demographic is terrible.

This is one of two Price Smart stores. The other is in Richmond. This location may not he as large as the Richmond store but it is well stocked with Asian foods as well as western foods. Store is conveniently located in Metrotown with buses and skytrain nearby. If you drive there is underground parking garage.

Staff actually smiles and greets you (unlike T&T). It's very similar to T&T in terms of stocked items though, majority Asian selection and a good pharmacy. It's a little shocking at first seeing PriceSmart carry this many Asian food items. So far I've visited PS more than T&T and Superstore. Their fruits and vegetables section is stocked with a fresh selection. Prices are quite reasonable and cheaper than T&T. This particular store is very catered to the Asian crowd. I'd say, 90%+ of the floor staff speak Cantonese or Mandarin. Parking is ample underground and there's a few 30min free parking spots above ground available before you enter the parkade for quick stops.

Regular prices here are ridiculous. They will not honour price matching unless the competitor has a Burnaby street address. They refuse to price match anything west of Boundary Road (e.g, East Vancouver) despite being located just a few blocks away. However, they will price match competitors at the far north, east and south edges of Burnaby. How does this policy make ANY sense?

Live seafood department should clean the water tanks; not so fresh seafood; lots variety; no free parking nearby if over 30 minutes

Alway prefer this Price Smart to the other Asian brand inside Metrotown, very well stocked. On sales items weekly and actually not expiring items like the other TnT store selling. Fresh produce department has room to improve. Cook food area is nice and open and you can see how they handling the food inside. Staff, mostly, are friendly. Except a few of them. I just don't line up there if I see them. Meat department is great. Keep up the good works.

A very much needed competitor to T&T. I like to buy raw meat, fruits, veggies, and some condiments (on sale) from here. They price match here and it's pretty painless. The pharmacy is also great - quick, friendly, and professional service.

All the tanks in the live seafood department are cloudy and filthy looking. The department manager needs to be fired or something. Anybody with a right mind should not be buying live seafood from here to consume.

This store keeps locking the only access door for wheelchair and strollers even after we spoke with supervisors and managers multiple times about this being against the law.

Only 1 cashier at 5pm.if you willing to spend 40 mins to wait for checkout, this is the place for you

Good underground parking.
Lots of Asian food choices including a good meat department.
Prepared food is OK but not as good as T&T.

Great store for all your needs.

I just purchased a small Chinese New Year big pot dish. It was delicious and over value. It made all my family members so enjoy and happy.
It's no other shop like T&T can compare.
As $98.88 content Abalone, dry scalop.so many items unit.
Very good!
Will come back next year again!

This location, at Station Square in Burnaby, has a great variety of foods that appeal to a wide range of cultural cuisines and tastes. Great accessibility as there's lots of parking - mostly underground and there are some spaces at street level.

There's a section there that sells hot foods which is a spot I always gravitate to as you can purchase a lunch box of either rice or noodles with selection of two or three items, Chinese BBQ, dim sum or some cold selections such as sandwiches or sushi.

There's also a seafood counter, a bakery (the Egg/Portuguese Tarts are good here - each individual tart a good size that fills you up) and the prices are quite reasonable.

As with other supermarkets, you have the various sections with fresh meat, fresh produce, frozen foods to round out the shopping experience for those looking for the usual or something totally different.

It's one of my go-to places to shop for cook at home or eat outside of home.

Visits are always satisfying.

Best pricesmart I've been to due to the unique selection of food. They really cater to the east Asian demographic in the area and also have different food than tnt in the mall so if you like East Asian food definitely come here. Very large and lots of selection I like to come here at least once a month even though I do my grocery shopping at superstore and Walmart mostly just to have a look around and pick up a few unique items

Best grocery place, have been shopping here weekly for a long time. Everything is clean, never overcrowded, and wonderful staff. You’ll find lots of Chinese food, dim sum, kind of like TNT

Really disappointed in their management. I drove all the way there today for sale ice-cream bars based on their flyer from a well known online app. Despite I shown them the flyer and the products are still in stock, the store does not want to honor it. I guess the management decided to retract a sale after the flyer was out since they removed all in-store flyers and covered the sale in their posted in-store flyer.

Maybe it is just me, I always thought a large and well known company like this will honor what was posted in their flyer. If they really do not want to honor a posted sale, they should at least remove all stocks from their shelve for a week so the product is no longer available.

It's good, cheap, lots of choices for Chinese groceries. An alternative to T&T. It has some things that T&T doesn't. I like their Chan noodles! Nice hot food section as well. Great sales all the time, decent bakery.

Lots of selections of ethnic food/sauces/produce at reasonable price. Store is bright and clean. Has hand sanitizer, paper towel and sanitizing spray for us to wipe down the shipping cart/basket right by the door. A good one stop shop to get everything you need from household items to groceries. They also have a bakery, seafood, meat counter as well as already cooked hot food counter with lots of different selections- mostly Asian food.

Kitchen Hot Food used to be not bad.
1) Price has risen several times. 2) The container has also shrunk a few times. 3) Today the smaller container was not even filled for a 2-item with Fried Rice by the staff. Triple whammy!

Peter and his dim sum team is awesome! The best is their deep fried taro dumplings! And their service is excellent too! I often shop in the Burnaby store, one of their cashier, Serene, is very helpful and polite too, thumbs up for her!

Great bakery, everything else is alright. Store is kept clean, and is a pleasant shopping experience. Not overly crowded which is a plus

Just found out about this place. Amazing mixed culture grocery in a new building. You can find a lot of things. I saw beautiful bonsai in the flower department.

By far one of my favorite places to shop as there is a variety of western and chinese/asian choices at this market! 1 stop shop grocery place for me.

The food is more expense than Superstore, Wal-Mart and TsT supermarkets. However if you join in their membership, you have a certain discount on most of the foods. I do not join the membership because I don't want to surrender any of my personal information to a company. I just hang around today.

My favorite grocery store, I find alot of healthy options and variety of food. Definetly my go to grocery store.

There are lots of selections for shoppers which is very good; however, one of their employees (i believe she's customer service representative) made me have really a bad shopping experience last week. We literately got stuck at the self-check machine, and on one came to help. We asked for her help but she stared at me with madness which made me and my friends feel so uncomfortable. We all understand working during the outbreak is painful but her behaviour is very unprofessional and upset customers.

What a great selection of foods from different countries in addition to the regular fare. Make sure you visit the bakery. Some good specials on fruit. Always clean and bright.

Smart prices from Pricesmart, but for the love of Groceries, stop asking me to redeem my cucumber for 900 points when 1 point is 1 dollar. If not, great produces all around.

Worst customer service ever!
Went to their cooked food counter department. Been standing there waiting for a staff to serve me since the other staff was already serving someone.

This chick totally ignored me, and scooped all the honey garlic chicken for her to take home that I was going to buy. Then i said are you not going to serve? And of course ignores my comment. Terrible service! Finally got my food then realized i got charged an extra small container as a small container! Like c'mon! Ugh!

From the previous Save-On-Foods renovated to the current PriceSmart, the store of similar size was able to learn, adapt and cater to the Asian clientele. With all the usual amenities of a Save-On-Foods, it feels more spacious, is able to provide better service than the competition in Metrotown with enough weekly deals to make it worthwhile for planned visits even when it's not as convenient to get to, depending on direction. Attention that the southern entrance automatic doors (towards Station Square) has a tendency to be locked earlier than is noted on the sign.

Always like to go there during weekend, they offer some hk style and Taiwanese style hot plate specially during weekend. The roast pork and BBQ are well price. Also they have some exotic fruit at the fresh produce section. Only down side is the parking= entrance is bit tricky.

This is the PriceSmart store that have everything in Chinese tag as far as I know, which is very convinient to me.
