I have been coming to Project Skin for many years - and I always look forward to my treatments here. Most recently, I have been seeing Robin for facials + microneedling, and she is simply amazing!:) I always feel well taken care of, and she doesn't hesitate to do a little extra to ensure I'm happy with my results each time. I absolutely love Project Skin! My skin has completely transformed over the past two years of treatments with this clinic. Robin who does my facials is constantly updating my procedure based on how my skin is reacting to current weather or diet. It’s fully catered to my particular needs at any given time and it’s given me the best skin I’ve had in fourth years! I struggled with adult acne my whole life and now it’s completely gone and my skin is glowing. I cannot recommend Project Skin and my girl Robin enough!

Went for laser hair removal on my neck. The service at project skin was excellent. They were extremely friendly and helpful! Would absolutely recommend project skin.

I’m a male with some skin issues. I had a facial with Amanda who gave me an awesome facial. Thinking that, since they are a skin clinic, they would be able to provide some guidance about potential issues with my skin. I was told that one of the docs does not provide consults and the other only provides consults through a referral through my GP even though she is not a dermatologist. I asked for a card for their doc and they only had one card and couldn’t share that with me. It would seem that since they sold to new owners, making money is the objective rather than creating value for their clients.

From my very first interaction with Project Skin my experience was very positive. Dr. Ip took time to make me feel comfortable discussing my skin care goals. I enjoyed my treatments so much I’ve referred family and friends. All the feedback has been positive from them. I am thankful Project Skin values their clients and the staff are professional, friendly and they do not make you feel rushed or pressured into purchasing products. I am happy with their service as they truly seem to care about their clients experiences. The location is easy to access and also very clean.

My first experience with Dr. Ip was absolutely incredible! I had a mole removal on my chin. She explained everything she was doing so I understood the process fully. And she was so patient with me even though I was having a rough day. She is a smart doctor and I definitely trust her practice!

I saw Dr. Lo to treat my forehead wrinkles with botox and to explore non-surgical filler options to address the shape of my nose. One year in, I love my nose and appreciate the time that he and his assistant Jessie take to create results that look natural and polished while making the experience comfortable and relaxing.

Honestly, I have been to so many MedSpa's and this one is hands down the best because of Jessica! If you're booking here you have to book with her. I usually never write reviews but I had to because an experience here with her is life-changing. She's so knowledgable about what would work for your skin, and is so kind, and professional. She really personalizes your facial and I never knew a facial could make such a big difference. The products she recommends really help you see long term results. I'm so happy to have found her! Book with her and trust me you will not regret it.

I have been seeing Dr. Lo for my injections at the Richmond location but decided to visit him at the Vancouver clinic for Picoway treatments. After two treatments, the spots on my face have significantly lightened and I am now able to go out without make up. As always, he is always so gentle and kind.

Dr. Lo was so thorough explaining to me about the procedure. He was very gentle and made the whole process comfortable. I had under eye fillers done and my eye bags virtually disappeared. The results were natural looking and I received many compliments. I recommend Dr. Lo and his wonderful staff to all my friends and family!

I was referred to Dr. Lo and Project Skin by a friend after I swooned over his beautiful face:) I’ve never had any type of work done before, but Dr. Lo and Jessie were assuring and patient with me, answering my many questions. They were very easy going and personable which made my experience enjoyable! And, of course the finished product…I’m very satisfied! I first saw Robin a month before my wedding. Within that short amount of time, she had my skin glowing for my wedding! Robin has such a calm demeanour and is always so helpful before, during and post treatments. She has helped me repair my skin after a wax+retinol burn that left marks on my skin 6 months before meeting her. I am so thankful for her help. Can’t wait to return to Project Skin for more relaxing and effective treatments! ️

I went to see Dr. Janet about volume loss in my face. The results were amazing, I am so impressed with her skills that i almost cant believe when i see myself in the mirror. Everyone in the clinic was so welcoming and professional. They might be slightly pricier than other clinics but in my opinion is worth every extra dollar.

I will definitely go back if i have further skin concerns.

Absolutely wonderful staff. They make me feel very comfortable and never push treatments on me. Kyle does my face treatments and he is THE BEST. He checks in on me post treatment to make sure things are going well. Dr. Ip is also so kind and helpful. I always look forward to going in.

Facials here with Jess are phenomenal and the PS front desk are lovely.
Jess is knowledgeable, professional and genuinely cares about your facial needs and skin care. I had scarring and dark spots on my face after shingles and she was a life saver before my wedding. She was very informative and gentle and did everything in her control to make sure my skin was healed and looking/feeling it’s best. The scarring was dramatically reduced and barely noticeable after only a couple treatments and I couldn’t have asked for better results within such a short time frame to work with. I always leave feeling refreshed, relaxed and glowing. Jess is now the only person I allow to touch my face and I contact her for all my facial care questions and concerns.

Dr Ip is a lovely, highly professional doctor that made me feel very comfortable in the chair. Greatly appreciate her genuine care and amazing skill. Highly recommend. I look forward to more sessions with Dr Ip.

I was at Project Skin for the first time today! I was recommended by one of the actresses I work on on the TV series The Good Doctor. My experience was wonderful! Very informative, relaxing and I left with absolutely glowing skin! The aesthetician who provided my treatment was extremely knowledgeable and gave me a thorough skin analysis and appropriate skin care for my needs! HIGHLY recommend Project Skin MD

I've been to their Richmond location for silk peel several times. The service was good there. So when I received the email regarding Fraxel promotion I contacted them right away and I wanted to buy the 3 times package. So emailed them back and force few times and booked the virtual consultation on 21st at 9: 30am. I received an email to confirm my appointment a day ahead. But no one called me at 9: 30am on 21st, until 9: 55, there's a girl called me said somehow they messed up my appointment and it shows 23rd in their system. And she wants to see if they can do it at 10am but my schedule wasn't that flexible to switch around, so I said no. My question is, if my appointment shows on 23rd in their system, how come I received a reminder email to confirm my 21st appointment? Anyway, I don't think I can trust somewhere that this disorganized to do a laser treatment on my face. What if they managed to "mess up" the level they suppose to use on my face.

What a great experience! I was hesitant at first, these types of businesses can be portrayed as superficial and judgemental but on the contrary the staff made this process so easy, painless and actually ENJOYABLE. This company has built a solid team that prioritizes building authentic relationships with their clients. BRAVO! My initial meeting with Vanessa led me to Angela and her assistants who did a fabulous job at making me feel at ease and excited about my treatments. Results have started appearing and I couldn't be happier.

I love it here! Dr. McGillivray and his team are all amazing. Stephanie and Karen always listen to ALL my concerns and take their time to address each one. Both Dr. McGillivray and nurse Angela are the best of the best, they are truly artists. I recommend them to everyone I know. If your thinking about checking them out, just do it already, I promise you won’t regret it.

First time at Project MD and overall experience was smooth and what I expected. First of the place is spotless and very luxe looking. Their covid protocols are great and I felt very informed and comfortable about stepping in. I did thermage face with Kyle and I really loved my time there. He was very kind and funny and made the time went by very quickly! I can’t wait to go back and try some of there other services! Highly recommend!:)

Jessica Berto did an amazing facial. Very thorough, detailed, and well educated on skin care. Best facial I’ve ever had! Not only relaxing and a safe environment but Jess along with all the staff were very friendly. Thank you Project Skin!

I can’t comment on their actual services because I haven’t had the chance to have one.
I went in for a consult for a facial laser treatment for acne scars and laser hair removal. They booked a virtual appointment for 3 weeks later. The consult itself was regular and the technician/nurse told me that she will send me cost soon. I have been waiting for more than 4 weeks. They just don't want new clients, I just wasted my time waiting for an email. So disappointed.

I had a treatment with Kyle and he was so kind and professional. He explained every part of the procedure, checked in constantly on my comfort and really let me know what to expect and when. I’m so glad he was my nurse and can’t wait to see the results unfold over the next few months!

I'm amending my original review of three stars because they have truly made amends for the issues below. They offered me a complimentary treatment, were thorough and genuinely seem to care about me and my business. Much appreciated.

Original review: TLDR: Disorganized, poor at honouring appointment times

If you are a planner, this is not the company for you. I have been doing business with Project Skin for one year. It started with a IPL treatment that was excellent. They took before photos before the treatment. Then, over the winter and pre-covid, I had a series of four fraxal treatments. I was looking forward to seeing the before and afters, but they lost the before photos from my initial visit. During one visit, they were running 45 minutes behind which they didn't communicate to me. There are many other things I could have done in that time had they been able to let me know of the time delay.

Most recently, they simply no-showed for an appointment. At all. I really respect people and companies who honour their customers' time and am learning to not take it for granted. We had a scheduled zoom meeting and there was no correspondence from them telling me the appointment had been changed or canceled, they just no-showed.

So, I like their facility and staff but they aren't the most organized, or very good with honouring appointment times.

This place breathes class from the time you walk through the front door. The staff is friendly and helpful and the facility is clean.second to none.

I love Project Skin MD! Their silk peel facial is amazing. My skin has never looked or felt better. All of the staff I've interacted with have been incredibly professional and knowledgeable. This is the first clinic like this I've been to where I don't feel pressured to purchase the products they sell (ended up buying some anyway because they're soooo good!). Would recommend their services to anyone and everyone!

There was a miscommunication with the treatment I booked vs.the treatment I received but the manager Bushra was quick to get in touch with me to resolve the issue - She listened to what I had to say and found a solution that I was happy with. Jessica was also very understanding of the situation and in the end I left very happy with the microneedling treatment I received. Jessica is very knowledgeable about various skin treatments, facials and products and always does a great job of explaining different options for my skin type. Thank you Bushra and Jessica for the excellent customer service you provided!

Highly recommend Project Skin MD. I recently had surgery with Doctor Loizides and I would recommend him to anyone. I was made to feel extremely comfortable from my first consultation to the final consultation. I also recently had a medical facial with Stephanie, who is extremely professional and amazing. You are guaranteed top class customer service here.

The staff here are friendly & knowledgeable & really know their stuff! The only downside is that you have to book appointments almost 2 months in advance which is challenging with a busy work and travel schedule

I've had three treatments with Dr. Li (Botox, filler and IPL over 5 sessions) in the past year. During my initial consult I asked her what would give me the most bang for my buck. She gave me honest advice and I proceeded with that treatment. And she was bang on right! I started receiving compliments that very day. I have been so pleased with each treatment. She is very knowledgeable, patient and easy going. Leticia is also lovely, answers all my questions and gives great advice.

Looking forward to many more years of treatment with Dr. Li and Project Skin MD!

I put this experience behind me until an influencer recently posted about how amazing this place is. I booked a consultation for some persistent bumps on my jawline. I specifically checked off on the consultation form that I was NOT interested in hearing about injectables. The dermatologist glossed over my concern area and proceeded to criticize my entire face. Saying my under eyes could use filler to puff up the skin, I should start preventative Botox for the lines on my forehead and she literally said the exact words, “does the double chin bother you. ” I actually laughed uncomfortably in shock because no I didn’t. I wasn’t aware I had a double chin. Thanks. Then they provided me with a $5000 quote for all the procedures they “recommend” when all I wanted was a facial and some skincare! Complete waste of $150

Roxanne is amazing. I have dealt with spider veins on my legs for 25 years. In all my treatments I have not had the great success that Roxanne achieved. I had a larger vein on the front of one knee which was very purple and prominent. She worked on it for 2 treatments and succeeded! It is gone. She not only does great work but educated me in ways to prevent them from coming back as soon. She was very realistic in discussing goals and helping me know what to expect overall. I respected her nursing background and solid experience. I highly recommend Roxanne if you are considering vein treatment.

I have been seeing Dr. Mcgillivray for almost 2 years now for fillers and I have never been happier. He is truly a face God. I also have been treated well by his team including all the assistants and the friendly receptionists Rita <3 and Lindsay. I have recommended them to all my friends and family and they too are extremely satisfied with Project Skin MD. Keep up the great work guys!

I can’t comment on their actual services because I haven’t had the chance to have one, but my customer experience had been far less that I expected of such a highly recommended clinic.
I went in for a consult for a facial laser treatment. The consult itself was fine and the technician/nurse told me that she wanted to consult with the doctor about the best of two possible courses of treatment. He was away so they would get back to me within the week.
One week passes.
Two weeks.
I call and ask about my consultation and the receptionist says someone will get back to me by end of day. I’m still waiting.

I love going to Gwen for a facial here. She is amazing and very knowledgeable. She is very personable and able to give me honest advice on what my skin needs and how it’s doing. My skin feels great after I get a treatment done. I highly recommend project skin and Gwen!

Gwen and the entire Project Skin team are so kind and knowledgeable. The space is warm and welcoming, and definitely not intimidating. Everyone is there to help you be your best self. Highly recommend the facial with Gwen complete with Dermaplanning and the Max LED!
