Ramada by Wyndham Kelowna Hotel & Conference Center

Biggest complaint we have while we stayed was the amount of noise from the hockey teams that were staying there.
We were also unable to get in touch with front desk staff for over an hour while listening to kids play hockey in the hallway at 1030pm

Great location! Close to everything. The mall is across the highway. There is a liquor store downstairs.

The pool and hot tub are nice but quite busy depending on when you go. The staff doesn't really bother you or help you. Only dealing with them was check in and out. Rooms are average. Nothing special about them at all but they're okay.

Bed was very comfortable and clean. Room was nice but dated and there were a few issues but Front Desk was very receptive and apologetic to the, mostly minor, inconveniences.

This was a very solid 4-star hotel experience for a reasonable price.

- Easy parking over a large lot around the hotel
- Counter staff are courteous, and mentioned accessibility considerations (that my room was up a small flight of stairs)
- solid wifi: easy to connect to, speedy, and maintains a solid connection throughout the building. There was a Cisco wifi access point in my room itself.
- Clean washrooms with sensible split curtains and transparent upper portion to let more light through, adjustable spray shower head, and a sticker with instructions on how to operate the bath. My room had the sink area outside the toilet/bath door which was convenient - other people with you can use the sink without blocking off the toilet
- Keurig and pods provided, 2 large bottles of water you can purchase by opening
- Bedside table lamp base had built in outlet and USB port for easy access
- Four pillows per bed if that’s your kinda thing
- Small desk table (with a 3-port power bar mounted right to tabletop) provided and comfy office style chair
- Convenient location by the mall and other points of interest
- Attached full pub bar and family restaurant
- Mini fridge, safe, hairdryer, and ironing board in room

Suggestions:

- Room light switches near bed

My first time at a Ramada/Wyndham property, and it’ll be at the top of my list when searching through a new destination. Let’s see if this is a standard.

Room was great, very clean and very comfortable beds! They did some update since the last time I’ve been here. New beddings, i like the red ergonomic chairs.washroom has been renoed as well.

Will definitely come back here and will recommend this hotel.

It was okay. The people nice and the rooms just okay. I appreciated the checkout at 12. You could hear your neighbors and the things from the hall. Okay for one night

Very comfortable and clean room. Friendly front-desk service. I chose this hotel because it is cat-friendly and convenient location. I would have no hesitation in staying here again.

When you check out make sure to ask to see the bill to confirm. The guy that did my check out tried to charge me for another nights stay. Also I had some laundry done and had the cost billed to my room and the front desk double billed it to me. Other than that the location is good and close to lots of shopping

Tried calling to ask for questions before booking and it is an infinite automated call machine with no ability to reach anyone.

The Ramada is conveniently located and the room was exactly as described, which perfectly suited our needs and is clean and well maintained. We enjoyed eating at the pub.

The hotel was close to the hospital and the airport. Very clean and very friendly staff. Hghly recommend.

Bed was so bad we cut our stay short and checked out after our first night. There was also a lack of toilet paper in the room.

Large, quiet room. Maybe a bit dated decor but the mattress was good. It was everything we needed.

-Super friendly and helpful staff (always in a good mood)
-Nice, clean rooms
-We had our room on the ground floor and could park right in front of the door
-Restaurants were nearby

My husband and I traveled through here and this was our hotel choice. We were greeted as customer of the day and was gifted a beautiful platter of cookies and fresh fruits. This is the perfect location if you want to do some site seeing and shopping at the same time. I’d totally visit again.

Overall was a great experience. Wasn't able to use the gym facilities as they weren't very good. Overall, staff were friendly. Hotel was located conveniently next to the strip mall and accessible quickly to the airport.

The rooms are not overly exciting, gym could use some free weights/dumbbells. But what made this a 5 star to me was the service. A front end attendant literally ran ahead of us to push the button to get the elevator for us, and the door was closing, and he lept inside to open the door for us (he had long dark hair). Then the ice was all out (baseball team used up all the ice), so the maintenance man (about mid/late 40s with a portly appearance) went out of his way to go get us ice, and he was so friendly. Also a great location. Annoying you have to pay $3 for the water in the room though

Nice place to stay. But don't have a microwave in every room, so we have a hard time with our 1month old baby's food warmup and making.

It's a little older, but the rooms are clean and the service is top notch.
As a value guy, this place delivers.
The location is not the best part of town, but I never had any issues with leaving my car. Sorry.

The best part is the staff - they are always professional, courteous, and personable.

Not happy with the service as there was NO breakfast and DIRTY room…NO heater not worth it. Beware.

This hotel is not worthy of the Ramada brand. It's grubby, torn drapes, and only one elevator for the whole hotel.
