Lots of great udon and ramen options. Hits the spot when one is on a cold drive. It's a quaint spot. Haven't explored the menu but there are lots to choose from.

The food was okay, not great, not terrible. But the service was brutal. Single dishes coming out in random order, no side plates, never asked once how things were. Had to ask no less than 3 times to please let us pay a bill so we could go home. I could go on, but I won't. Never going back there again.

Service was good, but my wife didn’t care for her order; made her feel ill. The server refunded the dish and my wife ordered something else. While she didn’t feel like eating at that point, I enjoyed my meal and her’s later. Great service, but perhaps the review on the food is mixed.

Hidden gem in Golden. They carry high-end sushi at very reasonable price. Sashimi was fresh and salad was very tasty as well.

The service was absolutely impeccable, the food was delicious and freshly made and the place was clean and well attended. Prices were perfectly reasonable and I really enjoyed my dinner! I had pan fried gyoza, a spicy salmon and cucumber roll and the seaweed salad and I did not leave one crumb on any plate!

Tried the rice bowls, not too bad, or too good either. A bit pricey though, but it is a Japanese restaurant so there you go.

Interesting find on my way back from Banff to Vancouver. Just right by Highway 1 and the place is spacious and clean. Lots of Japanese and Korean food to choose for kids and adults. My son had miso soup, kappa rolls n chocolate mints ice cream, while we had ramen, beef don bowl and fried salmon roll. The fried salmon roll is really good and the portion is quite generous.

Large selection, very friendly service and cosy interior. Had sushi and the yakisoba special which were super tasty.

I had high hopes for this place but I was really disappointed, it’s super expensive and the food quantity was very small. My food consisted of cold, bland rice and watery chicken. If I’m in golden again I won’t be back.

Probably the freshest and most flavourful sushi. Would definitely recommend! Quite the variety as well- options I had never seen at other sushi spots.

Got sushi for takeout and the rolls were enormous! So tasty. Caterpillar roll was our favorite.

A lovely spot to step in for a meal while visiting, thought the service was a bit lacking, from the wait times to the lack of napkins. Otherwise a decent spot to eat

Great vegetarian friendly spot that has really good take out.

If you are tired of fast food and want reasonably priced, great portions and super tasty food try this spot out.

It was quick to order and within 15 mins I was out the door. The food is great. Remember, spicy means it will be spicy. My tofu appy even had sauce on the side so it stayed crisp. The Pad Thai was monster sized and sweat inducing but flavorful.:)

Finally the artwork by kids and travelers on the wall is second to none. Probably spent 10 mins checking it out.

All around a must stop when in Golden.

Pulled in to Golden for lunch and spotted this place but was a little dubious. The parking lot was empty and it looked closed. But I decided to take a chance. It was awesome! Food was absolutely delicious. I tried the Korean Pork Belly Kimchi and some sushi. Service was also pleasant and fast.

This is THE MOST horrible Asian food ever in my life. The most horrible dine in experience in Canada. The most horrible “Asian food” or food in my life.

Slow service, servers can't speakunderstand english well. They added $1 for spicy without making dish spicy. Really bad experience. Don't go unless you got no option.

Ramen looks and tastes like instant noddle, would not recommend. Udon noodles were way too sweet (teriyaki sauce in them felt cheap) Sashimi was good fresh, decent size cut. Sushi was more of a miss than a hit. Rainbow roll had unripe avocado but otherwise was OK and mango roll had unripe mango which ruined the whole experience. Suggestion to chef, when you know you do not have good ingredients either take the item of the menu for the day or advise customers and offer them different options.

Food was amazing, but service was brutal. Sat for over 10 mins before a sever came to take our order. Left without saying a word or actually taking our order. Came back 2 mins later and final got our order. Girlfriends meal showed up over 5 mins before mine, and not even my full order. Took another 10 mins to get the rest of my sushi. Then we sat there trying to get any attention of a server to get our bill for almost 15 mins. I gave up and went and asked a server for our bill and a to-go box.
Order take out and don't waste your time Iike we did. Great food thou, at least the cook takes pride in their work.

We were skeptical of ordering sushi in Golden but risked it and so glad we did. It was delicious!

Nice place at Golden, Quantity is good too however they forgot one of ours order and weren’t even sorry about that. But overall great place to dine and relax

The chef in here really knows what’s going on. I wouldn’t expect good sushi in a small town like golden but I was pretty impressed. Considering I live in Kelowna and have been to japan I’d say Qs Is absolutely satisfactory.

Unagi rolls were good.
Not sure why the teriyaki beef is dried up so much and the sauce itself needs alpt of work. Literally tastes like store bought bbq sauce with teriyaki flavor.

Wow just not even half amount of bool gogi was 21 dollars that was not compatible with any other restaurant I have been and even cup of green tea they charged $3 man is this really Korean?

We had lunch here. Food was amazingly fresh and delicious (great presentation too!) The staff was also great! Would definitely come back here again.

We stoped there for lunch as family on our way to Kelowna. I was hoping for good authentic korean food so we went in. Their food was ok as an so so kind. I would say simple home cook style of food. But what really made our family strugle was lack of professionalism and service. We are family of 6 and was served only 5 water, asked one more water which never got it. Also, serve naver came back and asked us if we need anything else nor how was the food.well we know for sure we won't be going back there and won't recommend to anyone.

My first review ever! Can we actually put an X Mark on the review? Like it wasn't really busy at all for them to forget my freaking order! The simplest order amo g the group, just the Unagi Roll that's it. Waited for so long, and so I went to the counter to check if it's ready, (my friends are halfway done with their meals) then I found out, yeah they forgot about my order. And told me to wait again, so I told them to just forget about it. Not even a "sorry". Yes, none.just wow haha. Good job guys!

As a person who regularly eats sushi in the Vancouver area, this restaurant in golden was excellent. Got some rolls and tempura and they were great.

Service was non existent, gomae bland and chewy, whole thing over priced. Miso and tea were decent but tea is $3. Would not go back.

All three dishes ordered were really good. Didn't expect Korean & Japanese food to be good at a small western town, but tastes very authentic and homey. Definitely worth going again!

"DO NOT EAT HERE" the sushi is tasteless. You can get better sushi from the grocery store. The dine in service is a disaster, staff argue and appetizers came out last. Over priced and sushi does not match the description.

Well there must be something good on the menu but what we had wantsn't our idea of tasty.try other things other then out three choices

"Fried chicken" Was not the worst.but wasn't good

"Phad Thai" edible but not Phad Thai, possibly spaghetti kimchi with mushrooms. Why is there mushrooms?

Really enjoyed the BC sushi- it had a decisive crunch. Also shared the Korean Half Ribs, which fit the korean style of food well. Recommended over the fast food alternatives nearby!

If I have an option of no star that should be my rate. We had a bad customer service experience here. First time coming here and due to the review and limited choices we came here for dinner. The service is very slow, we tried getting the server attention but she is not looking on our direction. We are so thirsty no one very came up to give us a drink or offer us a drink and even after we finished the meal.

We always eating at the restaurant and the drinks should always comes first?

The food is not that great either.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. The Asian server is choosing who she want to serve which is not right. I feel embarrassed as we have the same nationality.

I took back my My crab roll smelled horrible as if it was old took one bite out of it there's no way I was gonna eat it she argued with me I will never stop and eat there again

Best sushi I have probably ever had! Huge rolls with a lots of meat, had to order again & pick up on our way home because it was just that good. Highly recommend!

We love Korean food so we decided to try this restaurant given the good reviews. We ordered the Japanese style ramen, Korean short ribs and Yaki-Udon. Unfortunately, it was a big disappointment! The short ribs is as far from the beloved Korean bbq as it can be; they for sure didn’t taste like they were grilled, but as if they were prepared in a stew. The Japanese style, as another reviewer said, looked like it was cooked from instant noodles; everything in it (noodles and vegetables were too overcooked and my husband ended up not eating any it). Finally, the Yaki-udon was also overcooked and the sauce tasted like a packaged sauce and without much seasoning; the shrimps in it were overcooked and were not clean (you can see the black line in the picture). We found it extremely overpriced for the quality (we paid $63 for the three dishes). We don’t recommend and will not come back.

Great place. Honestly, this place looks a little sketchy since you’re buying raw fish on the side of the highway, but this is THE BEST SUSHI I HAVE EVER HAD.

This has to be the most terrible Asian food ever. The food is over cooked, flavorless, badly prepared.the Korean short ribs ($30) is a shame and the Japanese Ramen worst ever. Not worth more words to this review. All this for $63 plus tip.

The best resturant in Golden. I love this place and My favorite dish is Korean fried chicken. I can eat this dish everyday?

The sushi was pretty good, but definitely pricey. We waited an hour for our food, and never got individual plates, and didn't get any water until our food came.

"Special Pad Thai" they call it. Should be called Special chow mein, as it's made with egg noodles and no way does resemble a Pad Thai dish. Was expecting vermicelli noodles in peanut sauce but got a regular food court quality chow mein. Just plain deception.

Pleasantly surprised! Food was really fresh and amazing! Got a little snack, which was salmon nigiri, kimchi & pork kyoza, and dynamite roll, and it was really good! I'll stop by again for sure! Service was very quick, too!

Rather disappointing for the price. Very small pieces of sashimi. Unfortunately they also did not get our pick up order correct. Maki Rolls were bland.

We just stopped by to get something to eat before we proceed on our way to the Fraser Valley. It's not the best sushi place but the nice staff made the experience amazing.

The food presentation and taste was great. Price is reasonable. Ambiance needs a little work but otherwise, highly recommend this place. Will definitely consider this again as a pitstop for lunch.

I will NEVER return here. I ordered Korean BBQ Short ribs for lunch. Pricey enough, between rice, vegetables and meat the meal was filling but tasteless/flavorless, only sweet. So (very politely) I asked for black pepper or hot sauce. They brought me both, literally a spoonful of hot sauce in a tiny cup. When to pay, on my bill they charged me an extra 75 cents for "A SIDE of hot sauce". Paid it all, didn't question it but WILL NEVER RETURN.
