Protex Kamloops

This is the fourth vehicle I have had at Protex Kamloops for Paint Protection. In 2008 they did my F250 the day I bought it and it still looks amazing today! I had my dad’s Ranger done a few years ago & my cherry red motorcycle fender which is incredible!

This week Dave & his crew did the XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS FUSION to my new Aviator and WOW did they do a good job! This the first time I have done the full hood & absolutely LOVE IT! You can still see the Pearl in the paint like it wasn’t even there. I went with the ULTIMATE PLUS FUSION because it is a clear, high gloss, self-healing film that protects vehicles from rock chips, scuffs, and light scratches. The film’s naturally slick surface helps repel water which makes protected surfaces easier to wash and stay clean. In my dusty dirty parking lot this is a must <3

A new vehicle is such a big investment that to me this is a no brainer. The COK loves to use gravel on our roads so now I am ready for winter!

I never would have thought about the luggage trim protection (coming from an F250) so I am very glad that they asked me if I wanted it before I scratched it up.

With only 250km on my car, now I can start driving it without the stress of rock chips. The headlight protection is fantastic because if down the road they are scratched up Dave and his crew can replace it so it looks good as new. My F250 went around 10 years before I had it replaced. Everyone wonders why my old truck looks so good and it’s all thanks to Protex Kamloops! 100% recommend.

I’ve had paint protection on almost all of my previous vehicles, and I can say this has by far been by best experience. The team at Protex spent time a few days before our appointment making sure we got exactly what we wanted as our vehicle was new to market and had a large painted area on the front of the truck.
When it came time to install, the workmanship is top notch, and the look is absolutely flawless, something I cannot say about film I’ve had installed from other shops in the past. We’re incredibly happy with the end result, and cannot recommend Protex enough.

If you’re looking for the best quality window tinting and paint protection film, Protex is it. Top quality customer service, everyone there is very helpful; they take the time to figure out your needs and recommend the best products.

Extremely unimpressed with the tint job done on my truck at Protex In Kamloops. They kept me waiting with no certain finish time and kept prolonging it hour by hour. They installed the wrong film and then charged me more for their mistake. The tint does not cover the entire window leaving gaps around the edges with no tint and does not blend nicely at all. I have tinted all of my trucks over the years and this is by far the worst job that’s been done on my truck. Prices are double even though quality of workmanship is half.
Staff is nice but finished product is poor.

Great service at Protex getting our new car car some paint protection. They applied film to the entire front of the car including the whole hood and you can't even tell. Worth every penny considering paint on new cars is very thin and chips so easily especially with our gravel covered highways in the winter. They also did my Tacoma a few years back and it's still looks great with no paint damage. Great service and knowledgeable staff, a must if you want to keep you ride from being sandblasted. Highly recommend!

L had my 2024 kia covered with protective XPEL protex. I drive on the hwy a lot and I believe Protex is the best protection barrier for my vehicle.

After purchasing a pristine 2018 Audi Q5 I contacted Protex Kamloops to look into a paint protection package. After considering the packages I opted for the ceramic coated PPF half-wrap which protects the full bumper, headlights and mirrors, along with the leading third of the hood and front fenders.
Installation was outstanding I'm extremely happy with the result. As you can see from the pictures, the boundaries between the protective film and the unprotected paint are almost invisible. It's been on for 4 months now and through multiple washes without any problems. Highly recommended.

This is the 2nd vehicle we've brought to Protex. They are very friendly, service is fast and the quality is superior. I highly recommend Protex. Just got my car back from protex, and I couldn't be happier with the fantastic job Dave and his team did! The attention to detail and the quality of product is at the top of its class! I feel confident knowing my car is protected with full front end ppf (including all the black on the hood/roof) and full ceramic coating across the whole vehicle. The difference in temperature in the cabin after getting ceramic tinted windows is also incredible!

Dave and his team did such an excellent job with my brand new vehicle. I went in wanting to add some personal flair, and Dave and his team did an absolute bang-up job protecting my entire front end including black hood and roof. I love driving my vehicle around knowing it’s completely protected in the front, but also stands apart from any other one that might be driving around.

Great customer services (David) and great product. I got the XR plus film that block nearly all infrared heat through the windows making the car cooler when leaving it.

I was able to call the day early and get in the next morning. They were finished in a couple of hours.

Excellent work done promptly (early). Very clean, professional shop. All options were discussed thoroughly. This is the third vehicle we have had this protection on and have been very happy. Couldn't be happier with the work that Protex did on our Pilot. The paint protection film is a must if you want to keep your vehicle protected and looking new for years to come. Would definately recommend these guys and the professional level of work they provide.

I recently had the 70% heat-reducing tint installed on my 2023 VW Tiguan, covering all windows except the front. I must say, the difference it has made is remarkable. The car's interior and seats now experience a significant reduction in heat. This is particularly comforting when we take our dogs on long road trips. Even with the sun shining through the windows, our furry companions no longer endure excessive heat. It's worth noting that one of our dogs likes to rest her head on the window, and thanks to the tint, she doesn't feel nearly as much heat as before.

In fact, we unintentionally conducted a little experiment. We left a rubber shoe in direct sunlight, forgetting that we had the tint installed. After an hour, we were surprised to find that the shoe was only warm to the touch, despite the 70% tint being nearly invisible. This goes to show the effectiveness of the tint in preventing heat buildup.

In conclusion, I highly recommend installing this film on your windows, especially if you have dogs. It offers excellent protection against the scorching heat of summer, and your furry friends will undoubtedly appreciate it.
