If it is quality that you seek, this place delivers. Raj is transparent and doesn't disappoint. Although pricey, it is worth the cost for such superb craftsmanship.

I went to Quiet Muffler and Brake for custom dual exhaust about a month ago Raj made a masterpiece for me I couldn't be happier lots of hangers it is very solid he painted the whole thing. Kept me updated on progress and sent pictures made me come back for a leak test a week later great experience. A bad accident happened out front while my truck was there but he stayed late to make sure I got my truck back for work even though he had to deal with police and insurance because the accident came onto his lot and damaged two of his cars really went the extra mile for me he even toped up my oil and coolant even though I was just there for exhaust if you need exhaust or repairs don't hesitate great shop!

Called Raj in early afternoon, told him my 95 grand cherokee needed a muffler. He told me he would get it done same day. Raj stayed til the job was done. He waited there for me to pick it up and gave me a wicked price. High quality work and he went above and beyond. Highly reccomend.

Had a custom exhaust done on my 98 Mustang, They went above and beyond what most shops would do. I couldn't be happier with the results. I used them years ago for my 86 gt and I'll continue to use them in the future.

This Muffler shop gets my top vote. Went in for an assessment on my noisy, leaking exhaust and within few minutes it was diagnosed. Later, it was fixed. I thought the vehicle had stalled, it went so quiet so quickly. These guys are flat out, straight up the real deal. I know I was blessed with such an easy repair, and that that isnt necessarily always the case, but they didnt try to wring me for an unfair bill. Just fixed it quickly and efficiently. Thanks so much. You have my future business and my recommendation to friends.

They had me in there in 15 minutes and out in less then an hour and a half. I could see how they put good craftsmanship into making a perfect fit and the welds are top notch. Gill and Tim did an amazing job for a very good price.fast, well priced, quality work. (not often an easy combo to find)

The guy was nice on the phone. At $100/hr it's not bad. Hence why they can't get you for a week or so, lol

WATCH QUIET MUFFLERS PRICES. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!
I went to Quiet Muffler due to spark plugs and coils. They charged me 26 dollars per spark plug.the spark plugs cost 16 dollars.they charge me one hour service for a job that took me and a friend in a wheelchair to do in 15 mins.
The final cost was 468.48 for a 15 minuet job.
They charged me 99 dollars per coil which would have been 500 dollars had I not known better.
I went to Burnaby Auto parts and bought four coils for 201.60 dollars and sixty cents.
With the help on a friend who is a mechanic.who is now in a wheel chair due to a stroke.the four coils were installed in 15 mins.four coils cost me 201.60 instead of 500 just for the coils.
I know they need to make a profit.
Yet, when double the price of the parts you rip off the customer.
I will never give Quiet Muffler my time nor money again!

Some of these reviews are older and may not reflect the work done by Raj and crew. Had some exhaust work done to my vehicle at a great price and even better service. Go and see Raj, but I will warn that they get quite busy and weren't answering their phone. Expect to wait as many people know about this not-so-hidden gem!

Side note: I went to another "muffler" shop on Kingsway and received a quotation more than $100 over what Raj offered. Can't beat Quiet Muffler and Brake for value and craftsmanship.

I brought in my BMW M6 on a quick notice with no prior contact. Within minutes of arrival Raj came to my attention and did everything he could to help me out. He diagnosed the problem and was transparent throughout the whole process. He made me feel like I was apart of the community and will come back for all my spontaneous needs! Thanks bro

These guy have been great. I remember going here many years ago and I think it's under new ownership now, but they still give the same great service I remember.

Sun roof stuck open needed quick fix due to weather and work. Got it closed in 5 mins free of charge! Super friendly will be coming back for any break work in the future.

Raj is a boss! If you want a fully custom exhaust on your car, don’t hesitate to come in. He took on the challenge of converting my car from single to dual exhaust, after 3 other shops turned me away, saying it was too hard and they couldn’t do it. Raj and his crew were very meticulous, using precise measurements and making sure everything lines up perfectly. Raj treated my car like it was his own car at the shop, and he wouldn’t finish the job till he was satisfied with it. Highly recommend these guys, will definitely be back for future projects. Thanks guys!

These guys are great. Fast and easy on the pocket. Went to Midas on my way to Quiet muffler to check price. Wow! Midas quote over $200 and 2-3 hours labor. Crazy! Thanks Quiet muffler!

Not impressed. Brought my car in for them to look at, they said they’d do it in 2 hours. Came back 4 hours later and they still hadnt looked at it so I just took my keys and left. Drove down Kingsway a few blocks to John’s Auto Shop and got my car diagnosed immediately. Would not recommend this place.

Professional and transparent in the work done. Very happy with the quality of work but while billing, they billed me for 2hrs ($125/hr) for probably a 30min job. Reason being they quoted 2hrs before and I agreed due to my unfamiliarity.

My car had funny noise I took my to deferent garage they couldn’t find out what is wrong then I bring it to quiet muffler in 1 hour they fixed everything smart guys and very honest

Mgr did not phone to tell me about another problem which was one of the problem s also did not tell me till I came back what the problem was I might not have paid to fixed other issue until further investigation

Took me in last minute this morning, despite being very busy, fixed my problem, charged me nothing. Honest! And, open Saturdays!

I always take both my cars here for service (Audi + Smart car). I have my friend who is also a mechanic for one of the dealerships check out the work this place conducts on my vehicles and its always been positive.
The prices are great and the guy never tries to rip me off. He always says that this is not necessary but just a heads up.
Definitely beats all those franchise locations that try to up-sell you on things you do not need!
I highly recommend this mechanic. Honest family owned shop with owner always on site.

My experience at Quiet Muffler & Brake was absolutely amazing. I had visited Muffler Man down the street and that actually led to me finding Quiet Muffler.
Gill was the gentleman who took care of me and my 2011 Volvo S60. Very professional and has a can-do attitude. This shop works on all types of vehicles and is conveniently located across Highgate Village so you can do some shopping or grab a bite while waiting for your vehicle.

Muffler Man who is who is down the street had me sit outside for over an hour only to quote me a ridiculous price and scolded me as to how much work it was to reinstall my vehicles muffler. This was really bad as I had a hernia operation five days before (they were aware). Who makes someone sit for over an hour in the sun only to complain and tell them to come back another day!? Quiet Muffler took me in immediately although they were busy. This is proper client care!

Quiet Muffler & Brake quoted me a reasonable price and their workmanship is top tier. I am VERY happy with these guys.
They really deserve many 5 star reviews. Keep up the good work guys!

Bad service, waste customer's time!
We have an appointment in the morning, he said that it would be fine to repair the car in 10 mins to 15 mins one day before. But when i go there, he said he lost his key for the machine and said he cannot repair the car, even the nail in the tire.

Went in to get my exhaust fixed and Raj was very friendly and knowledgeable. His quote was almost half the price as the place down the street. Fast and cost effective service. Thanks guys!

Had a good experience with the guys at quiet muffler. I needed to get my catalytic converter replaced and some pipe work done on my crv. Raj gave me a fair quote and a estimate on how long it would take him to do the Job. He was pretty on par with the time. He also gave me a bit of a break on the bill at the end of it all, which was cool of him. Thanks again nice work on the cat.

Guy got the job done but after three cars and bad welds I’m done with this place. Rather go to strong muffler

The owner/operator was especially helpful in providing me advice of which muffler to purchase. He was thorough explaining the features of the different mufflers available for my vehicle and did not push the more expensive one. He went a step further and put a product on the muffler to last longer and advised me to come back in a week so he could do it again. He promised my vehicle would be ready by a certain time and it was.

I can't say they are super kind people smiling and making you feel very welcome, but they are honest, fast and straight to the point.

Raj did a good job on changing my muffler and doing the exhaust modifications i wanted, my car didn't sound exactly as good as I was expecting the first time I got there but they told me what to do to make it sound exactly like I want because i didn't want it too loud, I came back there and in 10 mins labor they made my car sound just perfect, in total my exhaust modifications would have costed only around $450 and it was worth it.

You can buy an aftermarket full exhaust system and get it installed by a technician but it would cost a lot more.

Raj is a good guy. He is knowledgeable and does good work. He is willing to cater to the customer all the time.

Excellent service and great price for the repair. What more can you ask for, a quiet muffler, got it.
