Amanda is hands down the best hairstylist I’ve ever been to and she’s the only one I go to since my first appointment with her. She genuinely cares about not only your hair, but your health which is fantastic and she’s seriously the most sweetest person, I have lots of social anxiety and find it hard to talk to people, but I feel so comfortable with her! She’s the only one I trust to bleach my hair never once had an issue and it always comes out so smooth I also love getting crazy colors in my hair she’s done pink, purple, green and does amazingly with such vibrant colors <3

I have been seeing Amanda for several years. I find the salon very comfortable and know that I always get an excellent hair cut and colour. Now my son goes and she here also. We both trust her with every look that we want to try. Highly recommend this salon.

Manager I think “Amanda”? Is super rude and had a cold, unwelcoming demeanour. Danielle doesn’t understand the difference between balayage and stripey highlights. It looks like she aged me by 10 years from the hair job she did. I wouldn’t doubt that all of the positive reviews are either written by friends or fake. Don’t come here unless you want stripey highlights and an unfriendly vibe. The hairdresser (at a different salon) who fixed the monstrosity that was done to my hair couldn’t believe it. 0/10

I have been seeing Amanda for my colour for a few years now, and let me tell you, and she has consistently knocked it out of the park. I generally get very vibrant colours, and her understanding of the chemistry and application of colour is top notch. She has been able to take my very dark, thick hair to blonde, purple, red and anything in between. Highly, highly recommended.

Alexis did a wonderful job. Salon is clean, quaint like a bunch of friends getting together. Will always go here.

I have been going to Danielle for few years now. I followed her from her last place. She is amazing! Highly recommend for all hair needs! She is definitely the best colorist out there. I can't recommend her enough!

I am so happy to have discovered Amanda at Prism so many years ago - I have been seeing her since 2015! She has given me the best hair cuts, hair styles, hair colour and best service I have ever had at a hair salon. I recommend her to anybody who asks. You will NOT be disappointed when you work with Amanda! She does a great job on my teenage son as well!

I really enjoy coming here. Very pleasant staff and conversation. Hair wash stations are adjustable so I wasn't as uncomfortable as I normally am. The staff were great and weren't at all pushy about selling their products. (My lady suggested/told meabout the product she had used in my hair and then left it at that). I highly recommend coming here.

I came to Prism for the first time and I left very happy with my hair. Danielle did an amazing job on my balayage! I appreciated her honesty in regards to how much my hair would realistically lighten, and I'm glad she suggested a colour that would work for me and would keep my hair healthy. She was also very easy to talk to and made the hours she spent doing my hair go by quickly. Great hair colourists are hard to come by, so I will definitely be coming back.

Amanda and all the girls that work here are lovely! I enjoy going in to get my hair done and have been doing so for 7 years! I always had trouble before with hair stylists doing my hair too yellow or frying it but Amanda does my blonde just right! Highly recommend getting a cut or style here!:)

My haircut done wrong a simple bangs become too short.she didn’t know how to cut/ hairstyle.will not comeback anymore.

One of my favorite salons ive ever been too if not the best!:) Although like all salons there are some hairstylists that do a better job than others they will all stand by their cuts. One time they stayed late as they made a mistake with my dye and fixed it for it to end up looking great! All the ladies have always been very nice and welcoming.

I love prism hair designs it's the only place I'll go to get my hair done. Amanda is amazing she does such an amazing job. She takes such great care of you and your hair when you are in her chair. Amanda has been cutting my hair for years and always does a great job and I finally dyed my hair with her and I'm totally in love with my hair and feel like myself again. I recommend Amanda 100%.

I have been going to Amanda for all my hair needs for many years now, and it’s always such a great experience! She is very professional and very fun to chat with, and she always does an amazing job! She is realistic about what to expect with your specific hair, and is always careful to not cause damage with any bleaching/colouring she does. The salon itself is very clean and tidy, and all the other staff members are very friendly. Always a positive experience there!

I went to Danielle for Balayage as I had seen some great pictures of her work on Facebook. She did an excellent job on my hair and took into consideration everything that I wanted. She explained everything as she went along which was great and she is very confident in her ability. Although it was my first time having my hair done by Danielle, I felt like a trusted her right away. Will be going back to Danielle for sure! I love my hair!

Amanda is a intelligent, experienced sytlist. She listens you and delivers. Every vist is a pleasure.
As a result shes a busy girl, as everyone wants her. Shes worth the wait.

Gail is a gem. She is wonderful to speak with and a wonderful stylist. She is a master at perms. I am and will continue to be a repeat customer.

I had a picture of what I wanted, haircut unprofessional, i have a gap in the back of head which is very short and it is not anything i wanted. I would not ever go back even to have it fixed.

Went here for the first time in February to get my blonde fixed up and the experience I had was amazing! Amanda did such a good job fixing and refreshing my hair, not to mention how fun she is to talk to! Definitely my new go to salon and will be booking with her again!

Apparently Amanda is highly rated. I didn't ask for her and consequently am hard pressed to say 2 stars. One would be pushing it.update. I was offered a redo. I am very pleased. Great job. Thank you. Great management.

I would 100% recommend seeing Amanda for your hair. She is super knowledgable and talented. Amanda is also really good about communicating clear expectations about what is attainable for your hair goals which I really appreciate. You will not be disappointed!

I just moved to the area so found this salon based on amazing reviews. While the service was friendly and the hair dresser was lovely, to my disappointment haircut turned out to be from hell and my layers that she cut are so bad the only way to fix it is to probably just chop my long hair off to my shoulders.
EDIT: they did reach out after and offered to fix my hair, which was really appreciated gesture!

Came here to get my hair coloured. Staff was very friendly, the salon was very clean. My stylist Danielle did an excellent job with my hair and gave me exactly the colour I wanted. I will be back!

I love this salon so much! I see Amanda and have asked her to do everything from a full bleach out, to a natural look, to foils. I’ve asked for a super short hairdo, and a long look with extensions. She’s done all of these looks so wonderfully and I trust her with my hair and will continue recommending her to friends and family.

It was my first experience at Prism. I was nervous to get a cut at first but after reading the reviews I build trust in the place and employees. Believe me this is the best place in the town. Affordable price and good services. Staff is really friendly and welcoming:)

I went to Sonia a couple of times and every time I am so amazed & satisfied with the results. She is friendly, her suggestions helps alot in deciding what would be the best for my hair, which haircut suits me the most. She knows alot about hair care & hair treatment as her recomendations about the products and hair care routine has helped me alot, as I always wish to have smooth healthy hair & I am able to achieve the desired results only bcz of her. She is the best for me & I m really thankful to her.

I have been going to Sonia since I moved into this neighborhood about two years ago. She is absolutely amazing in what she does. She knows about her products and I can trust her recommendations without any doubt. She always helps me with my kids haircut as well and they absolutely love seeing her! She is so friendly, calm and patient. I have also dealt with other staff at Prism when Sonia is not around and they all are amazing, helpful and knowledgeable. I love the service at this location!:) Keep up the good work ladies.

I have been going to Sonia at Prism for 4 months now, and she never fails to amaze me. She is super friendly and very knowledgeable about hair. I have never left the salon without a smile on my face and a great hairstyle with awesome color/highlights. She listens to my concerns and gives me advice on how to overcome them. She is extremely thorough and very diligent. Time just flies when is doing my hair as we never stop talking and giggling. She is such a sweetheart and I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Went and visited Amanda at Prism Hair Designs IN Cloverdale and every time I go and visit her to get my hair done.she always does an amazing job and has so much passion for the industry that shes in. This woman has been in the industry for 9 years and it really shows. Shes bubbly, easy to talk to and meets every expectation if not more than what you're wishing for. Had my hair done by their new stylist Gail yesterday. I have to say that she was amazing. Great cut, great service and she was so sweet and caring. She has many years of experience. Prism is so lucky to have this lovely lady.

I had booked in for a colour, wash, haircut and blow dry. Unfortunately I didn't have time for the color so I gave ample notice and said I would just like a haircut, wash and blow dry. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment time and wasn't taken to my chair until 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. So after 30 minutes of waiting I finally sit in my chair, discuss with the stylist what I would like done and then she's about to start cutting my hair and I was like aren't you going to wash it? She looked all confused and said I was only booked in for a haircut. Definitely would not recommend anyone to go here. It was a waste of time and it didn't feel like they even cared. They didn't even try to reschedule another appointment just let me walk out.

I have been going here for 3 yrs to have my hair cut by Amanda, she always does an amazing job. She gives me exactly what I ask for. Never disappointed.

I was in today to get a simple shampoo cut and style and Amanda Ellis was so professional and gentle. I usually go to other places and they comb my hair so aggressively to the point where it hurts after but I left Amanda’s chair with no pain in my scalp and a very heart warming experience. I recommend anyone to get their services done here.

I was able to call and get an appointment the same day. The hairdresser I had (sorry can't remember her name she had pink hair) was fantastic and fixed my hair that was cut incorrectly. She was very professional and layered my hair exactly how I wanted it and was attentive to the style and length I asked for. I will be returning and am very happy to find a stylist in my new neighborhood.

I am new to this area and I was so afraid to try new hair salon. But I went to this hair salon and my hair stylist was Amanda and she was super nice and super knowledgeable. She gave me an exact haircut the way I wanted. I highly recommend this place.

I am beyond happy with this Hair Studio.
I have a really hard time trusting people to cut my hair properly since I have curly hair and it has been ruined by hair dressers a number of times. I came into Prism for the first time and was blown away by how knowledgeable my hair stylist was. She cut my hair exactly how I wanted and really brought my curls back to life.
Not to mention the fact that the service was great. Tawnya was so welcoming, cheerful and open to hearing all the ideas I had about my hair.
Definitely the best way to be introduced into a new salon.
The prices here are so reasonable and the quality is top notch.

Fantastic amazing service any time, any age they show the love to your hair and care. I look forward to my monthly-bi monthly visits! My cut is just a simple cleanup and shave but they treat you like every appoinment is important, no matter the compilcation or simplicity. I recommend Prism Hair Designs to everyone I know. I’ve been going to Prisim Hair Design for the past few years. My stylist is Amanda and I trust no other with my cut and colour. She’s super knowledgeable, as are all the other ladies in the salon.and not to mention affordable.
I make the effort to drive out to Cloverdale from the North Shore or Downtown and it’s definitely worth it!
