Ramis Cut Barber Shop

Poor customer service. The guy was on his phone the whole time. Downright smug attitude towards the customer.

I have come to this barber shop on and off for years and the haircuts are generally good. The one thing that has bothered me over the years is the attention to cleanliness and sterilization here. On several occasions I've had other people's tuffs of hair fall on me off the clippers into my hair, my beard etc, the work stations are often messy and this last time within 2 days of my cut I developed and infection on my scalp that got so swollen and infected I have now developed a spot of alopecia on the back of my head where the infection happened. After this final experience and development of loss of hair I decided that even though it is a convenient place to go with generally good haircuts I can't trust the cleanliness here as this should be a top priority.

Great guys and will recommend it to everybody. But always busy and the parking is difficult there

Rami’s cut ‘s Coquitlam location better than this location first of all they don’t accept any cards second the young guy with a hat not a good barber every time he cuts my hair he ruins and later on tried to fix it by combing it, especially last experience with him I wouldn’t go Poco location again!
I’ll go to Rami’s but only Coquitlam location!

Tldr; bad service, bad haircut, bad beard trim.

No welcoming or friendly atmosphere at all.

Didn't use any scissors at all, just clippers, completely changed the look of my hair which wasn't what I asked for, didn't really listen to what I wanted, cut looks awful - thankfully it'll grow back.

Asked for a beard tidy and line-up. Repeatedly told him I didn't want any length off as I'm growing it out. Completely ignored me, took a load of length off the sides just leaving me with a long tuft at the front, sadly this will take much longer to fix than the hair.

Weird, cash only system, they don't seem to really care if you just walk out.

Won't be back.

My go to place for a fade cut. They always know what kind of cut I need and gets the work done. Nice ambience and located at a very convenient place.

Price was different from its website and looked no senior discount. Using blower to clean up the seat definately make hygiene issues. I felt iching after hair cut.

This is my go-to place for haircuts - they cut just the way you like it. They are fast but take care to use scissors when doing the layering. And they have toned down the music now - it's quieter and more mainstream than in the past. NOTE: they only take cash or debit!

Did not have the best experience at this barber. My barber didn’t even introduce himself to me or ask how I wanted my hair cut. I saw him smoking a dab pen or vape in the back. He was on the phone while cutting my hair and smelled quite sweaty. And for some reason they will not take any other payment form besides cash (pretty sure that’s not allowed). Overall not a friendly environment. Don’t recommend. Hair cut was decent.

The first time I went there the haircut I received was awful. Like it must have been his first time. He was a very nice young guy so I paid and tipped him. But when I got home I had to fix it the best I could.
The second time which was just last week I went in. The guy who cut my hair was more interested in talking to the other barbers, looking at each ithers phones, actually took a call then passed it to another employee. A 10 min haircut took over 30 mins. Loud, unprofessional and a mediocre haircut is the best you'll get here. And afterwards reading some of the owners comment's on here I can see why it will never get better. I would avoid this business. Will not return.

This place is unprofessional. I got the most awful haircut of my life here. Instead of a mid fade, he shaved the side of my head and called it a fade, which is not what I asked for. They were very disrespectful when I wasn't happy with my haircut. There was also a loud, harsh song playing in the shop when my little brother was there, so that song was for adults, not kids. My haircut wasn't what I expected, and I truly told them I didn't want to pay. At first, they said no. Then they said that it would be fine, they could pay for me even though I had money but I wasn't satisfied. They explained to me that in their country they call this charity. I found that very disrespectful and rude. And even after all those insults, they offered me candy in front of my family as if I were a child without money. This was my first and last visit here, and I found it very disrespectful and unprofessional.

The owner should consider removing the TVs. Every time I go for a haircut, the barber is more focused on the soccer match than the customer and in a rush to complete the haircut. I enjoy supporting local businesses and giving them an opportunity, but after my last two visits, I cannot justify giving them my business when they cannot bother giving me their undivided attention for a 30min haircut. Rob does a good job when he works, but will lie about having appointments to avoid work.

Will not return and I do not recommend. My cut was ok but very poor attention to cleanup - I left there with my neck and ears covered with cut hair, no style or gel offered. Then, they accept cash only despite there being no signage indicating as much, basically forcing you to use the ATM they conveniently have right there which will hit you for an extra $3 so they can avoid a 50c bank fee, get a kickback from the ATM and probably pocket it to avoid taxes.

Friendly and experienced staff. I always go there with my young sons. (2 & 4 yrs old).
The staff are good with the kids and makes it easy to get my kids good haircuts. Highly recommend this location.

Great place for a awesome haircut to keep me fresh. Rob is the man and never disappointed from the work he does. Will be back for the next and next and next.

Today. Got charged $23 for a haircut. I know it was $17 not long ago. Thats a big increase. Checked website still says $17 for adult cut. Called shop they say that’s for a high school student. Hmm. Says $17 for adult cut on website. Feel like I got ripped off. $17 is a good deal $20 after tip. $23 is too much Rami. Probably won’t be back.

Great place to go and have great hair cut ask for Remon he is the best. He knows how to do his job.

Booked an appointment at 2 pm. Walked in and everyone busy still 20 mins later. Don’t waste people’s time!

Rami is one amazing barber! He’s been training some of the top barbers across Vancouver for over a decade and the service here has been consistently excellent. Would recommend this awesome team any day!

First time and last time! Not all staff and customers wore masks (mandatory in BC). Staff were talking in language not known to me (Middle East, probably Iran or Iraq) and it is not just rude, but as an immigrant myself, two official languages are english and french and I learned to speak english so should they.

Robert fixed up my absolutely disaster haircut I got a few days before at a different salon, he did such a great job, I'm so happy with the results

It's fine, depending on the day the employees seem more focused on their own conversations than anything. Haircuts are a reasonable price for a themed barbershop and the cuts are consistently good with only one or 2 outliers in the years I've been going

Hair was long enough for top knot I explained I wanted to fade the sides, keep the top. My fair is not long enough now nor can I style it the way I like.

I only see Robert. He's the best. I'm a bit older than most of their clients but he's a true barber. He matches MY cut not everyone's cut. He has classic barber etticit to make it a true barber shop experience. I'll be back for sure.

Zeyno did my haircut on Friday, December 4 she did awful work. One of the things I don't like is that they are always talking to each other their language and I believe the focus should be on the customer.she wasn't wearing her mask properly.
I WON’t RECOMMEND HER AT ALL.

My go to for a professional experience that most barbers dont amount to. This place has it all. Enjoy a friendly environment with barber of your choice at the cost of under 20$ you can't go wrong.

I was referred to this place as its good place for Hair Cut, But IT IS NOT. They cut one side of my hair, next to my ear, shorter then other side and now i cant do anything. I paid $7 tip thinking that he did a good job but I could have done better. DON'T GO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET READY FOR HALLOWEEN!

I get my hair cut from this place all the time. There's a tall slender gentleman that cuts my hair perfectly (I forgot his name) Really attentive to detail and I can tell he takes pride in the work he does. Great place to get a haircut from. NOTE: CASH ONLY SPOT - They have an ATM inside that charges you quite a bit.

I asked for a mid fade and left with my head shaved. If you want to show up and leave with shorter hair come here, that's basically all this is. They need to start vetting their barbers and only hire people who can do real fades

I gave this barber shop another try. Last experience was not good but needed a cut. I have been growing out my hair and asked the barber to just trim my sides leave the top and to clean up my beard. I should of known that I would of ended up butchered. I got a hair cut that I did not want my beard is gone and I now have a 13 year old hair cut. The typical side part cut that I think they specialize in. I could tell the lady doing my hair was new what could I say my hair was on the floor and loosing my shit would not put it back. Next time I'll just wait. Will not go back again

This place is really friendly and not very expensive but one time someone messed up and had another person help was there for double the usual time

This place use to be great. Now they have nothing but new barbers who have NO IDEA what they are doing. Completely ruined my hair. You sometimes get lucky and get someone who knows what they are doing. Having a new barber, who is rushing the job, talking on his cell phone, joking and laughing with other employees is a recipe for disaster. Rami needs to step in and make this place more professional. There is usually 10 (i dont know if they are employees or just dudes hanging out) there and it still takes 1hr to get your hair cut.

Please Rami, have some sort of class and manage these people. You have the opportunity to have a great business, but all the reviews sound the same.

I have brought my son here for the last two years. The barbers I've had do a good job cutting hair. Service is friendly most of the time. However, this one guy that works there has such a bad attitude. He's cut my son's hair a couple of times. Unfortunately, this guy has ruined my experience here. Left such a bad impression today. It will definitely be the last time I go there.

It’s a bit like a fast food restaurant for hair cuts, but for the price/speed/quality and convenience, it’s totally worth it. Drop in is usually the best, but if you find a barber you like, you can book them ahead. Leave you’re kids at home as the music is often of the “adult” persuasion with little filter.

If it were not for Rame at Ramis Cut I would not be the barber I am today. I was taught by Rame and he is an amazing teacher, I now have a promising correr and just love my job. I'm able to manage my life and meet people and add confedence to peoples lives making a a difference in a positive way and do something I enjoy while building a wonderful life worth living for me and my family. I would highly recommend learning from Rame at Ramis Cut, he is the best by far in the Vancover area if not Canada. The place for a men's, or boys cut in Poco! Been going for years.music is loud, foos ball, relaxed atmosphere, even a Harley in the shop.just oozes guy cut stop.and they know guys hair!

They give great haircuts, but are easily distracted. I had a barber answer the phone mid-cut, talk to their friend, or even change some music. Great cuts, but the employees could do a bit better.

Ramis cuts is hit or miss. The staff are decently friendly but sometimes they dont evenly cut your hair, though it always looks good at a distance. If you're pressed for a haircut and dont want to book an appointment, the value for price is still there.

If your looking for a career in Barber industry! This is the place to go to learn! Great and very knowledgeable staff! Everyone’s there to share there knowledge and skills. They’re all very open minded and financially! It’s definitely a great price to learn Sucha beautiful trade! That’s forsure! Good luck! And keep up the good training!

Great place to get a haircut for the most part.but don't let rookies cut hair there.you have a name to live up to and some of them are just brutal

I asked for a low fade but noo this lady decided to shave all of the sides of my hair i waa very specific that i want a low fade and even told her that i spike up my hair she went to do her own thang i do not recommend this shop and plus you dont feel welcome when u come in

Would give less stars but can't. Waited 40 minutes, was told to wait another 30 minutes. People where taken before me that clearly arrived after me, unsure if they had appointments or not, but still unreasonable to wait over an hour. They could at least tell you it's a long wait, I wasn't even greeted when I walked in. Don't recommend.

I have been going to this barber for 3 years. Every haircut I’ve had has been amazing! They have great prices and lots of barbers so their is always short waits.

Barbers with no experience. Young kids just starting out. I can't find anyone in Maple ridge who knows how to just do the basics well.

Ive been to this location and a couple of Ramis’s locations for a bunch of years now. There are some really good barbers here but from my experience you also have a lot of new barbers lacking the experience to do a good job. Over the past 5 hair cuts I have had with this company, 3 of them have been really bad and the other 2 were great. The inconsistency of the barbers and the fact the I never know what I will get coming to this establishment makes me unsure if I will be making this a place I will continue to go to.

Never do BUSINESS with rami.long story short he burned me for $500 for some promotional videos for the store.i have all the messages to prove it.not sure what his problem is, his communication throughout the process was horrible.i liked and trusted him at first so i didn't get him to sign a contract or make a deposit in the first place.i even went beyond what our original verbal agreement for work was in terms of how much work i did.won't make that mistake again.

Pay 17 bucks for a 17 dollar cut. No revelations, if you're a $40 a cut kinda guy obviously go somewhere else

I've been there twice and did not feel welcomed. The barber was talking with his friends or colleagues for the most of the time on different language. Also, somebody was tickling (either friend or another barber) the barber when doing my haircut. I found these things really disrespectful.

Finally, you can pay only debit or cash. The barbershop looks pretty cool though. So bad I did not have a good experience.

Excellent barbers that know what they’re doing. Specialized in male haircuts primarily, you won’t get fade quality like this anywhere else.

These guys are tops. Good pricing for a haircut you will appreciate. Been to a couple of the others in the area and have been let down. Ramis or nothing from now on.

I just received an amazing cut from Radja. She took her time and did an amazing job. I will definitely be returning for another cut in the future.
