Princess & The Pea Hotel

We absolutely loved our stay at the Princess and the Pea Hotel! Angela was superb both in friendliness and service! Her Dad Wally was just as good, both owners engaging in wonderful conversations with us. You can tell they both love people so they are in the right business being innkeepers. The cleaning staff were wonderful and polite, rooms were clean and orderly. The bed was cozy and comfortable and the room was quiet. You can tell there is a high standard here in all their operations. I highly recommend this accommodation property if you want to stay in an absolutely wonderful place run by wonderful people. We will definitely stay again!

Fantastic experience staying at the Princess and the Pea for my wedding earlier this month. We stayed in the Sleeping Beauty room and there was plenty of room for 3 of us to get ready the morning of the wedding. Angela was very attentive and even arranged a little breakfast area for me and my family who were also staying at the BnB to eat together.

It was a wonderful experience and I loved every moment of our stay in this beautiful hotel with the great service we got!

The hotel is a small treasure chest - renovated in the 19th century style with a lot of love (also to the detail), it is simply very comfortable. For our multi-week vacation in the region, it was the ideal starting point for all activities.

The service from the owner and her parents is unbeatable. They tried lovingly to anticipate every wish. It was an incredibly great time there.

We almost felt at home there - in a completely foreign country. We can heartily recommend the Princess & The Pea Hotel.

Just a lovely and charming place to stay. I've stayed in a few places and this charming B&B was the cleanest I've ever been in which for me is extremely important on my list for accommodations.

I've been to a lot of hotels over the years, but this one was a standout. So friendly, great service, ultra clean rooms, deeply comfortable bed, awesome breakfast! Every box was ticked on having a nice stay. The patio is like a tranquil oasis. So glad I chose to stay here.

My husband and I recently took the Solar Powered tour at Princess & the Pea B&B. Wally is the gregarious mastermind and presenter of this amazing net zero home. If you want to reduce your carbon footprint in your new build or existing home, this is the first place to visit. He showed us many clever, even simple do-able hacks to save energy. The best part? His stack of “zero owing” hydro bills! He even up-cycles old freebie furniture, restoring their elegance and giving them a new life.

Staying at the Princess & The Pea after our wedding was the best decision ever. I cannot say enough good things about the property and the owners and the amenities. Words can’t describe how wonderful our stay was! The entire place was so clean, warm and inviting with little places to gather whether you wanted to be inside or out. Angela was so accommodating and helpful recommending places to eat or visit and made our stay so very special. Breakfast served directly to your room was absolutely delicious with an amazing carafe of coffee and the perfect way to start each day. The bed was more comfortable than our own at home, we could have stayed a month! Wally was so gracious to give us a tour of his amazing passive home next door and he is a wealth of information.
