Quesada Burritos & Tacos

Shame on anyone who didn't rate this place 5 stars. I got a spicy chicken and tofu burrito, then you get black beans, refried beans, brown rice, then their sauces, and any vegetable you get like a 2lb burrito for under 13$ tasted amazing and staff were great, it's my new fav spot!

B.cereus is a food poisoning bacteria found on uncooked rice. Not only is eating crunchy, half cooked rice really disgusting, its a health hazard. I phoned and explained the problem (I know mistakes happen and I just wanted the money for my $25 burrito back). I was told they would phone me back. Okay. I never got a call back. I phoned back the next day and left a voicemail with my order number name phone etc. Still nothing. That was a week ago. Please dont eat here. Not only will the food suck but it could make you sick and then they will avoid you like the plague they just tried feeding you.

Very disappointing. Not sure how they were able to sap their ingredients of all flavor, but they somehow managed to make “Mexican food” taste like something you’d get at a middle American church pot-luck.
Steer clear.

Alright, staff are nice and put together a nice burrito.

But they almost never have the Mexican street slaw, it's disappointing as its one of the main reasons that I choose Quesada.

Every time I eat here, I'm disappointed. Hardly authentic and mostly frozen food with little taste. The owner is no better and the staff do not care. Also, who tf puts ground meat in a burrito? I'd rather eat at taco time for less money spent.

After this place has new management, their staffs need to be trained more. The new Asian staff had unprofessional behavior and working skills. The way he had packed up the food or the way he took orders were unacceptable. Briefly, don’t recommend this restaurant.

I had a pleasant experience here on a Day trip to Victoria! Great quesadillas and burritos! Reasonably priced and the person at the counter was patient with our orders!

It was pretty good but not as good as mucho burrito. The main issue I had is I love mucho's burrito sauce. The sauce selections are very limited at Quesa. Otherwise, the food, add ons and price was good I thought. Very friendly staff.

Good cheap burrito, actually would be one of the better options for lunch downtown if it werent for 3 of the last 4 times ive tried eating one of their burritos ive crunched into. I think its very small pieces of rock? Crunches like rock. Looks like rock. Pretty sure its rock.

Just like a Chipotle or taco del Mar type of place, sauces were tasty as well as the meat so if you want something quick, this a good place to go

Despite low ratings, I decided to try their burrito and it was honestly the best burrito i had in a while! Great price, generous portions! Definitely worth a try

Bit pricey I think wish had sweet deals but what can I say its still one top spot I like my taco, wraps ect. Need more room for out side seating tho ‍️‍?

Other than the churros food was fresh and good for a decent price. Our server was very helpful. Churros were hard think they sat out too long.

Took two veggie bowls. Quantity was sufficient but taste was just ok. Personally, I found Chipotle to be better

I've ordered food from Quesada a few times and it was consistently good; until today. I ordered a large burrito bowl for pick up, and should have checked the order before leaving. When I got home I noticed that the container was barely full. There was a very thin layer of rice and a lot of sauce; what I ended up with was a cold burrito soup that was not satisfying. For a meal that cost me $18.50, it should have been full. I feel pretty ripped off.

This place is so underrated. They're maybe a little bit pricey, yes, but the food is fresh and so delicious and their ingredients are interesting (they offer more toppings than just your average boring raw vegetables - love their pickled onions). Plus, their portions are quite big. I have never left this place less than stuffed, even if I get a burrito in the smallest size. And the largest size basically lasts me for two meals. Love their food.

Amazing food. We order from here regularly through Skip the Dishes and are stuffed and happy every time. The shredded beef burrito is my favourite by far.

I had the fish burrito. OMG it was good especially with the guacamole. Service was great, staff were real friendly. A great quick supper and very filling. Plus that Naked mango smoothie was out of this world. If you count calories look as it as the score.

Everything is fresh. Plus there are vegan options for the health concious. Thats a plus in my book.

Excellent food for under $10.00, thank you MobiMaps / Experience Magazine for the great suggestion & Experience. This is my second meal at Quesada Burrittos & Tacos, will be back forsure! JP

The long haired gentleman was a service professional. Looks nasty be deceiving, he makes a mean burrito with a lot of love!

Amazing subway style build your own burrito. Fresh flavors, nice ingredients. Super good prices and lots of options.

The quality is very inconsistent. Sometimes they make my favourite burritoes in the city, but that only happens half the time. The other half, they're not enjoyable at all.

Really good, the food and service were really great, so much better than what my wife and I thought it would be.
The tacos and the margaritas were some of the best we have had this side of Mexico!

I had a spicy chicken burrito. The service was fast, and the taste of the ingredients was very good. I ordered the Large size and it had to weigh at least a pound, definitely worth the $11.

They make VERY tasty Burrito's, not just a whole bunch of rice and beans like most other places. Great selection of original sauces that aren't you typical ones. Employees seem happy and to eat the food themselves, so that always a good sign. My only complaint is the guacolmole serving could be more generous.

I am always pleased with my purchases. Staff are friendly, seem genuinely nice, and are quite efficient in my experiences here to date.

Well, in addition to being overpriced for what you get, I bit into a decent sized chicken bone.

Won't be ordering from them again, still haven't heard back from management.

Quesada is a decent mexican place I like that its like the Subway of mexican food, you can add and put whatever you want in your burrito/taco and its alot of food for the price! I would go to Quesada all the time for lunch its quick and filling gets the job done. Though i Wish Victoria WOULD JUST GET A TACO BELL!

I've always managed to find stones/sand (?) and a friend of mine found a shard of glass in her burrito as well. It was a good place a year ago. Not so much anymore. Gave it a shot today after a few months, hoping things have changed. Nope.

The food was made from fresh ingredients and arrived hot and quick. The main problem was the beyond meat soft tacos we ordered for my 8 year old. They were way too spicy for a child. There was nothing to indicate that they would be hot at all and they were on par with a medium salsa.

Eaten here twice in the past few weeks and it really scratches the itch for good cheep texmex. Big tasty portions for a low price is hard to scoff at!

About as good as Mucho Burrito but an excellent promotion got me in. Free burrito? Yes, please. Had the chili-lime fish. Neither the chili nor the lime came through the plethora of fillings but it was quite satisfying. More inclined to go than before.

Update 2019: New Management and im a regular again. I now get my half black beans half refried every time and no one bats an eyelid. Same tasty quality ingredients but with great customer service and smiling faces every time. The new owner is young, smart and all about recognizing regulars and making you feel like you are a friend.well done guys - hope business picks up again!

Looked like a chain but i walked in and was surprised to find the food very tasty and fresh. So heres the thing.i am the kind of person that finds a lunch time quick value and convenient place for healthy food and goes there everyday. After nearly 10 consecutive visits the manager still stares at me un-welcomingly and is probably the gloomiest guy out there.frankly Im there for the food anyway but now three times he has been uber stingy on the request for half black beans and half refried.im not even asking for more of anything so maybe he is scared I may get away with 1/2 tsp more refriend as it isnt in the premeasured scoop?

Anyway its trivial but for someone thats there every day and pays the extra guacamole and selects the most expensive item this just left a bad taste in my mouth along with the customer service from the guy in charge. The other staff seem lovely and always fine with the half half bean & refried order. Anyway they just lost a customer and nearly 2K a year in takings from me.sorry about the whinge above.if you can get past Mr Gloomy and you are ok with the sometimes miserly portion then the food was quite tasty but not unique.

The new managment is awesome! Sam the owner is a super frienly guy. Great burritos too! I hope they keep the ancho braised tofu around permanently!

To be fair the food is not exceptional, but the service is fast and very friendly! Food is more like 3 star, service is 5 star:)

Amazing burritos and amazing service. The new owner Sam personally came into our facility to talk about the menu and introduce himself. Finally had a chance to check out the location and was not disappointed. Super clean and tons of vegan options. Will be back.

Great food and service:) Yes, the old manager was an angry guy and I always felt bad for the staff. But went in today and the new Manager Sam was welcoming and very nice - food was yummy and the atmosphere was happier:) They are probably in for an uphill battle because of previous bad reviews - but give them a chance again - grumpy guy is gone!

The ten inch burrito is super affordable and the new manager seems like a real sweetheart. I was politely walked through the burrito making process and enjoyed the positive vibe.

I went in to try their food (delicious) and ask about their catering for a party. The staff was extremely helpful and explained everything thoroughly. I'm looking forward to more visits!
