Well.the trees were big, but the trail was short:/ and you have to pay for parking? Just skip the island entirely and go to Olympic National Park in the US. By the way, the cheapest campround on the island is like $60 for a tent, according to the person at the Info Center. Way too much, eh?

Really enjoyed walking here. We did hiking along trail B. It's totally worth it and highly recommend. Its really nice walking through the lush rainforest and the path is on a raised wooden platform. Park pass can be purchased at the parking lot at Trail B.

A beautiful forest walk. There is boardwalks for about 98% of the way with a fair amount of stairs, however there aren't many at once so it's a doable hike for those less athletic.

Walked the circular path on the other side of the street. There are a lot of steps, but you can manage them easily. The forest is great and we often just stood there and listened to the silence. We only saw 1 squirrel.

A beautiful board-walk hike, but is not stroller or wheelchair accessible! (You will end up carrying your stroller if you try lol) lots and lots of stairs, but a great workout none the less!

Fairly easy walks about 1 km each. Boardwalks to follow most of the loops. You can buy your National Park Day pass at the kiosk in the parking lot.

Great short hike. We have young kids (6+) and everyone enjoyed the experience even on a rainy day!

Beautiful trail. It is one of the busiest trails in the area, but early morning before 8am it is deserted. Lush and old landscape, entirely on a deck platform. It took me about 25 minutes to complete trail B loop. Very easy, some stairs but nothing crazy. Dog friendly on leash. One of the highlight is the bridge made out of a huge tree trunk. Theres also a huge tree where you can picture yourself next to it.

Fantastic for a short walk (only 1km each side of the highway) - lots of steps but very well done. Magical place preserved by careful boardwalk construction.

We did loop B today. We moved quickly, so it took us only around 20-25 minutes. Absolutely gorgeous walk and we loved the signage throughout which included descriptions and information. Would have loved to stay for loop A, but had a tight timeline. Definitely worth the stop!

Super excursion destination!
Especially nice when it rained.
A bit shaky but very cool wooden path leads you through the rainforest.

Gorgeous trail with ancient mossy trees and interesting signs about the ecology. Loved standing quietly listening to all of the forest sounds. Easy walk for all ages but stairs might make it inaccessible for some.

This free and easy trail turns out the best spot in the reserve. The trees, bushes, ferns grow so dense together, with mosses on the tree trunk, whether is the tree is dead or alive: they all live on each other, peacefully at least and seemingly harmoniously as well.

The park management did a terrific job maintaining the trail, with most parts in air like bridge. One huge cedar trunk (like 3 feet) lies across a small creek: , with top section chopped flat for a very easy crossing. I stopped there for a whole, trying to figure out how did they get the huge tree trunk there? Physically, there is no realistic way to move the trunk (unlike one uses a helicopter or something like that).

The most likely answer is, they didn't get the trunk there: the trunk happened to just fall there. If that's true, that'd the truly amazing work of nature.

Deux trails bien aménagés de chaque côté de la route. Un endroit bucolique avec des explications intéressantes. Une nature bien préservée et impressionnante!

Trail loop B is a fairly easy walk. 1.2km with a number of stairs. All boardwalk. Beautiful effort by Parks Canada to provide access to the beauty of this area.

This place is like a other world! Reminds me of New Zealand! So pretty, so fresh and peaceful! Be prepared for a lot of stairs. We'll maintain boardwalk throughout. We just hiked Trail B and it took about 45 minutes with stops.

Really nice boardwalks. Many old tree to marvel at. Great place to stretch your legs. Very dry for a rainforest in summer of 2023.
