Puptown Girls Dog Lounge & Spa

They are great I have a little hand-full boy who needs a place to his energy out and increasing social skills. I took him to 4 other daycares. My dog bit one of staff, sweet Alex, out of panicking. They were so sweet about him and gave him one more chance. He is now 100% better and doing so well.

I have been a customer for 3+ years for boarding, daycare and grooming. It is often less than perfect but good enough to continue going and using their services. Until last week when my dogs got the most horrendous groom provided by Cassia.

I was devastated when I saw what had been done to my 2 King Charles Cavalier Spaniels. After spending almost a year growing out their coats, combing their coats out daily, bathing and cleaning them to grow out their long silky coats. Cassia shaved my dogs after I specifically told her EXACTLY how I wanted them groomed.

I arrived on time for my appointment, asked to speak to Cassia so I could show her exactly what I wanted done for their groom. She told me she was running 40 minutes late. (why they didn’t call me ahead of time to tell me that is another question but.). Imagine my surprise then when I got a call that my dogs would be ready right on time. She spent 40 minutes less grooming my dogs than she should of and appears to have taken the shortcut of using clippers, shaving my dogs coat down to less than an inch long. When I expressed my dismay her response - “Oh, this isn’t what you wanted”. What? It’s exactly opposite of what I told her I wanted!

Cassia clearly does not have the minimum qualifications to be a groomer - the standard groom for Cavaliers would never include shaving their coats down like she did. Any groomer knows this - well except for Cassia apparently. So after all my effort over the last year I now have 2 dogs that don’t even resemble their breed and won’t for months to come.

I was refunded the cost of their groom but that certainly doesn’t make up for all the time in the past year or the complete lack of accountability and refusing to follow the directions I provided to her. Do not use Cassia’s services if you want your dog to be groomed to their breed standard.

I hesitated to write this review as the last client that left a 1 star review was vilified by the owners, accused of cyberbullying and they ran an internal campaign to incentivize clients to leave a good review to boost their ratings. If they call me out as a bully for leaving this review then so be it, clients deserve to know they employ unqualified groomers that don't know how to groom to the breed standard.

Ditcher has been going to Nur for grooming. He loves her so much, we had a bad experience with his old groomer, they gave him infection two times, he didn't like grooming until he met with Nur every time he comes home super handsome, I recommend Nur and puptown to everyone.

Took our puppy in for a grooming today and we were so happy with the experience. Cassia was extremely patient and explained beforehand what her plan was with our puppy. She took her time making sure he had a good experience and didn’t rush the full groom. We will be bringing our pup back for sure!

We recently had our first experience here and it was incredible. Cassia was SO open, gentle and caring with our 3 y.o. Rescue pup, Vedder - as it was our first time bringing him in for a professional grooming. She took extra time and care to ensure it was a smooth and pleasant experience for him. Not only that, but she executed the grooming exactly how we had talked about it and he looked great afterwards. I can not recommend them enough, we will definitely be back!

My dog loves Puptown girls and they love him! I picked him up yesterday from being at their day care all day and he didn’t want to leave! We have also used their overnight services and they are fantastic. The girls send us updates about our dog while we were away and they take such good care of him.

Taking care of my friend’s dog Willow, I mistakenly drop her at the wrong day care where they took her and treated her like queen. She had so much fun and was super tired afterwards. The staff was really nice to me even tho I screwed up big time. You have really good employees.

Nur has been so awesome! I took my very anxious doggo to grooming with Nur at puptown girls and she is exceptionally patient, kind and skillfu with my dog. Very happy to finally have my dog groomed after years. Thank you Nur and Puptown girls!

We've been bringing our pup Louie to Puptown for about 2.5 years now and have nothing but the most positive experiences!

We feel incredibly lucky to have found a team that loves Louie like he's part of their family.

We've taken advantage of all the wonderful service provided including daily daycare, grooming and overnight boarding.

We love to see all the crazy fun hes having by following them on Instagram.

He comes home looking snazzy after each grooming session with a little bow or tie.

Alex who took Louie overnight also sent multiple updates, and we were reassured that he was well taken care of.

Nothing gets Louie's tail wagging more than when he sees Puptown Girls, because he knows he's headed to his favourite play place!

Well as it always is, trying a new place for anything is always a bit nerve wracking. When it comes to our pets, there an integral part of our family and day to day everything!

I dropped him off, happy, playfully wanting to see who's there to greet him, and picked him up just as happy and surprisingly not stressed out at all. He smells like he had a tour through bath and body works, coat is shining and his nails are perfect for a gentleman.

They did a fabulous job, staff was super friendly, looking fwd to bringing stinky in again!

Brought in my cocker spaniel about 10 days ago. Groom looked really good and we are happy with it. However, my dog came back with razor burn on his sanitary area and still had matts there. We kept a cone on him for over a week to keep him from licking the wound and then I had to bring him into pet smart to trim the rest of the sanitary area to remove the matts that were left. I hate leaving poor reviews but the whole experience has been quite disappointing. I understand things like razor burn cannot be helped sometimes, but I would have really appreciated the groomer coming out from the back to speak to me. They did not come out before or after the groom was finished to ask me any questions about the groom or let me know of anything that happened during the groom. Maybe not speaking to the groomer is normal at other places, but I have not experienced this before.

Assessment day is free and our dog had a ton of fun.interior is clean and staff are nice.will def be back!

We have been taking our rescue doodle here for a couple of years. We tried many places before finding Chloe at Puptown. Our boy is very shy and anxious, and Chloe's patience and compassion goes a long way with him. It's a world of difference on how he leaves his groom with her vs any other places we've tried. I rave about Puptown to anyone who will listen ️️ Big shoutout to Chloe!

Best daycare by far! Our pup Roacoe absolutely loves it here and is all loved by the staff! He's a super energetic pup but everyone loves his energy there. The staff are always so helpful and accommodating! Thank you for making roscoes daycare experiences always ones to remember!

This place is super cute, and the staff is amazing. My dog went in looking like a mutt and came out looking like a purebred.
They also have a great selection of locally made treats and snacks for your pup as well as raw food. Also a variety of harnesses and leashes and other stuff you may want or need for your pet. I believe it's all locally sourced.
If I could give a 100 stars i would 100%.
I will be a regular customer for life.

I dropped off Etch on Thursday September 8th. Normally my wife drops him off. The staff are great and post many pics on Instagram. Etch loves it there. Look forward to coming back LOTS!

I brought my 7m old puppy in for what was initially suppose to be a full groom on August 9, but after a pretty hurried discussion with the groomer, changed to just a bath and tidy. It was his second professional bath and tidy experience (first was not at Puptown). This time around at Puptown, only the bath was done and a bit of a trim around the eyes. No sanitary trim, pad trim, face trim and no nails were clipped, and no complete brush out since a few small mats were still present and when I picked him up he was covered in a lot of loose hair fluff: (

I wish the groomer or someone could have contacted me during the groom to say they were struggling or wouldn’t be able to do the entire service. To further this lack of communication, I wasn’t even contacted to pick up my little guy! I genuinely believed that they were just taking their time with him but after nearly 4hrs I caved in and called to follow-up and though staff was apologetic, saying they missed my name/contacting me, it doesn’t take away from the fact that he was just sitting there unnecessarily for almost 2hrs, and I felt super miserable about it.

When I came to pick him up, that’s when the desk staff dropped the bomb that basically no grooming besides the bath was done. They relayed that the groomer tried but he was yelling throughout everything. I was told maybe next time I should consider medicating him or alternatively booking an appointment with the owner, Juanita. I was then asked to pay for the full service, despite it not being even close to complete.

I paid the full amount with a tip for a service I am really not happy with because I didn’t want to make a fuss with other patrons around and I’d like to believe that deep down the groomer tried and gave 100% and it just might not be a good fit. I brought my pup to Puptown to try and support a local, small business nearby (also your insta page is super cute!) but regrettably, I did not leave the least bit satisfied. I left sad and distraught over the idea that my pup was so anxious this second time around, to the point where I wondered if he might be traumatized from all professional grooms there on out.

**Update: One of the owners did end up contacting me shortly after I had left this review. After some discussion with her about what had happened, including the lack of communication that day (despite the response above stating I was called multiple times-I was not, and having no vm option-untrue), as a gesture of goodwill, I received a sincere apology and a full refund, which was both kind and considerate.

Saw ads about this place everything so we decided to give it a try. This is closer to home, so we figured why not.

Through dropping off and picking up we somehow dealt with 5 different people who did not speak to each other as they kept going in and out of the back room and asking the same questions.

My dog has had full grooms and bath and tidy service at other places before with no issues.

We went with a bath and tidy as my dog has a shorter double coat. Puptown did not seem to do a sanitary trim, pad trim, or teeth brushing.

They called after 1.5 hours, which was longer than normal for a basic bath and tidy (most places take 1.5 hours with additional services such as paw trimming & hydration, Nagayu skin therapy, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, etc.)

Then they informed us that they cut into his quick and gave up on the remainder of his rear nails as he was terrified after that and was struggling. And they did not want to stress him out.

Was still charged full price for 65-75% of the service with no apology and just blamed my dog for being terrified after they made him bleed.

We are so glad we found this place. Our pup really disliked her first experience with daycare at another company. She was so distressed at drop off/pick up, we didn’t think she would ever be comfortable at any daycare. But she happily trots into puptown and the staff are so friendly and kind. It’s a relief to see how content our dog is going here.

Fresh upbeat atmosphere, happy, helpful groomers and all the staff is so friendly. It’s very clear Puptown loves the animals as much as we do.

Booking online is a breeze and even when I needed to change my appointment the staff was happy to work out a solution for me and my pup.

Harlems home away from home during the days. I feel safe bringing my 6lbs chihuahua here. And I love all the live stories they post to instragram so you can check in throughout the day.

I recently took my 8 month old puppy for his first grooming. He was very nervous but Sarah took her time and gave him lots of love. He came home looking beautiful but more importantly happy. Thank you Sarah! Everyone there genuinely loves dogs; their enthusiasm, care and patience is evident from the second you walk in the door.

Our little guy, Kopi loves Puptown girls! From it's friendly staff, boarding and grooming services and the awesome dog pack-he is always so excited to be dropped off here for daycare while we're at work. He comes home exhausted and ready to relax with us on the couch.
He had two weeks of boarding with Abigail and she was so amazing with taking care of our puppy and giving us updates while we were abroad.
He had his first full groom with Juanita and she was so attentive to what we wanted! She was wonderful with making him feel comfortable. We really appreciated that she called us for a follow up on the service. We will definitely come back to Juanita for his future grooming!

UPDATE: they got Leroy in again and fixed up his groom. Looking much better and I appreciate the follow up.

Tried this place after our old groomer moved. Not the best groom and didn’t do what I had asked for. Took my labradoodle in for a full groom; I asked for his face and beard to be taken in a lot …they didn’t at all. I had to ask for more again once I got there and they hastily cut a bit but it still wasn’t much…I had to do more at home. His eyes are also still pretty much covered in hair and I’ll have to cut it back in about a week.

His nails are still long and his feet have long hairs in the bottom…sanitary shave didn’t do much, still has hair all over groin and testicles. Overall I feel like I paid 130 dollars for a bath. I also would have liked to see him before being asked to pay and tip.

Maybe I should have been more clear, but I’ve never run into this problem at other groomers.

First time coming here and I'm definitely coming back! They did such a great job and are affordable!

I took my dogs here yesterday for grooming and they came out looking so cute and fluffy. They also smell like marshmallows. I’m glad to find a groomery where my puppy doesn’t bark or feel frightened when I leave her to get groomed. Thank you for doing a wonderful job. They really took the time to make both of my dogs look amazing. My adult dog was also comfortable to be touched on the face. Thank you for all the help with the grooming.

I've had SUCH a positive experience with the team at Puptown. Everyone treats your dog like their own, and it really makes you comfortable to leave your dog with them. Yesterday my little Dora was groomed and she came out looking amazing! Dora can be difficult to groom, especially when it comes to clipping her nails, but they said she did amazing, and it showed because her nails were nice and short. They carry such awesome products in the storefront, such as treats and jackets, my only complaint is that everything is so cute I want to spend all my money, haha. I'm beyond happy with Puptown, and plan to keep coming back!

My old lady (15yo) has never been a girl who went to daycare or even boarding (maybe twice in her life she was boarded). Taking her to Puptown girls has been the best experience. She goes in and does not act affraid or uncertain. She comes out happy and sleepy. She had a great experience with boarding, came home without any medical issues from stress (it has happened before sadly) which was a HUGE deal for me. I'm able to see and recieve updates on her whenever needed (I'ma helicopter mom and it was welcomed). I honestly feel safe and confident when leaving her with the wonderful staff at Puptown Girls. They are lovely caring people. Would highly recommend!

My partner and I take our dog Charlie here. We have only ever used one daycare but I did my research before choosing this one. The staff and owners are friendly and very knowledgeable. Any concern or questions I had they were able to answer right away. They always give us updates on Charlie's day as well as his behaviour. I feel like a mother making sure my child is getting along on the playground with the other kids.

Their pricing is great and reasonable. They are personable. They also have an instagram account with photos and videos daily so you can check in with your pup.

The best daycare I have come across so far. My pupper loves going to Puptown. He is always so tired and satisfied after a full day at the daycare. They are very responsive and accommodate in difficulty situations. My dog hates having his nails cut but they made it work and were able to cut his nails.

My dog absolutely loves her visits to Pumptown. The staff are very attentive to the dogs and know them all by name. They take great care in making sure all dogs are properly vaccinated and playing safely. Their facility is laid out well. Highly recommend them!

I used to go to the woof and it was amazing!
So the fact that it opened under a new name and the most Lively And kind owners it is the best of both worlds.
The staff there is very nice. With all the updates on there instagram I can keep an eye on what my dog does at all times.
Puptown Girls Dog Lounge & Spa is the place to be for dog daycare!

We decided to try out Puptown Girls for our dog as we had heard good things about it. My dog is always happy when he comes back from this daycare and seems to enjoy it. They have a dog groomer here and my dog got an amazing haircut from them. They sell lots of treats here that I buy regularly for my dog including their CBD treats which help with stress and anxiety the beef sticks are also a must to pick up for your dog. The staff and owners are super friendly and make us feel great when we leave our dog for the day in their care. I will be recommending them to all of my friends who own dogs.

Great daycare for my poodle cross and they have the most wonderful groomer. Doesn’t stink like most daycare centres and I found out they don’t let them wee all over inside like others do. Apparently they use these grass pads for the dogs to use. Seems they clean very well too. I recommend

We dropped off our Chihuahua and German Shepard at pup town girls for a few days while working in town and our experience was amazing. We dropped them off on a Monday and picked them up on a Wednesday. We got our work done, had a little fun in the city, with zero guilt for our dogs. They were very well taken care of and were happy to see us when we came to pick them up. We got a little update on how their time was together and the dogs were happy and satisfied. Thank you for giving us some freedom to explore the city and work, while taking care of our puppies! We ️ puptown girls and are so happy to have found you.

Puptown Girls took amazing care of my little pug. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere was very lively and comfortable. I would recommend Puptown to all my friends and family.

I previously brought my dog to the woof and the girls that worked there now work at Puptown Girls.they were all so wonderful with my dog who was a rescue and can be a bit skittish. I Went to the opening of this on the weekend and they renovated the whole place.it doesnt stink anymore and the lobby is modern with lots of retail.it was nice to see the back where the dogs go and the outdoor area.met the new owners and they seemed very nice as well.brought my dog in this morning and the check in was great, it smelled good and the reception was friendly.one thing i like about this location is the drop off is easy to access with the parking lot being on a side street.bonus they groom there too.

I am SO happy this location opened again! I was going to another daycare in the area after the woof closed but the parking was so difficult for me to drop my dog off- i hated reversing onto a busy road. I Brought my dog in for daycare and everything was wonderful. I was greeted warmly- the lobby was clean and my dog had a great time. I love that they posted videos to social media all day so i could see what my dog was getting up to.prices are reasonable and the best part was my dog didnt stink when i picked her up! I will be back- highly recommend

Love these guys! My morkie loves coming here for daycare. Super clean! They also carry CBD treats which I purchased- they were well priced and work great for my dogs separation anxiety. Bonus they open at 6: 30 am!
