By far the worst and most unreliable delivery company, time and time again. For the life of me I don't understand why anyone does business with them. Their "proof of delivery" is a blurry photo of my package at a random doorstep that doesn't even look like anything from my building. How they manage to deliver to the completely wrong address is beyond me.

Same as the other reviews, I ordered from Amazon and left Purolator specific instructions on how to get into the building (which they did not even attempt) as well as my number to call in case the instructions were unclear. Arrived home at 4: 45, Purolator left me a note at 5: 12 for missed delivery even though I was home and they didn't even attempt to ring the buzzer?

Around the same time FedEx delivered another package to my door just fine. Really makes me wonder if Purolator is even trying.

They don't want to deliver my tv because my road is partially closed on one side. My road is supposed to be closed all year. And they won't drop it at the post office. I have no idea when I will get my package.

Good service but need a bit more proactive ness when updating customer details. They don’t reflect up until a day later which gets the delivery cancelled/postponed for that day.

WORST SERVICE EVER! How can this company have the courage to call itselfs a delivery company? If you buy something that uses PUROLATOR, you can be SURE YOUR PACKAGE WILL NEVER BE DELIVERED. Had a package from them, told delivery guy I was going downstairs, delivery guy hung up and disappeared. Tried to schedule to pick my package up somewhere. Still waiting for the confirmation. Customer service just do not communicate with each other having a bunch of inconsistency information. HORRIBLE SERVICE. IF THERE WAS AN OPTION TO GIVE NEGATIVE STARTS I WOULD. THANK YOU

It's not a Package, It's not a promise, It;'s a ^$%#^%$ JOKE! Despite being easily accessible and only 10 minutes away from the Urban center of North Vancouver Purolater won't deliver to my area because there isn't enough demand. There are about 100 houses in my area. I pointed out there isn't any demand because they won't deliver! I was awaiting car parts and had disassembled my car to install them. Not only were the parts late as they passed the buck around, I had to rebuild my car and though it wasn't safe to drive, and drive it across town to pick up my package. Purolater doesn't care about you, or your package, They care about their own bottom line. It's not a promise, it's a bad joke! Pure ya later! (I only left a star because I had too).

This location is pretty convenient especially for those who live in downtown. This is ideal for dropping off packages. Staff is helpful too.

Staffs are nice and friendly. If client don’t have bag, they will give it free and tape it for clients. Good customer service.

I didn't want to leave the negative review but this is really horrible. I supposed to receive my parcel by December 29 but still haven't received. My parcel was picked up and in sort facility of our province in 28th (in my city) but suddenly status changed to weather delay even the weather was fine. And all of sudden, my parcel went to the another sort facility in different province. Besides, the estimate is keep changing everyday and now, it's saying Still Caculating. What are you guys doing with my parcel? It was in sort facility in our province at the first place but why did you send it to the different province? This is so annoying. It's not even first time happening.

My package was due to be delivered oct 6. Now october 12th. They say they have the wrong receiver address - i checked and it is correct. No delivery date being given. Absolutely unacceptable.

Usually only one employee working between returns and pick-ups so the wait can be long. Sadly Purolator will be getting much busier since Amazon is now only using them for returns and not Canada Post. The service is not particularly fast. More staff is needed. The store is clean and pre-paid drop offs are easy, once you get to the front of the line.

The funniest thing is that they left delivery notification near my door instead of parcel. Are you freaking serious? You got access to my building but instead of parcel I get a piece of paper and now I need to travel to them 30 min? WORST

Each time I come here after delivery wasn't really attempted I hope that my experience will be better than the last time. It never is. This morning I walk in to pickup a package with my son and there is no one at the desk. I assume that the "ding" when the door opens would alert the counter staff to a customer being inside. After another 2 min I ring the bell on the counter. After another minute an employee emerges from the back while staring at his phone, texting. He proceeds to spend another 30 seconds finishing his text while standing 10 ft from the counter. He still hasn't looked at us or acknowledged our presence. Customer service definitely isn't a priority, that is for sure. Seems some retraining is highly needed.

The staff is super rude. Refused to offer a receipt after receiving my return item. Never seen a worse service before. Then the amazon return system could not update my drop-off status now.

I learned a new meaning of customer service today, yay! I was treated impolitely while attempting to get a rough estimate of when my package will arrive!
Their delivery personnel don't even try to deliver the packages, and their customer service representatives don't even bother to respond to your inquiries.

Nice and quick service. The staff is super friendly.

If you return Amazon packages and it gives you a Purolator QR code…

Apparently this is the only location in Vancouver that takes this type of return.

All you need to do is use the machine at this location, scam QR and drop off label and the item, you’re done.

Requested a redelivery, for the same week, confirmed, then no, contacted their customer service probably 10 times in the past 2 weeks. They never seem to know when their product gets delivered, no timeline whatsoever. Every time I contact them they give me a different story. This company can’t be trusted, they don’t know what they are doing.
UPDATE 08/11/22 - meant to be redelivered today after countless phone calls. They left a « we’re sorry we missed you » note. When in fact I’m at home. No one pressed the buzzer nor called my phone. Well done Purolator.

The hours are ridiculous, the parking is ridiculous. I have a regular job and can NOT pick up my package because they are never open. I dislike Purolator and when I know they are the delivery company I will actually not buy the product.

I Riecieved an notification that my package was ready to be picked up. Arrived at location Agent did not have package I phoned customer service 20 min later agent on ph said package was at location. Returned to same store NO PACKAGE.

I'm always impressed with there swift services when I've come in and more so when I'm running behind that shipping my items out has NVR been any issues or problems and the staff are really kind polite and very personable. Definitely would refer to any of my friends, co workers ect.

I have been at home for three days waiting for a package from this absolute joke of a delivery company. I’ve called them several times to get a solid answer about when it will be delivered but all I get from them is “I can’t help, sorry”

I'm sorry to say this but this company is such a sadist who enjoy customers' pain and anger. 4 of my recent package shipped by this company got delayed in a row.
All the time, they chaged the status to "Delayed in transit due to natural disaster". Wow I didn't know BC and ON is the province of disaster. How come, every single time they ship, gets delay at least 2-3 weeks by natural disaster? - not talking about the period we had had flood and snow.

Funny thing is, when I checked the status of my current one, it showed, they udated 1: 57 p.m. However, the time I checked that status was 11: 42 a.m. Are you guys updating the status from the future? Please give me the lottery number can win the prize. I will understand and forgive your unresponsive and unprofessional actions.

This company is so lazy when it comes to delivering packages. It's ways "attempted" delivery or "incorrect address. " they don't even care to call, even though they have my full contact info and even my address (which is 100%correct right on the package its self and even with the buzz #) do you not know how to read? These are excuses and you know it. What are you guys even doing. I dont get it. Just pure lazy and pathetic.

P.s for the "response from owner" I already know what your going to reply with. But instead of replying maybe fix the problem, since your supposedly the owner that should take these reviews seriously and do somthing about this?

My review is only for people to read, to know that they aren't the only ones.
And if I gave you my tracking ID the problem probably won't be resolved, since you probably have a stack of others tracking ID already. So no point in wasting my time even more.

I already have all the contact info anyways.

Worst experience ever. The driver didn’t even try to deliver and left an online update as missed delivery. I canceled all my appointments that day expecting buzzer to call any minute. The website offers an option of editing delivery preferences but they claimed the didn’t see any update on the system tho it appeared on my end. Next day same story with the re-delivery.
Avoid using this service.

It has been several times that purolator just left a note for pickup without even try to buzz and call. What was ridiculous this time was that the concierge let the delivery guy in and the delivery guy left the note in our mailroom but NOT left the package to the concierge. I was waiting at home whole day Friday for this package and I have to pick it up on Monday because the delivery guy only had time to write a note but no time to left the package to the concierge or buzz or call. I wonder if they just go out for delivery without carrying the packages and only leave pickup notes so that their job would be much easier. Their clients’ time means nothing to them.

Someone needs to explain why a driver would get out of their truck and walk all the way to the door of our building to leave a notice instead of trying to deliver the parcel? I was home all day and there was no attempt to contact me or even ring the buzzer. Now I'm supposed to go all the way to Coal Harbour to get the parcel you were paid to deliver? It's not just lousy service, it's no service at all. I'd go so far as to call your operation a scam. Zero stars.

The delivery crew almost NEVER BUZZ. In the last 3 years (living in two different parts of Vancouver), I HAVE never received one single successful delivery from Purolator.

Should be NEGATIVE stars! Purolator is absolutely the worst courier I’ve dealt with! I don’t know how they’re even still in business. My package was supposed to arrive on Oct 22nd and it never arrived because I didn’t have a buzzer code. So I updated my buzzer code and was supposed to be delivered today on Nov 1st. But guess what! It said incorrect address! My address is correct and I bet the delivery driver didn’t even attempt to knock on my door or ring the buzzer! Ive had other packages arrive with no issue. It’s always Purolator that I have issues with. The customer service had the audacity to say that they don’t even try to look you up on the directory for buzzer code or leave a note cuz they’re so busy. Uhm other couriers do it? If you can’t even bother to properly delivery the package, please do us all a favor and shut down your business. Hopefully you guys go bankrupt, so this nightmare will end!

I hope I can give 0 star to this company, worst delivery service I have ever seen. I live at UBC but have to go 10 kilometers away to pick up my parcel. What a shame of this company. Why do you waste your time coming to my home and simply leave a delivery notice instead of my parcel? You also waste my time! This company should be punished for poor service

They are the worst. I have to cross the town to pick up my package. I am at home! They have my number but doesn't call. Canada Post, Fedex, UPS leaves the package in the lobby and try to call you before. Purolator just leave a notice and no way of contacting them. I hate them.

I was advised they attempted delivery yet I was home working all day. Then the tracking states next business day delivery yet the tracking is not updated on the next business day and now trying to find out where my urgent package is! Very unsatisfactory!

Obviously we are all following COVID protocols and the CSRs are too. Dropped by for a pickup and the facility was fairly desolate. Thought the Xmas season would be much busier. Felt bad for the lone individual on shift.hang in there. 2021 and vaccines are around the corner!

Every single time that my package is supposed to be delivered by Purlator, they take the package to one of their locations! Every single time! I only have this issue with this company, Never have I ever experienced a package being returned to a posting office with other delivering companies. Their online service is literally no good, and they don't pickup the phone. So? What are we supposed to do exactly? And aren't you getting paid to deliver stuff to people's houses?

They sent me a message that my package is ready for pickup, but when I arrived in a couple hours they said it's not ready and will be there later.

It goes w/o saying that the were unable to deliver to my apartment from Amazon, they just say that the address is wrong but all other delivery companies can deliver (and the address is right of course).

Worst delivery company, I haven't seen such a poor service anywhere in the world, and I lived in many countries.

Driver "attempted" delivery 5 times where they did not ring my buzzer or call the phone number I asked them to. Every time I call, no answer. Its been over two weeks for a 2 day shipment.

Had a similar experience where I was waiting for a package all day and they left an attempted delivery note without buzzing or calling to my number, when days before, I received 2 packages from Purolator right at my apt door with no issues. They sent it to this facility, which is far from my place, with office hours, making it extremely hard for me to go pick it up. (Not to mention that the package was huge and heavy to commute with, even by cab) I contacted them explaining the situation and requesting a redelivery. It took a couple of days, but I finally got my package at my door.

The people helping me were both polite and helpful, I just wish that (most) of the delivery guys didn't just leave a note clamming the receiver was unavailable, when there was no actual effort whatsoever to contact or notify that the package has arrived.

Agree with all other comments. I was home and the driver did not bother to buzz my apartment. I called to complain. They went back to my apartment when I was at work and I missed the buzzer. Now I have to go pick up my package from their downtown location during the Holidays. How convenient. Do not use Purolator. Also takes 45 minutes to speak to customer service when you call the general line.

Consistently the worst delivery company I've encountered.

From losing my package at this pickup location, to refusing to leave at my door after I've requested it, to not having an option for a redelivery, to only being open during work hours, to getting no notifications about my delivery until it's in this pickup centre.

Using this company defeats the purpose of having something delivered.

Business to Business- 15 days trying to contact them.
Chat does not work, the phone just auto hangs up.
Delivered to the wrong address, while the correct address was provided to them before they even supposedly got the package. I called and talked with an agent finally, and they say " yes- all is good" - what we found out later is that all is good- was only that way because their online and internal tracking systems are not working and are not syncing at all- DO not believe what you see on their tracking website.a time sensitive $2000 business product lost on the other side of the country- great delivery service.

I understand you've got your tasks for the rest of the day to do, but when I'm 15 feet from my door, I can hear if you've attempted delivery. Furthermore, your slip doesn't even say the date i can pick up my package; I can't even read your driver's handwriting!

Cant get through on the phone with them ever. Tried more than once, gave up after 40 mins on hold. Tried to schedule a redelivery of a package with their online robot assistant which claimed to have worked and gone through when in reality it didn’t work at all. Had to pick up my package at a location further from my home than another purolator location (why?) and they are not open late or on weekends making it nearly impossible for me to get there. Do not recommend.

Was helped by a really kind associate. It seemed like she was the only one working and there was a steady flow of people coming to pickup and drop off parcels. I’ve been here before, and would definitely not rate it 5 stars if it wasn’t for that associate.

Received a text saying my package was ready to be picked up. Went to the location 60 min later and found out the package had been shipped back 3 days prior as they had held it 5 days. Never received a delivery slip. Great stuff

They delayed my shipment due to weather at the Vancouver sorting facility for Vancouver delivery. It's 7 degrees celcius, dry, and no wind warnings. They're just dishonest.

They never attempt to deliverer the package. They just either throw at some random location or lose it. Business owners please don't use the Purolator, it is such a hassle for customers and we never want to buy from you again if you use Purolator, like seriously.

Horrible service, the worst! This company shouldn't exist.
I am expecting a parcel, they didn't bother to leave a slip or anything. Just keeps saying "the address needs to be updated", I updated it with the buzzer number via the chat service but still says the same thing every day.

Paid extra for Express Next Day Shipping. Now on the 5th day of waiting for a package that should have arrived days ago. Customer support keeps saying it will come the next day, but still no delivery.
