Rooms are out of date, dirty, and smelly. The pool, slide, and hot tub area is so old it’s borderline disgusting. Floors are cracked and rusty with belt up dust and who knows what. My eyes were burning after going in. Not a pleasant experience. These rooms are extremely overpriced for the quality that they are providing. The furniture in the rooms are very old and rundown. And there’s dust building up all around the edges of the carpet. I did not even want to touch the phone or the alarm clock. The inside of the fridge is not well cleaned. I would not be surprised if there was more building up under these walls and floors. Another company should buy this place and tear it down and start fresh. Or at least do some serious renovations for upgrading. I would not recommend coming here ever. At least there seems to be hot water and clean bedding. Shower and tub were clean.

Was told their was no single rooms found out after from cleaners there were 8 so was charged for a double will not be back that is just crooked business

We are driving through Canada highway 1 from Calgary to Seattle and need to take a rest break for good night sleep. We found this property a good match according to all our need. A nice two queen bed, a kitchenett, fridge microwave, a pool with slides (which is a bonus) and hot tub. Next morning we got free breakfast. Above all it's just a signal away from main highway. So very convenient location.

The staff was very friendly and helpful as I had a unique situation. Rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel was well kept and the breakfast was great considering I did kr realize it was a hot one.

When me and my family and I arrived, we wanted to go swimming, so we went to the pool. The pool looked dirty, the slide was unavailable, and there was a tarp on top of the hotub, and we heard this weird ticking noise that happened all night long the and on the good side the staff were friendly and the breakfast was pretty good.

The room we had was a smokers room and we don’t smoke. It’s more of a pit stop for truckers and I would recommend something else if you have the cash to burn. This was a good spot though as we had a party of 5.

The staff were friendly, continental breakfast was appreciated, especially for the price we paid for the rooms. The rooms were clean and comfortable but the pool and hot tub area could really use an upgrade. Our stay was very expensive but overall decent.

Happy they got six of us to stay in one room last minute. The rooms were nice and the breakfast was pretty good.

While quite dated, and a little pricy considering how dated it is, I gotta say the bed, pillow, and air conditioning were great - which, on a 33ºC/91.4ºF night - was greatly appreciated.

We stopped over night on our way to Victoria. This is one of those old-school motels where you park outside your room, only we were on the third floor.

I gotta say, the things that mattered most were great, thus the 4 stars.

Pros:
• room was clean. 2 queen beds for me, my wife and two teens.
• a very comfortable mattress and probably the best hotel/motel pillows I've ever slept on.
• water pressure was excellent and the towels were soft enough.
• the A/C worked well
• pleasant staff
• continental breakfast was a nice touch - avoid the powdered eggs ;-)
• kids loved the pool

Cons:
• the A/C was a little loud.and 2' from my head LOL
• the bathroom fan was as loud as helicopter coming in for landing.
• the water slide was out of service (not mentioned on Expedia)
• pricy for what you get

Price: $215 + taxes. Pricy considering how dated it was.but, a sign of the times as everything costs more.

The Tsawwassen Ferry terminal was only 2h 35m drive from Merritt. So, a convenient starting point.

Staff was awsome, I loved the bed is better than my bed at home and I never knew that waffles come in a soft serve dispenser very nice indeed!

The entire town shuts down at around 9pm. Drive thru shuts down at 10. Very expensive little town.

Rooms were great but breakfest was a very weird situation. They have some one serve you your eggs and sausage and make your toast. Something I'd way rather do my self. Ita kinda weird and I won't be going back just for that reason.

Stayed for 5 months in 2021 everyone was very nice.food b.fast was very good.free bananas or whatever i could carry with me for lunch.

Our room wasn't even clean. The garbage was still full and scattered on the ground from the past people and the beds not made. They had given us a used room. We told the worker there and he managed to get us a actually cleaned room. Even then it wasn't the best. One of the worst rooms I've seen. Not nice pillows but an ok mattress. Bad soap and squished bugs on the walls and roof. There is a swimming pool a slide and a hot tub but the slide was out of order. Not a good hotel especially for its price. Okay view.
