Ramada by Wyndham Williams Lake

Terrible experience. Hallway and elevator smelled strongly of booze and cigarettes. People down the hall and across were partying all night. Cigarette smell wafted into our room and we were woken up at.midnight, 2am, 3am etc to yelling and partying and slamming doors. Decided to leave at 5am. Won't stay again. Room was fine overall, definitely gets a quick clean not a deep clean. Behind the nightstand was hair and dust and garbage.

The staff went way over and above. I highly recommend staying at the Ramada. The resturant is also exceptional and one of the best in the town.

Disgusting black stains on the carpet throughout the room, wallpaper falling off, curtains falling off, bathroom ceiling paint peeling off, silicon around tub damaged and falling out.

I questioned the cleanliness of the bed so i slept in full clothing

I had worked a full day, travelling 5 hours after work, arriving late and needed to check out at 4: 30am. If under any other circumstances, i would have left and went to another hotel.

Will not return, will not recommend

This place is on a steep hill, so if you’re passing through and towing anything keep this in mind. Rooms are very dated. Blow dryer doesn’t work. Stuff on the ceiling that should be cleaned off. Very thin walls to the point that we heard everything in the room next to us. Elevator is pretty sketchy. I wish the place smelled ‘clean’.

Place is great, staff is super friendly and the restaurant insode is awesome. The food is great too.

Very dirty carpets;totally stained. Extremely loud air conditioning. Otherwise ok. To be expected for yhe lower price.

Hotels needs updating and lots of damage repair. We paid extra because it advertised breakfast included. Well, breakfast, in a bag, was pitiful. The extra cost we paid for breakfast, a muffin or granola bar and a piece of fruit ot small yoghurt. No drinks, no catering for people on special diets, etc. Is a rip off, won't come back. Don't recommend

Our car had a flat tire outside Williams Lake with no spare so we we're stuck in Williams Lake for the night. A kind gentlemen drove us into town to see where our car was towed to and recommended the Ramada. The staff we're very friendly, kind, caring and compassionate. I will stay there from now on. Thank you Ramada for making our stay in Williams Lake a restful, peaceful stay.

About the only downside was the short shower. Only about 5'9" high, but that's common in hotels.

For the price ($160.00) this was a very old and run down hotel. Paint was cracking on the ceiling in the bathroom and the bedroom, something had splashed up the wall and wasn’t cleaned, burn marks on the carpet, the tap did not stay on in the bathroom and the tv was small (the remote did not work either). When I reported the above issues to the front desk on checkout there was no apology or offer to make it right. I thought it was very overpriced for the “tired” room.

Old pizza left in the fridge and when my son forgot his waist pack with his wallet that had 15$ in it the maids lied and said they did not find anything. - my ten year old son rated this the worst hotel ever

Good hotel. Clean, friendly and a great restaurant downstairs. Definerly beats the best western down the road.

Okay rooms but was disappointed at the "continental breakfast". Definitely paid a premium to stay at a hotel with breakfast, only to find out they offer a "to go" bag with your option of a banana or apple and a granola bar. Not a breakfast by any means, nor was it healthy. There was no coffee made either (8AM). The hotel also smells of Indian food as the tandoori restaurant below is very pungent. My nose was on fire all night. It was not a pleasant experience trying to sleep when all I smell was curry. It was like I was sleeping in a kitchen.

Great location at Williams Lake. 24x7 front desk and the front desk lady was really nice and gave us a lot of suggestions to visit in the area.

The rooms are standard ones you expect at Ramada. There is a pick up breakfast, which is muffins, fruits, coffee and juice.
The hot tub is still not functional due to COVID.

I always go there, reasonable price, and clean. Just breakfast needs to be back as it was in a restaurant.

Bathroom was dirty, there was hair in the tub and the counter looked like someone spat toothpaste on it. Fitness room and hot tub were closed but nobody told me. There was a constantly loud thumping noise that happened throughout the night. The included “breakfast” was really just a granola bar and a water. Not coming back

Staff were super accommodating helped out in a huge way.

Great place to have a job fair at, very friendly staff, clean reception area and nice clean hallway. And the room that was used for the interviews was very clean and set up well. I would like to see what the guest room are like and i will see what the cost is like to stay in one for the night is.

Property is very old but kept clean of bed bugs.
Ramada is a world chain & for first time i saw such a poor Property.
Please invest more on facilities esp. Shower head, room lighting, cuboard door in washroom & breakfast offered (breakfast is so cheaply offered) under the name grab & go.the tariff is high but surely not value for money.
The house keeping staff is very courteous & responsible though but How can u leave entrance road without cleaning of black ice?

It is difficult riding to top as Property is at height & vehicle gets stuck at times due to black ice. Is salt so costly?

I feel like I was catfished when I pulled up at this location. It's really dated. My suite was fine, though. It was bit. Internet was finicky.

Great place to stay at. Booking a playpen for the young one was easy and it was there when we got to our room. Front desk was great. You can't hear the highway, but you can hear your neighbours so I would say be courteous to others staying there and keep the loud voices to a minimum late at night.

Dated decor, carpet's are horrible, beds are okay, staff are friendly and helpful, bagged breakfast is very basic (and they won't give you anything extra - you can't have a yogurt and a fruit cup - no way!) And the smell from the east Indian restaurant isn't that appealing every time you walk in the lobby (no offense to East Indian food).

Pros: free breakfast muffins and fruits, nice staff, spacious room, Indian restaurant onsite is delicious.

Cons: Not that clean (we did a lot of cleaning), water temperature for showering is not consistent, thin walls (can hear neighbors), internet speed is ok, and worst of all, lots of (big) spiders and bugs we had to kill.

Probably will not return the next time I am in the area.

Tidy and cozy. A great spot to take a rest. Close to the lake view point. Receptionists are super friendly and helpful. Free breakfast is available 6-11am at reception.

Staff are welcoming and polite, however we encountered problems throughout our stay. We had trouble getting hot water in the shower, breakfast was terrible (seemed like we were eating yesterday’s microwaved leftovers, and on the last day another person in our group found bed bugs. We followed all recommendations to keep them from entering our house but still ended up with an infestation. That was 6 months ago and due to covid we’ve travelled nowhere else this year (so absolutely no chance this is from anywhere else, we haven’t even been in anyone else’s house) but somehow we’re still dealing with bed bugs in our home. We’re at $5000+ in losses (furniture, bedding, etc.) and cleaning and pest control fees. The worst part is that when our group reported the bugs to staff they were NOT surprised at all, this was a KNOWN problem.

Friendly service. Pet friendly. Interior somewhat dated and exterior is not reassuring BUT.clean rooms and facilities. Would stay again.

Want second hand smoke inhalation? Stay here. Couldn’t breath in the room with window open and air on full to try and circulate the air out. I have allergies, my eyes are swollen, itchy red and foggy and throat raw. So much for a non smoking room.
Mystery white powder in coffee machine water area. Not to sure about that.
Customer service was amazing. If only they kept the hotel standards as high as they hold their staff this would get a 5/5.
Room was clean otherwise.

Bed linens were low quality and really scratchy and uncomfortable. Ancient heating/ac unit was really bad. Would kick out of heating or ac function, then would have to adjust settings to make any function work again. Lots of noise transfer from other rooms including a dog barking from a room down the hall on the 2nd night. Ugh. Would not go back. Also.the free breakfast was a laugh. A 'buffet' of what looked like microwaved eggs, paper thin bacon and a pile of oily sausages. I asked If I could order off of the menu instead (fully willing to pay), I was told that there was no menu to look at, even though the buffet was held in the attached restaurant.

Dinner was amazing. But their breakfast buffet was absolutely unreal. Every thing was made fresh that morning. Nothing reheated.

I was pleasantly surprised when I stayed here for the first time. The bed was comfy, the shower was devine, it was quiet for sleeping, breakfast was included, the staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the price was right.

The room was nice however it was not vented well. The smoke from someone smoking weed came in as if they were standing next to me. When my husband complained nothing seemed to change. I have allergies related to smoking and had to take a strong antihistamine. This kept me awake all night, Then a group of loud drunks interrupted what little sleep I was getting at 2 in the morning. I guess the $10 dollar discount the clerk at the front desk gave me should make me feel better right. Not

Great customer service, excellent hot buffet breakfast, room comfortable, nice and clean. I always stay at Wyndham hotels wherever I go, I never get disappointed. They actually exceed your expectations

Staff is very pleasant and friendly. Room was very nice, clean and the bed was wonderful. Pub next door was great. Breakfast was fantastic!

No WiFi or TV. Phone for room to room not working. Blood in my sheets when I arrived. No way. Drove an extra 5 hours back to Langley BC. Pathetic.

Always remember you get what you pay for! When there is a nice Do Not Disturb sign on your door yet housekeeping knocks around 8am anyway. Very nice. But yet when the do not disturb sign is not out the fail to give housekeeping. What should I expect

Very nice place to stay. Extremely quiet between rooms, you can only hear people when outside your door. Great customer service and cleaning service. Would highly recommend. Also great restaurants on site and nearby.

Rooms are updated and very comfortable and clean. Great location and friendly staff. Because of the age of the building the elevator is small and the workout room is tucked away so you have to pass through the lobby to get there. Overall a great stay.
