Laptop suddenly stopped connecting to Wi-Fi, took it in and service technician Richard was able to diagnose issue and correct within 5 minutes. Wouldn't take payment for his trouble ("didn't take long enough to worry about"). When I mentioned to him that I'd be leaving this review he said thanks, laughed and then said "make sure you tell them I was sarcastic and made fun of you". So there you are Richard, I said it.

Amazing staff! Very knowledgeable and so kind and patient even when you're being not-so-smart like I was. Helped me out asap and even told me all about what computer I should purchase next when mine kicks the dust. I recommend 100%. Thank you for everything!

These gentlemen are so patient, understanding and great at explaining at my level. At 75 years old, I needed and appreciate the work that they did, and their considerate attitude towards my needs.

I needed assistance in updating my Facebook account and Francis was able to help me with this quickly and efficiently in his always friendly way. I'm on the annual care plan with Priority 1 which means I always have a tech savvy person to turn to when I need advice.

Walked in with a laptop that had bricked the night before, had me out in 5 minutes with a fresh install at no charge. Top quality!

Priority 1 deserves a 5 star rating from me because Terry responded very quickly to investigate and clean up my laptop online. He then also went above and beyond my plan parameters by providing gratuitous shop time to verify that my backup external hard drive was failing and provide documentation to assist me in exercising the drive's warranty.

Needed help on Monday morning (of course) very quick response and problem solved. Francis is our rock!

I have been dealing with Priority 1 for many years. I've always had superior service from them. The staff are friendly, kind and speak in layman's terms to clients who are not technically minded. Recently I had some work done on my computer and it was all done in one day. I recommend Priority 1 for your computer needs.

The staff operated in a professional manner and provided me with good information so I could make reasonable decisions. The computer was an up grade and appears to be working well.

I have an older computer that finally gave me some grief. I took it to Priority1 and they had it up and running the next day for a reasonable charge. I have dealt with this company for a few years. They are good at what they do!

I was skeptical of the 5 star rating at first, but I'm glad I took a shot with these folks. Knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and incredibly affordable. Up front about all costs and willing to help me find what I needed, at a cost I could afford. I highly recommend these fantastic folks. I will be going back in the future.

Thank you for saving my computer! I am a bit of a computer nerd and I suspected my recent problems were due to a major windows update. I took my computer to another popular place and was told I would need to buy a new computer because my motherboard was shot.egads. I wasn't so sure and, as you should do with any medical diagnoses, I got a 2nd opinion at Priority 1. Note, the other place I took it to specializes in sales AND repair. Priority 1 specializes in REPAIR and networking.if you want to buy a retail computer from Priority 1 you can, but you'll have to wait for it.that's a good thing because you'll get exactly what you want! Am I glad I took it to Priority 1.my computer is running brilliantly. I would be lying if I said it wasn't a pain to set everything up again but the problem was not hardware.it was software, as I suspected. A small price to pay.thank you!

update 6 months later.my computer is still running brilliantly. Thanks again Priority 1!

Update - 2 years later - computer still running just fine! Has not had any issues since. Priority 1, you are the best!

So.cannot find a date anywhere but I believe this is year 3 since Priority 1 saved my computer, and it's still working! Sadly, if you update a review, the original review date is nowhere to be found. My original review (above) was about 3.5 years ago.

Our experience at Priority One was excellent. When we entered the store Barb greeted us and spent 10 minutes explaining our possible problem them proceeded to tell us what would happen once we left our laptop with there tech guys. Service so efficient with a phone call end of day and then next day our laptop was ready for pickup.

Terry was a very knowledgeable tech. He was patient and made sure we understood all he was doing and checked everything out at the end of the session. I highly recommend Priority 1 and their staff. We've used them for years and every time it has been a very successful session.

Priority 1 Computers is awesome! I dropped off a half started project thinking they would send me away. Much to my surprise, they were quite welcoming. They explained in detail the defective parts and what would have to be done to complete the job. Upon repair, they discovered that my computer was processing tasks slowly (I knew this). They explained thoroughly how hard-drives fail and that a diagnostic will reveal the issue. Before commencing anything further, they explained the associated costs in detail. What more can you ask for than transparency? Will definitely go back for future computer needs!

When my computer failed to boot up one morning, they made me feel like a priority by fixing the issue on my computer the same day so I could get back to my video editing. A la Miracle on 34th Street, they couldn't get the part I needed but a really friendly woman pointed me to the place that could. They'll always be my first call now.

I brought my MacBook for a battery replacement. Mark is very nice and answered all my questions with a warm attitude. I needed the work to be done in a short period of time and he managed to finish it quickly. Price is transparent and straight forward, no hidden fees at all. I am very happy with their work and will use them again for my computer service!

It can be difficult to find good customer service and care sometimes, but Priority 1 Computer Service Ltd.were great from my first telephone inquiry to their follow-up call advising what had been done to correct my HP's starting problem, to the very courteous and funny service at the counter when I picked up my machine. You can imagine our dismay when our e-mail program crashed with dozens of family photos, folders I had made filled with files, a folder with all our on-line orders and important documents I had saved in them. Priority one has been our go to computer service for over 20 years and they did not disappoint this time either. We made an appointment for the following day to have the problem fixed remotely! In no time Marton installed a new e-mail program, had found my folders, files, contact information and transferred it all to the new program. I can not say enough about the kind, courteous service that Priority One Computer Service provides at a very reasonable cost.

Been with Priority 1 for about 2 years. Find them wonderful to deal with and they know what they are doing. Very happy with them in the Victoria office when I have had the odd problem and have set me lately when I moved to Sidney BC. Not a big office but very efficient nonetheless.
