Our Strata has terminated our contract with Quay Pacific after ten years. This only happens because they are so terrible that the owners chose to get together and vote them out unanimously. Years of ignoring emails and our concerns, while raising their cost of everything again and again made this decision so easy.
Oh and did I mention they also changed our property manager all the time. A revolving door of people who just take your money and ignore you. We actually had a property manager who ignored us for almost an entire year, and after every complaint possible, they finally fired him.
Best of luck to anyone who uses this company.
Read the negative reviews.they're all based around being ignored. Could not be more true.

If you are looking for a property management company to take your money and give you nothing in return, then I would suggest Quay Pacific!
Extremely poor management, horrible and unprofessional communication (if youre even able to receive any)
The only time they even pretend to act like a company is when something comes up where money owing to them is involved, they could care less about your issues pertaining to the money out of YOUR pocket for there services.
As a management company it is their job to ensure that people are getting their moneys worth for the services they are paying for. This is not the case with quay pacific. From my personal experience, I overpaid in person for a special levy and they said that the excess would be taken off my next strata payment. No deduction was made, not to my surprise and ontop of that I asked about landscape maintenance as my yard looks absolutely disgusting not only for me but for the new owners that are buying my property. Just an absolute disgrace that they can’t help you out in anyway other than act like a collection corpartjom for their benefit. The reviews speak for themselves, they literally have someone on staff to reply to all 1 star reviews and then again try to re-direct the question.

They reply very quick and friendly. Nice work. Thank you Alona!
Appreciated your help very much

No hot water, countless break ins with now follow up, doors/ intercom always messing up, common areas are filthy. Easily the least organized property management outfit I’ve seen.

Our property manager Chad Hunter will not return emails or phone calls. Complete disregard for the people he is suppose to work for. We paid to get trim painted and they removed a board from my deck and didnt repair it properly. No answer to emails. We have a gutter thats not fastened. 2 weeks now, no response. Someone needs to make this right and reach out to us. We live in Uptown Clayton heights.

Our condo strata works with Dave Bring from Quay Pacific property management. He's very responsive and is quick to answer phone calls and respond to my emails. We've had some unique situations and it has been great to be able to call on him to get the contractors to be present and timely with their work at our building. Dave works alongside his assistant Alona who is also very responsive in getting out group emails and finding all the info that I need from day to day.
I'm fairly new to the role of president on our council and it has been great to be able to rely on Dave's professionalism and advice on the many situations that arise.
I'm very happy with Dave and the support staff from QPPM, they make my job so much easier!

Not worthy of a rating. I emailed the Property Manager last week and they didn’t bother to acknowledge me, don’t waste your time with this company.lazy employees

A big shoutout to Dave Bring for being extremely helpful. I bought my first home and first time being in a stratified property. Dave has been super kind provided great information, and quick to respond. Most importantly he took priority of helping me with a request I had and with his help it removed a lot of stress and anxiety off my mind. A shoutout to Alona as well for being quick with paper work:)

Thank you both!

Not long after we moved into our new home in Fleetwood, we discovered that some of our plumbing, electrical wiring, sockets, and stove were technically flawed, making them inconvenient to use. With the mentality of giving it a try, we contacted our property management company, Quay Pacific Property Management Ltd, for their help. We browsed some online reviews of this company and thought it would be a long wait. But actually, in less than 24 hours, Mr. Dave Bring from QPPM replied to us. Although he gave us some definitions of responsibilities for the maintenance items we proposed in the letter and also made us aware that most of the maintenance items I mentioned inside of the owner's house did not belong to the management scope of the property management company. After telling me which BUILDER I should contact to solve the problem, I also told us that he would also contact the builder and urge them to help solve it. We understood his promise at the time as a courtesy but we didn't expect that soon, the builder came to the door in time according to the time limit mentioned to us by Mr. Bring. And the technical flaws we mentioned were completely resolved within the next few days, which greatly facilitated our daily life in this new house. After that, we contacted Mr. Bring for guidance and help for other reasons, and he responded even faster, replying almost a few hours after we sent the letter, and giving us detailed guidance and help. Our series of experiences have given us a very positive view of whether it is QPPM or Mr. Bring's responsible attitude towards clients and their ability to solve problems. We feel very fortunate to live in such a place served by passionate professionals like Mr. Bring who has such an attitude of serving customers in such a pleasant way.

Dave has been our strata manager since May. And needless to say he was kind of thrown into it very last minute. He stepped up to the plate with great ease. And we have been very happy working along side him. He is very professional and personable which gives us confidence as council to know things are getting done. It is a pleasure to work with him and hope for many years to come!

Our current experience with Quay Pacific and PM, Dave Bring, is very positive. We feel our past issues were listened to and resolved. Our PM is organized, meets deadlines and responds to correspondence quickly. He is almost always available by phone and returns calls quickly if he is not. He contacts our vendors when necessary and is on top of our maintenance schedule and finances. Management has also been very helpful when dealing with difficult situations. Overall, we are now very pleased with the level of service we are receiving from Quay Pacific.

Edit: Once in the facility, I can confirm it is the norm. Unresponsive, confrontational, and completely uninterested in putting forward our questions/concerns. Willing to try to twist/intentionally misconstrue the Strata Property Act. Avoid this management group.

As a prospective buyer, I was trying to ask the property manager some questions about the facility. Very general, about the entire complex, not about a specific unit. However they were absolutely unwilling to help.

I hope this isn't the norm. We're questioning our entire purchase decision because we don't want this to happen if or when we decide to move.

Quite possibly the worst property management companies out there.
Chad has been managing our complex for some years and the service and attention has progressively gotten worse. He has turned out strata council into a proverbial boys club, blueing the lines between business and personal. The follow up for property issues get missed or ignored, chummy council members past and present tend to slip through the cracks if they ignore bylaws and any attempt to follow up with rule breakers in our complex get pushed aside. A few have taken this issue above Chad's head but they have also been ignored.
If you're looking for a property mgr, you best look elsewhere.

The worst property management company I've ever dealt with. Reported a problem on our backyard in December, Mary didn't replied. We sent email, left message on her voice mail, left messsage with her assistant, but never heard back from her. Never be able to talk to her, because she worked from home. So happy that finally our strata council decided to change the strata management company. Sray away from this company. When this company took over premier, it goes from bad to worse.

We moved to a townhouse (Ashbury & Oak) that is managed by Quay Pacific 7 months ago. The strata manager at the time was the worst to deal with as he would reply to an email two weeks later with irrelevant answers, never return calls etc. I was getting frustrated and was wondering why I needed to pay $280+ every month.
But Dave Bring took over as the new Sr Strata Manager a few months ago and everything has changed since then.
Instead of taking two weeks to reply to an email without a resolution, Dave replies back on the day of or the next business day with a resolution.
If an issue cannot be resolved right away, he follows up later when the issue is resolved.
Just this morning, I had a question to ask and called him but reached his voicemail. I sent him a message and he called me back two hours after and resolved my issue on the spot.
Dave is very professional and responsive.
Koodos to Quay Pacific PM for having Dave on their team.

Do not do repairs in a timely manner, tell you repairs are non of strata's concern when windows are leaking and gutters are overflowing. They do not bridge the gap between the owners group and strata, they also as stated in other comments refuse to provide financial statements. False statements made by strata, to Surrey bi law when no complaints to the owners were issued about the subject to the owners prior. Not reputable period.

I have been working with our current property manager Deana Sakawsky for awhile now. She had been professional in all our dealings and has responded in a timely fashion. Previously we did experience no reply to our emails but since Deana has taken over our strata complex we have been happy. Keep up the good work.
13 July 2021 18:23
I've had the pleasure of working with Quay Pacific - Jeff Sandison, in particular- and it has been exceptional. He has demonstrated multiple times his strong worth ethic, problem-solving abilities, knowledge and dedication to the tasks at hand. I would strongly recommend working with the company and Jeff.

Kendall is the assistant to our strata agent, Chad. I reserve the clubhouse at our complex often and have to do so through Kendall, who is always quick to respond and pleasant to deal with. It is a pleasure to work with her!

Wow, My property manager Danny Samson was so unprofessional that's I had remind him about professionalism. An example of this is I trying to get another key fob for my unit and emailed him in 2018 fast forward to 2020 (yes, 2 years to get a key fob) and finally get the fob but Danny try to make me pay an extra $100 strata penalty that I later found out wasn't even required. Lucky for me my onsite manager was honesty and respectful.
09 July 2021 10:17
We have worked with Jeff Sandison for several years on LED lighting and EV charging projects. Jeff is focussed on providing the best value and service to his customers. He clearly cares about the buildings that he manages and the people in them.
08 July 2021 3:31
I have just moved into a strata managed my Quay Pacific and have found the management team extremely easy to deal with and always willing to help. I moved from out of the country and it was a stressful relocation. Quay Pacific was one area that did not add any stress. Thank you to all of the team.
03 July 2021 19:18
Quay Pacific has a great team of property managers and office staff.

Working with Geoffrey Rosen, Jeff Sandison, Calvin Ma, Tiit Pikksalu and others over the years have shown the Quay team has great knowledge and are very responsive to manage all their properties at a high standard.

Horrible services!
Chad Hutter, strata agent is really unprofessional. What ever he receives letter complaints, he gives fines, never investigates.
I recently received letter of parkage cleaning letter scheduled on next Thursday which is a week notice. However, my tenants have been stucked out of country and I email them back that I can not remove their cars in parking. Strata Agent noted that the vehicles will be towed away.
During this pandemic, thousands people have locked away from their homes and what Chad said is not human sense.
This is not good management company!
27 June 2021 20:10
You love to raise our strata fee not little but 50% or higher yearly. Poor customer service, and the manager who assigned for our complex doesn’t respond to our email and sent us incomplete AGM meeting documents.
You come up with half of million dollars repairs cost for new townhouse. Unbelievable!
22 June 2021 6:52
I’m glad we have made the change to Quay Pacific. David Bring is knowledgeable and communicates difficult subjects in an easily understandable way!

Absolutely terrible, unresponsive.

They pretty much used covid-19 as an excuse to keep collecting payment but stop doing anything. They keep citing health concerns but their business is to manage people's homes and they don't seem to understand that people still have to live in their homes even when there is a pandemic.

They've handled the whole situation horribly.property manager here Danny Samson doesn't return emails half the time and even when he does doesn't completely read them. Both them in the strata have actually been legally negligent in dealing with the issues with my property.

I have had the pleasure of working with Kendall Boone on many instances for more than two years. She promptly provides assistance in answering strata-related questions even when these required extra effort and diplomacy to resolve the inquiry. At all times, Kendall was there for me with courtesy and willingness. She is a joy to work with and I always look forward to speaking with her. Her tact and consideration can be relied upon on all occasions.

As a realtor I deal with a ton of property management companies in the lower mainland and typically it’s a lack lustre experience, but Jeff from Quay Pacific always goes above and beyond! He is responsive by email, he is more knowledgeable then most with a ton of experience and he is professional. The quality of care at Quay pacific shows in employees like Jeff, I wish every manager was this great to deal with!
17 September 2020 17:54
Worked with Jeff Sandison and it’s been a pleasure working with someone who’s transparent and responsive when needed. Very helpful and knowledgeable person which is incredibly hard find. Hope to work more with Jeff in the future.

Dedicated and knowledgeable property managers with excellent communication skills toward highly effective and professional property management services.

As a Realtor it is rare to find a property manager who both returns calls promptly and is a pleasure to deal with. Chad Hutter just blew me away with his promptness and great attitude. I don't write many reviews, but I had to today!

Always a pleasure working with Jeff Sandison.
We depend Upon professionalism and communication here at ServiceMaster and we get nothing but the best from him.

Kendall Boone is the assistant to our property manager Chad Hunter. She is incredibly professional, calm and kind in her nature and gets all tasks completed in a timely manner. In being new to strata Kendall has provided me with the room to ask any questions as needed. A true pleasure to work with!
28 August 2020 15:23
Great experience with Kendall! She is amazing! Anything I need she makes it in her best interest to make that happen and responds to emails as best she can. Talked to her a few times on the phone and is so nice and professional. Definitely gets the job done! Thank you Kendall! Chad is also a great person to talk to as well. Both very helpful. Great team:)

This team has great communication and were more than helpful in getting my questions answers and being transparent. I am first time home owner and Jeff and Calvin were lovely to connect with.
23 August 2020 11:00
Kendall is always willing to quickly address any task I have asked of her. The whole team at Quay Pacific continues to be supportive and professional.
19 August 2020 13:08
Jeff Sandison is the Property Manager responsible for our strata. Ours is not an easy place to live. We are in an old building with a lot of structural problems and we also have a neighborhood wherein many neighbours do not get along. Jeff is instrumental is assisting our Council to stay safe, deal with conflict, and progress through the various, often trying, ongoing issues. Jeff is professional and ethical, friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. We’re lucky to have him.
19 August 2020 3:39
I deal with Kendall Boone, the assistant to our property manager, Chad Hutter, quite frequently, due to my role on our strata council and as the amenity room coordinator at our townhouse complex. In all my dealings with her and the very many emails we have gone back and forth on, she has always been professional, accommodating, and very responsive. I really have appreciated her support there last couple years and it's been a pleasure working with her.
18 August 2020 4:49
I have had the pleasure to work with Leslie over the past 10 years or so as our Property Manager. Not only is she very personable but she is very knowledgable, quick to respond, readily available and listens to problems and give our Council proper and reasonable guidance. It is a real pleasure to work with someone that is dependable, easy to talk with and know she is giving honest advice.
17 August 2020 9:38
Quay Pacific has a great management team.
Jeff Sandison and the other managers are prompt to email responses, and very professional! Always a pleasure to deal with.
16 August 2020 6:04
Google should think about 0-star review, 1 is too many for this Quay Pacific. I know those who gave 5-star reviews are paid and/or are relatives. I'm one of the owners at Langley Village, and these guys never reply to emails (but they want you to reply to theirs), never answer phone calls (you can only speak to receptionist who will transfer you to nowhere i.e leave a voice mail and no human being will listen or call you back) … If they didn't have an office I would think they are scammers. Who is the Head of this Company? I mean the person in charge, who takes decisions?
15 August 2020 14:27
Both Kendall Boone and Chad Hutter have done a great job in answering my questions and getting back to me in a timely matter. Quay Pacific has been very good with all interactions and Kendall has been so pleasing to deal with very accommodating.
03 August 2020 0:27
Quay Pacific manages our complex in Surrey. Miguel Vivanco is a professional and experienced strata manager and his experience in the building trade comes in handy when issues arise. Communication, experience, and knowledge are essential qualities in a strata property manager and go a long way to ensure our complex is well serviced.
29 July 2020 12:35
The manager assign for our property very unprofessional. Tried to contact since long did not respond. Tried to send email and left voicemail not connected. Worse customer care and do not care of the home owners. Have no idea how this management operate with this kind of attitude.
23 July 2020 6:41
Jeff Sandison has done an excellent job navigating some very complicated Strata issues. Jeff is always helpful and quick with his informative responses.
12 July 2019 16:17
I have no idea what these people could offer strata, except maybe how to keep fees low in a building largely occupied by renters.

As one of those renters, I've seen the condition of this 10 year old building go from excellent to reasonable to slum.

When Premier took over they immediately fired the janitors, and have yet to replace them. Occasionally I see the building manager sweep the carpets (seriously), but that's it. Stains have become health hazards, and I'm now exploring how to report to health authorities, as more than once I've found dog poop, vomit, spit, rotten food that weren't cleaned for days.

The rental market in metro Vancouver is sad, and companies like Premier should be exposed. What a tragic company - owners and strata responsible for keeping these people in business should be ashamed.
29 March 2019 22:39
Stay as far away as possible. Look for someone else. And for the Stratas that still pay for Premier (mis) management services - wake up! There are better property management companies out there.
High staff turn over. No transition in place from old to new staff. No back up for when strata agents are off and then they come back to hundreds of e-mails and can never catch up. Commission only agents that are forced to take on more properties they can possibly handle. Management has buried their heads in the sand and refuse to take action.
The sad part is that it used to be an OK management company years ago.

Update: Premier was acquired by Quay Pacific which is a fairly decent management company. It doesn't affect me personally, as we luckily parted ways with Premier and moved to QP years ago.
And what is with all the fake positive reviews? !
