Been trying to get refills for 2 weeks. Told too busy week 1, now still no because of weather even though the roads are no longer bad. And they've had our broken tank for over 1 yr and every time the truck shows up to refill its " sorry phone the office. " And back in circles we go on that. Avoid this place if you can!

Excellent business, the service man was professional and the location worked for our 45 ft bus!

Super friendly and helpful staff (Ali in particular). I'd have expected indifference behind perfunctory politeness but these guys are really cool.

The Burnaby Propane Depot went above and beyond in helping us with a propane fridge problem. Unique, the brand, washed their hands of it and Mike stepped in and worked on it for us and got us back in business. Good people there!

This is truly a CANADIAN company, i saw negro, indian, chinese, first nation peoples in the compound, i drove all the way from van south to see if they had what i wanted, i guess the owner / manager (honestly) i dont know, was very HELPFULL to show / tell me the product i wanted, even tested the regulator / hose to make sure it fire up, nowadays you dont see that kinda service anymore, plus they had a BOXER DOGGO in the shop.i would go there again, even with high gas prices in a heartbeat.

I recently use the Propane Depot to have my two 20 pound horizontal propane tanks recertified. Great service and reasonable prices. I’ll be back

Really feel bait and switched. I was told on the phone recertification was $20. When I brought the tanks the guy (thinning hair, gray beard) said $70 plus purge / fill. Costco is $80 for a new tank.ludicrous. Will just get new ones at Costco. I understand the week but that's ridiculous.

Most of the employees are great and friendly. It’s a fine place to fill a tank. The manager however caused me to walk out of the store almost immediately with his short, unhelpful answers. No interest in actually helping me when I was looking to buy a tank there. Just kept pointing to a stack of tanks outside with no prices marked.

Great service, friendly and helpful staff. Propane fill of my 20 lb tank, cost competitive. I lost my local place for refill, went here because of the reviews. My new propane refill place.

I just picked up today a propane regulator hose, 1/4 quick lock for patio fire table to a 20L tank, they did not carry what I was looking for as a ready to use product but in less than five minutes they custom ensembled it for me and I’m very happy with their service!

Just bring specifications, pics etc if you want it quick they aren’t magicians but they are nice, reliable and knowledgeable.

As a non driving Disabled person who loves to BBQ I use a lot of Propane, but unfortunately have had never been able to get a 20Ib tank home as I no longer can drive and apparently it is against the law to transport propane on Transit and local Taxi's also refused to transport full propane bottles so because of that I have been buying and using 1Ib tanks for the past five years at a great expense living on a Disability plus it is so hard to find places to recycle the disposable bottles.
Well because of a Facebook comment I made on the Propane Depot's page explaining my issue, I was blessed to meet Alex the owner of this Propane Depot, who was generous and not only donated a full tank to me but he also delivered it to my residence in Coquitlam with great professionalism and kindness.
I give this Propane Depot and Alex a 10/10 rating.

I didn't expect such awesome service from a little propane shop. The two ladies working were so knowledgable, accommodating and shared tales of fermentation and gardening projects.

I have been filling my propane tanks here for years and have never been disappointed with their prices or service. I will keep on coming here for sure!

One of the best places in Burnaby for propane and propane accessories! I used to used charcoal but with Propane Depots Propane I taste the meat, not the heat.

These guys don’t fill up the propane tanks at the pump so they can charge 3 times more money. While everyone else in town and even the same propane depot on main st does it.
Don’t go to these guys and just use any gas stations to fill up your propane for 1/3rd of the price.

Excellent service for propane tank refill and/or replacement! Helpful with propane fittings, gauges, etc.

Great to deal with. Measured by flow meter, not by weight on a “iffie ” scale. You get what you paid for. Been dealing there for years.

Only pay for what you fill, unlike other places where you are charged a full tank no matter what.

Absolutely unhelpful employee, unwilling to even attempt to try and help. Very discouraging, treated me poorly. Probably some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. 100% would NOT recommend.

Excellent, knowledgeable staff. Were able to fill and little 5 pounder in 5 min that most refill places took 20 minutes or more. Good prices, too.
