I spent DAYS researching to find the best diamond engagement ring I could get for my money - every local jeweler and every mall store. Not only is Alexei super easy-going and approachable, but he managed to find me an extremely beautiful diamond, all with specs at the top end of the spectrum, but for an extremely low price (almost the price of a moissanite). I'm still somehow in disbelief at how he can manage this, but he was trustworthy and diligent the whole way through. It gave me the impression that he was looking for a diamond that he would have bought himself for a loved one. Trust his work and let him take care of the rest! You won't regret it. I'd easily go back to him again and will recommend my him to all my friends.

We had an incredible experience purchasing the ring from Alexei. From the moment we met him we knew he was very genuine and knowledgeable about diamonds. I was quite indecisive and he was able to walk me through the 4Cs and the two shapes I was struggling with to figure out what I really wanted. I came across Alexei and Pure Diamond while searching for a ring for my 10th anniversary!
Alexei was kind enough to schedule an appointment at the earliest and when we met him, he took his time to explain and educate us about the diamonds. I was so appreciative of his customer service that we decided to go ahead with him after meeting two other custom ring jewellers (big names) for whom we were just another clients.
He is super responsive and would text me back answering my queries almost at the same time or within a couple of hours.
From a pricing standpoint, he was pretty straightforward and provided us with a breakdown from the very beginning.

Alexei went above and beyond to source an amazing Diamond within our desired budget and carat and was still the most reasonable amongst the other two jewellers.
We had a few changes to the design at the rendering stage but he never complained and was happy to include the changes whenever I requested them.

I always do my research before I make any big purchase and cross compare with other jewelers in the area. What makes Alexei stood out above the rest? To start off he was not trying to hard sell me or pressure me into buying a diamond right away. Instead it was very informative session on diamond and what to look for in a diamond. Showing us spectrums of a high quality diamond vs a good quality diamond. I thought knowing the 4C was enough, but I walked out of the consultation learning more about diamonds than I had initially walked into.

Now another thing consumer all look for is the price tag. Most jeweller ask you right away what your budget is hoping to only sell you the diamond within that range so they can score a quick sale.
The problem with that is.the quality of diamond may be compromised to fit the budget. But Alexei was not like that at all.

I live in Toronto and my boyfriend surprised me with a pair of gorgeous and huge diamond earrings that he got through Alexei at Pure Diamond. He’s a management consultant so he does thorough pricing research for a living, and when I found out that he went as far as Vancouver for them I was surprised. Turns out he did the whole thing online - had a consultation and a follow up with the owner, received a secure fedex shipment, and at no obligation to buy - took it to the local gemologist to appraise. He then transferred the money to pure diamond and it was a done deal! The local Toronto appraisal of the value was even higher than the certificate that came with the earrings - if this is not objectivity - I don’t know what is! I love my new earrings so much and would recommend Pure Diamond to everyone - especially those living far away and a bit scared to deal with these types of things over long distance.

So I started shopping for an engagement ring about a month before I purchased from Pure Diamonds. I had little to no knowledge going in and after getting endless quotes and details and emails from multiple retailers and wholesalers I finally found someone that actually gave me no BS and surprises.
